xD Oh I don't actually intend to USE Seaking. I was just trying to see if I could find a useful role for him.

Bell functions on an Uber Team if it runs Groudon, especially since she can nail Shaymin, Heatran, and Forretress easily, while also putting a hefty smack on Dialga (OHKOing the less specially defensive variants). She can also hit the occasional Celebi, and can hit Jirachi where it hurts, too.

Hostile Groudons quake in fear of her awesomeness, and if you managed to win a weather battle with Kyogre, she even put IT in its place. Mewtwo, Darkrai, and Latios can all take neutral, but still powerful, damage from Sludge Bomb, as they aren't the sturdiest sheds in the lot. (however, she's liable to be KOd if she doesn't Ko them first).

Seaking can do none of that. With Kyogre's support, he's still pretty much deadweight in Ubers.

EDIT: Actually, I take it back - his Megahorn can hit Mewtwo, Darkrai, Celebi (hard), Non-sky Shaymin, Skymin (neutral), and Latios. And Waterfall smacks Groudon.

But it's still not good enough to make him quite useful.

I'm planning a physical version for my Victreebel. Naturally, she'll be on a Sun team for the Speed support, so taking that into consideration, how does this sound?

Ictreebel @ Focus Sash

Adamant

252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 HP

Swords Dance

Leaf Blade

Sucker Punch

Worry Seed

Meant to be a second lead (after the primary, sunny lead has done its job). Start with Swords Dance. Her fragility means she might need Focus Sash on that first turn. After that, she can start slamming with Leaf Blades (landing occasional crits), and prioritizing with Sucker Punch (especially if you see an incoming priority move coming her way while she has 1 HP).

Bulky Resters like to make fun of her, so Worry Seed screws with them. It also solves the problem of those pesky Brelooms that like to spam their Poison Heal. If used in UU, it can fiddle with Clefable's residual impunity, and if used on a leading Scizzor, it's bye bye technician (while she'll survive the BP via Focus Sash).

For the sake of the Set's validity, do NOT switch her into anything unless she can do it for free. I'm not sure, but if there's a SLOW Baton Passer that can use Sunny Day, that's your ideal lead for supporting her. That way it sets up sunlight, and then gives her a free switch after taking a hit.

Also, if faced with SR or Spikes, it is advised that you clear them first.

If this is an Uber set, just use Groudon as the lead, and wait for the oppertune moment to switch in.,

xD Sorry Felix, I wasn't done posting the guideline.

As for Sleep Powder - it's an option, but I like the whole surprise element you get with WS - people will expect a Sleep Powder.

Yeah. Also, like I said in the first post, Worry Seed can funk up an opposing ability-reliant.

Like your Breloom, for example. It's pretty standard - lotsa people use it. It relies on that Poison Heal. But if it gets worry-seeded, there goes his ability, and he starts suffering from his item. He'll be forced to switch out. =o

With Sleep Clause, Bell can only SP one Pokemon at a time. But she can WS as many times as she wants, and probably funk up some strategies by forcing continuous switches, while physically maiming whatever she can.

Yeah, an RS would be necessary. If facing an SR/Spikes lead, you're gonna wanna save Bell for later, and instead see about dispatching that Entry-Hazard-er, and THEN setting up Sun.

In Ubers, Sleep Powder is to be used in place of Worry Seed, though. SR isn't an issue in Ubers, so that's cool, but since most of the pokemon there just have the Pressure ability, WS is pretty useless.

So, UU/OU set = Worry Seed, carry a RSer.

Uber = Sleep Powder, carry a Groudon.

Ugh, going from 6-0'ing noobs, to being 6-0'd.

funking hax.

Frozen Gliscor off od an Ice Fang that only did half and I could've roosted off.

And Crit on Stone Edge on Cress, which killed her.

wtf?

EDIT: Scrub claims he didn't need the hax to win. I understand the crit on Cress, but the funking Freeze on Gliscor? I lose my counter to like everything he had.

Lulz. My Lucario was burned in a battle. It was a SpecsLuke. He d/ced after I KO'd his Gliscor.

Also, I have a total of 54 non-Uber (OU, UU and NU) EVs. I just need 2 more and I can finally think about making a new team. Those 2 are a Kingdra WITH SWIFT SWIM and Yanmega. Everything else in OU is crap, everything else in UU is crap, and most NU's are crap unless used in Uber.

EDIT: I am making many rash decisions today. First, I quit PC for good. I have enough sheet from there, including that 20 or so of my EVs came from there. Next, I decided not to study for my History final. Finally, I made a Smogon Forum account.

=o I can get you a Swift-Swimming Kingdra, Dark. And a Yanmega. Just gimme the specifications, and it shall be done.

Hmmmm. *thinks about it) Shedinja, Victreebel, Seaking, Articuno, Cloyster....you're right. =/ Many of the game's NUs are only good in Ubers.

Although Sheddy can be good in OU, provided you handle his counters beforehand (I love forcing surrenders with him), and the aforementioned Bell can be awesome all-around if she has proper team support.

=o If her Max speed topped off at 300, she would definitely be OU. Not like that'll happen. It's just a fantasy of mine. xD

Is your History Final especially important, Dark?

Not really, I mean, I was always good at History, so I don't feel I need to study. I'm not aiming for a 100, just anything above an 85, which I can probably do.

I'll PM you the details *shifty eyes* because they will be put into my EV bank.

Also, I'm going into the 11th grade, so I feel I should mature myself. I stopped SotM, stopped PC, working on my virus so I can get back Shoddy, etc.

Pokemon is kinda getting boring, so I'm gonna keep a track of my win/losses.

Also, people on PC are just losers who can IV and EV, and I no longer need their help because I have enough EVs.

My plan until college is to find a VGC, beast it, and throw away my DS. =D

=o My my my. Quite the planner you are.

But, bear in mind that you'll probably get back into it eventually. =/ I mean, I'm a college student, and when not online (where I can be silly to my heart's content), I'm actually one the most composed, serious, and mature people you'll ever meet. (not trying to talk myself up, I'm just giving you my honest self-perception, as well as the opinions of others).

But I still play Pokemon, despite that, and everytime it gets boring, a new version comes out and I get into it again.

But they need to keep it interesting. G/S/C added two new types. RSE added several new battle items and alternate-type versions of certain moves. DPPt expanded on those items and moves while instigating a physical/special split.

Any new series would have to have either an innovative new battle engine, new types, or something very new to battles on the whole (dual-type attacks, anyone?).

PC is PokeCommunity.

But really, Pokemon IS getting boring. I was about to throw away my DS until I learned about competitive battling, and even that is getting boring now. I guess I haven't been battling much. LET THE BATTLE RAMPAGE BEGIN!

Also, after the Kingdra and Yanmega, I still have one final open slot before I reach my 60 EV target. Felix, do you wanna make a contribution? I can make it worth your while.
