Absolution Gap, by Alastair Reynolds. Better than Redemption Ark thus far, if only because Redemption Ark severely dragged during the fight with Skade. Hope to nab the Obsidian Trilogy by Mercedes Lackey as well.

That's a strange coincidence. I'm reading Alastair Reynolds as well, although I've only read Diamond Dogs so far. I have to commend it. It's the first Sci-fi story that I've read cover to cover. Starting Redemption Ark tonight.

I loved it. It's not quite as in depth as The Lord of the Rings, more for younger readers but it's absolutely fantastic.

Richard Sharpe FTW! Those books are just awesome! I've read Sharpe's Gold and some of the shows. They're just plain epic. So is Bernard Cornwell.

Right now for English I'm reading "Ender's Game" by Orson Scott Card. I'm also in the middle of several trilogies: Inheritance; "the Eyes of God", "Devil's Armor", and the "Sword of Angels"; and the "Hellgate:London" series. Lots of reading to do...*sigh* XD
