You know what's a real pain? IV breeding. It's annoying.

Chain breeding to the point where IVs are either insanely high, ot maxed. It is a very tedious, time-consuming process. But it ends up being necessary for the most powerful pokes. =_= I had to go through it with my Roserade.

I had to do so much breeding, just to make sure she got the highest possible IV count while still maintaining Hidden Power Fire - are any of you familiar with Psypokes? They have quite the wonderful stat calculator there. I made very liberal use of it while I was doing this, and had to turn my game off without saving whenever her stats went over the line of HP Fire and crossed into other HP territory.

And when I finally got the IVs where I wanted them....she didn't have the right nature. I couldn't very well breed her to make a new one with the right nature, because then the newborn's IVs would be too high! So I had to turn it off again.

Long story short, it took me roughly ten hours of nonstop dedication (eating, drinking, and bathing of course, though) until finally, here was my beautiful little Grassy thing with the correct nature, and IVs that were not quite just right, but were good enough to do.

And now I have my scrumptious, kick-ass Roserade.

=P And that was Aeon's poke story of the week.

Oh no he doesn't. His stats are far too pitifully low for him to contend with her ilk. She could just put his ass to sleep. Or tear him up with Leaf Storm. With her Sp.Atk, Charmander's Sp.Def, her EV spread, and the amount of Power behind Leaf Storm, she'd would still kill him, "Not very effective" or not.

Urgh, Hidden Power, I hate that time robbing move. I had to get Fighting HP on my Mismagius which means all IVs have to be even bar Hp and ATK which is useless anyway, it took soooo long but it ended up pretty damn perfect so it was worth it. Takes me a long time to get them though, 10 hours is even quicker than I can do it, I need about twice that much time to get them the way I want. Thank god I didn't have to get an egg move aswell.

Fixing my team, teaching some moves, finding a Plat move tutor, etc. Tomorrow my final Singles team will be done, but I'll make revisions for the tourney.

Also, SO MANY ZAPDOS' ON THE SUSPECT LADDER!

Do you use the fast egg hatching AR code or do you do all the tedious bike riding? The best time saving method that isn't a hack would have to be the Everstone.

I need to find an IV Mod for eggs. ^_^

I use the fast-hatch code where 1 step counts as 255 steps.

My game is almost untouched by codes, Felix. I do the tedious Bike Riding (albeit with a slugma on me to cut the hatching time in half), and bring multiple eggs with me to try and get more done.

Yes, when I got the Rose I wanted, but with the wrong IVs, I used an Everstone to make her pass the nature on (half the time).

The only codes I use on my Game are codes for Items. The way I see it, I do WAY more work, manually, then your average Pokemon Player, so I at LEAST deserve those items. The only fully hacked pokemon I have ever put onto my game was a Lugia - I just didn't feel like repeatedly catching it till I got the right nature. To make things fair, I even randomized its IV spread.

Oh, and my original Tauros was hacked, but I was just using it to breed new Tauros. The one I use currently is legitimate.

Breeding a hack is still hacked. :P

I recommend the one on psypokes.com. If they're both Level one hundred, just punch their current stats (and any EVs they've gained into the calculator), and then adjust the IVs until the stats you see on the calculator match up with the ones on your game. That'll show you what their IV spread is.

You can try and experiment with the thing to figure out how to use it - it'd probably be easier than me explaining it to you.
