yeah i watch those shows before, ninjas fight and they cast powers. But this is like an ongoing seiries so its atcually pretty good for a ninja anime.

Ok, so

I finished raising the Blaziken while I had no internet.

 

Final Stats:

HP: 283

Attack: 371

Defense: 137

Sp.ATK: 239

Sp.DEF: 162

Speed: 256

 

I'd like to think I did ok on the ATK and Speed. Gonna need to be fast...It's Defense won't let it live if it doesn't kill fast DX

(Shoulden't have to worry about killing things fast with it tho, it's got the stats for that)

 

 

So I've started to think about training an Absol, can get a max of 394 ATK (0.0), and is overall good. What do you all think?

Meh, Idc, Blaziken is still one of my fave pkm. I'd like to think I got a great one ;)

I even got another Torchic (Naughty, 13 ATK) in reserve if i wanna make another XD

 

So, any ideas of what to raise next? Again, this is Ruby =/

If you can, soft reset for a good-natured Groudon.

 

And Bagon are plentiful in Ruby, so try raising a good Salamence. I'm not sure if you can still get DDance as an egg move, however.

Question. Is Latios a uber?

Latios IS an Uber with Soul Dew and without Soul Dew (they are currently testing Latios for OU status without Soul Dew).

 

Latias IS an Uber with Soul Dew, but an OU without Soul Dew.

I already know Latias is not a uber. Would it be with soul dew to? I tested them both in wifi battles. To meh it looked like Latias was in need of the soul dew and not Latios.

Latias with Soul Dew is obviously Uber. Same with Latios with Soul Dew.

 

When you take away Soul Dew from Latias, it loses its instant-Calm Mind, therefore it HAS to set-up or use Specs. It poses a big threat to the OU tier, but without Soul Dew, it doesn't have enough to be Uber.

 

However, Latios w/o Soul Dew takes just as big a sting from losing his favorite item. He no longer has an instant-Calm Mind and an instant Specs, therefore he also has to set up. The different thing is that Latios poses more of an offensive threat, and can still use Dragon Dance or Calm Mind to sweep. Latias CANNOT sweep in Ubers without Soul Dew; Latios CAN.

 

I still think Latios should be OU, since stripping its Soul Dew is a lot.
