Dark
:/ Tomorrow is the day most people (except Felix) should challenge me to a battle, because I don't know when I will have other free time due to school starting. And this is SAT year. :/ Also, Felix, working on my team, so I'll battle you whenever I get a chance. Either way, I want Giratina.
Sailor Gourmet
Alright, aside form this... !~NEW TOPIC~! What are your top favorite battle combos?
Felix
If we're talking single Pokemon and their moves it's either Mean Passer Umbreon or SubPunch Breloom. If you mean multiple Pokemon I like CeliTran, a combination of Celebi and Heatran which can form a quite powerful Defensive core.

El Beasto Perezoso
The combo that I've wanted to try is an invincible Spiritomb or Sableye team. Shedinja + pokemon w/ Skill Swap, switch out to either Sableye or Spiritomb, then use Skill Swap again and poof, unhitable pokemon. Only works in double battels though... Felix
There not unbeatable, in fact they're very beatable. Aside from that I'd like to see you try that while being hit by two attacks each turn, not to mention they can just phaze you out.
El Beasto Perezoso
Oh I didnt mean they were unbeatable, its quite easy to take down the Shedinja or whatever with those two attacks as you said. it's just once the Dark/Ghost gets the Wonder Gaurd, then there is no way to hit it because no moves are supereffective against them. Felix
No they can be killed and I'll explain how in a few minutes.
El Beasto Perezoso
Oh wait a few ways just popped into my head. Does it have to do with hail and such other indirect attacks? Oh well it'd stil be fun to do though and if i was facing some average player theyd probably be like WTF? Kinda obvious it wouldnt work on people like you guys whose teams are made of win. EDIT: Just looked around youtube, wtf fire fang can hit it?
Felix
Yes Fire Fang can hit WonderTomb and WonderEye. However what you're forgetting is that (even if you managed to pull it off) Woder Gaurd is not it's real abilty, so by simply Roaring/Whirlwind them out you've solved the problem of not being able to use direct attacks. And yes, inderect damage also applies and with so much around it's very difficult to avoid; you've got Stealth Rock, Spikes, Toxic Spikes, (Roar and Whirlwind just increase the amount of damge done to them) Sand Storm, Hail and damaging status aka Burn and Toxic and let's not forget Perish Song which, like Roar, will force a switch as well. An entirely pointless team type with and end result that's still lack luster. Plus, it's not like their offensive prowess is going to be frightening anyone off. Dark
You cannot Skill Swap the ability Wonder Guard. http://www.smogon.com/dp/moves/skill_swap Does not work on Multitype or Wonder Guard Pokémon.
Felix
Damn it, that's the one thing I missed out on. I was like "I'm sure there's something else:?". I was going to write it and I totaly forgot:/
Dark
If it worked on Multitype, I would totally rape with Dark Plated Darkrai using (obviously hacked) Judgement. :D 100 (Judgement) x 1.5 (STAB) x 1.2 (Plate) = 180 Base Power! From Base 135 SpA. :D
Felix
I think plates are only a 10% increase in power. Also, I have a few more Pokemon and I want to try them out. Any takers?
Dark
Life Orb is 30%, right? Plates and other items have to be 20%, then. Dread PlateRaises the power of Dark-type moves 20%. Pokémon with Multitype become Dark-type. http://www.smogon.com/dp/items/dread_plate
Felix
I always thought it was those Type specific items were 10% Maybe that was last gen before they introduced the Muscle Band and Wise Glasses.
Dark
That's possible. I assumed that since the plates were 20%, the other items would also be 20%, but they could well be 10%.
Felix
So it must go like this. Choice 50 Life Orb 30 Type Specific Items and Expert belt 20 Muscle Band and Wise Glasses 10 Why I never noticed I don't know:/ Also, I just found out that Explosion has a secondary effect that I didn't know about, esentially making it a 500 BP attack. Tomiix
whats the secondary effect?
Felix
As well as being 250 Base Power it treats the opponents DEF as if it's halfed.
Dark
I knew that prior, but I haven't got the time to research if that works for SelfDestruct as well. Tell me that you re-applied for a sticky!
