Nicknames: ugh, its too much of a hassle to create a good nickname for all the pokemon I have so i just leave it simple. Except for my earlier years where me and my older brother named every pokemon we caught -shudders- my brother once named a Kyogre Sith just because he was into Star Wars.

They're called Seals and they make effects hapen when a Pokemon is sent out to battle. I like Nick Names because it makes them mine and it also helps me recognize them, as I have multiples of most of my Pokemon.

Oh, what do seals do exactly?

Alot of things, there's ones that make Fire effects, Electric stuff, lines, hearts, stars, petals, music things and letters. It really personalises your team and allows me to show off my pwnage art/deco skills as well as my battling talents.

I placed some seals on my one Pokemon in Emerald, and it made it look like it was suddenly engulfed with flame and then immediatley followed a smokey haze!! It was pretty cool.
