That's because Lost sucks.

Fail troll is fail.

Terrible show.

They f***ing moved an island…

And? It's ****ing SciFi. What about moving an island can't you suspend disbelief about?

I have watched since the beginning of the series. Sadly' date=' every time I watch, there are only more questions. No answers. =/

You must not be paying very close attention.

It's a corny and unrealistic event' date=' like most sci-fi.

?

So it isn't so much that you can't stand Lost, it's that you can't stand SciFi? I guess you missed out on another great show, BSG. Or Stargate.

And you probably don't even understand what "move the island" meant.

No, I can respect Sci-fi that isn't completely irrational. Most of it happens to be, however.

What is "irrational"? I've yet to see a SciFi that is filled with things that couldn't even theoretically happen. The island moving could be any number of things, including a small wormhole. Not that that is absolutely what it was, but it serves as an example. Meh, I pity you for not being able to suspend disbelief. You're depriving yourself of one of the best acted, directed, and written shows on broadcast TV.

lol @ Sci-Fi that isn't completely irrational.

On of the best shows b****'s.

Indeed. It's right up there with Dexter and The Wire, in my opinion.

I should rephrase what I said. More questions' date=' little answers.

Awesome show, though.

Actually, you've got it backwards now. There are far fewer questions being asked than being answered. I would say that instead of a ratio of 6 questions to 1 answer, it's closer to 2 questions to 1 answer, and even 1 question to 2 answers at times. Not to mention there's still 31 more episodes to answer questions in.

I watched one episode early on. It was about some guy who was supposed to fall in love with someone who was Orange and then bumped into his wife because he was staring at someone wearing Orange. I am assured that this is completely irrelevant to the overall plot, but it's the only thing I know, and it reminds me of someone who has a lot of LOYALTY, so I'm waiting for it to become an epic Chekhov's Gun.

You'd like Mikhail.

Anyway, if you aren't entirely making this up, I'm not sure which episode you're referencing, but it most likely is a Chekhov's Gun. Like a lot of things on Lost.

[spoiler=Possible early spoilers for a random one-episode flashback subplot]Some (Asian) guy is a doorman who lets a guy into a hotel because he needs to use the bathroom, but that's against regulations for non-customers, so he's fired or quits or some combination of the two. Meanwhile, the (also Asian) girl is at the hotel for a marriage interview, except the guy she's interviewing with is planning to elope with someone else soon anyhow, so the interview is pretty much a sham, so she leaves. The two collide down by the river and end up married. Then they both wind up on the island.

That's "...And Found". Season 2, episode 5. Yeah, probably nothing is going to come of that, but you never know.

Also, Season 1 has Locke eating an orange.

I've seen random clips, since the rest of my family watches it. Is that the crazy Scottish dude?

Well, that's the only piece of plot I know, so I will insist against all reason that it will be revealed to be critical in the grande finale. The woman he married will turn out to be an extremely loyal cyborg who will do... something.

The whole island will also be revealed to be that one island where Lelouch and Suzaku go in the S1 finale. Because it has the power to travel between dimensions or something.

I am correct nine times out of ten.
