The basic idea isn't bad, but I'd like to see something else than dragons and chimeras. In my honest opinion... they became a bit overused.=/ But that's probably just me.^_^

The human drawn into the battles would add a nice touch to the storyline, though, I think.

 

On a sidenote, I've been thinking about giving a chance to the RP section on the site. My idea was to work on the Oneiroi myth. If this ever gets into shape, I'm going to invite you guys.;)

I have something epic on the way. It might not appear in a while, since I've decided to write at least five chapters before I put the first one up, but when it does, it will be epic - and probably uncommented, but that's irrelevant. A complete reconstruction of the previous Signer generation's battle against the Dark Signers, starting with a twelve-year-old Soujiro, Signer, and ending in the Zero Reverse.

Man on the Moon:

 

-A story about a kid who lives with his uncle.

-They have a rift between them

-The kid starts skipping school.

-The kid sees that a man has landed on the moon.

-Goes to Florida on a bicycle to meet Niel Armstrong.

-Meets Armstrong and decides to return home.

-Comes home to find that his uncle is in the hospital.

-He spends days sitting next to his uncle, not eating or sleeping.

-Ends with Uncle dying, and kid falling asleep and dreaming about meeting his Uncle in heaven (implies that kid dies)

It's kind of like a detective story except the characters include characters from SSBB, etc. I'll write it soon.

My 2nd Idea:

 

Title: The Pocket Watch(Needs new title o.O)

 

(son is 14 right now)

-Son and father get along great!

-Father get's killed by his business partner cause his father got the promotion he wanted.

-Son gets closed up after events, but is taking in by his Grandfather to avoid the orphanage.

(Time skip four years from now)

-Son still resents Grandfather and the world

-Son is about to graduate high school, and grandpa gives him his father golden pocket watch

-The son was in a financial spot because he couldn't pay for a credit card bill that his grandfather never knew about(Son is unemployed and has no money at all, bill was a mere $250 dollars)

-The son, instead of doing the smart thing and telling his grandfather, pawns the pocket watch for $300 dollars.

-Grandfather finds out from him when he discovers the bill in sons room

-Son feels horrible and goes to retrieve the pocket watch and the owner says he already sold it

-It turns out the guy who bought it lives in Alabama and kid has to travel there to get it back

-Son reaches Alabama and find the man, the man reveals that he gave it to her daughter and that she is a field professor and she lives in china.

-Son doesn't go to china but decides to live in Alabama for three weeks for her to return, with very little contact with his grandfather

-Girl returns and when she does son asks for the pocket watch back, but the girl refuses and runs away

-Son tells story of how its his fathers and he died, and she hands it over

-Son returns to NJ only to find his Grandfathers best friend sitting in his living room waiting for him to return.

-Grandfathers best friend tells that his grandfather past away do to a massive heart attack and then complications to surgery.

-Son feels horrible and thinks he didn't spend enough time with him when he was around.

-after the funeral Son stays at gravestone and sets the pocket watch on the bottom of it...

it's not so much a fight the system as much as it is disenfranchisement.

He doesn't hate school, he just doesn't care enough to go.

Setting: Postapocalyptic

Location: Beholder City

 

Protagonist: 30-year old reviewer Jonas Kinley

Synopsis: The Earth has been corrupted by a great disease, causing the very lands to rot with it's dread. The people that managed to survive have gathered in great cities, and the ones that didn't are now walking dead, carriers of the Infection. These are, of course, prohibited from the cities and are roaming the countryside.

 

Plot events are kept secret as of now. (Seriously, anyone who reads this thread could know the whole story in advance.)
