Guest Tiger
Platinum is going to be epic win. Giratina's Origin Form is win. Lol, yeah it is! I haven't seen Giratina's Origin Form, though. =(
Cin
Have you been locked in closet? Go see it now. My parents after a hidden charge from Amazon on some DVDs, have not allowed me to order Platinum from the US...
Dark
The best thing about Plat will be (for us competitie fokes) the new moves open to Pokemon. The best out of the new moves is probably Scizor's access to the move Bullet Punch. Really made it go up in popularity there. The next best thing is the new Battle Frontier. Hell' date=' I'd get Plat just so I could play in there.[/quote'] Quote from Bulbapedia: The Accuracy of Hypnosis was changed back to 60. This will be a problem for a lot of OU starters, such as Gengar and Yanmega. It won't be TOO much of a problem, but a problem nonetheless.
Cin
That sucks. Hypnosis was great for Pokemon catching hunts. (Used to use it alot on Colo to catch Shadow Pokemon). It does make the Hypnosis/Dream Eater (and other associated moves) combo a little harder I guess.
Dark
And considering that most leads have Focus Sashes, trying to put a Wide Lends to up Hypnosis' accuracy would be tough. Which means the only sleep inducing moves we can rely on is Dark Void [Darkrai, exclusive] and Spore, which can only be learned by a few. Although, the other updates from DP make Hypnosis seem like a stupid thing to complain about. But it will hurt in many OU battles.
Felix
I don't see why, when Spore is still 100. It's accuracy wasn't great any way so why change it back to awefull.
Dark
I can see most OU battlers hacking using Pokesav to get an illegal Spore on their leads.

Zeroshot
does anybody know when it will be out the the EU Hasn't been announced yet.Just order the American version.American version? That hasn't been released yet. It releases on March 22' date=' 2009.[/quote'] Your not very smart, are you? The best thing about Plat will be (for us competitie fokes) the new moves open to Pokemon. Also, the way to catch Dialga and Palkia: -obtain National Dex-Find orbs in Mt. Coronet-Return to Spear Pillar-They are at Lv. 70 I find this stupid. They should be available before the dex, at Lv. 47 so it has some corrispondment with the previous games. Cin
Its not that stupid, infact its very similar to how Emerald is set, if not a tad more farfetched Remember Emerald is beat E4 to get them, usually in DP by the time you've beat the E4 you can grab the National Dex, so its not massively different. Cin
Well I guess that makes sense since you previously saw the legendary you couldn't get. So its not hugely out of the way just means flying around which takes what 5 seconds from where the E4 dumps you back home. If they made you have to catch it that would be evil, I tried hard enough to get my friend (when my WiFi worked) to let Diamond borrow his Manaphy to breed. Yes Giratina's 'new' form is smexy. Zexaeon
=/ That WOULD be evil. Manaphy was difficult to come by -.-;; ((zomg hi Rosy xD M'back)) So I just saw the screenshots for the Reverse World like...I dunno, a week ago. Anydangway, I'm trippin'. xD Walking on walls. Weeeee. Also they seemed to go to extra lengths to make Giratina look very creepy (both in game and in the custom art they've released) I mean, her cry already sounds like a hundred screams of anguish, what more do they want? Cin
Serebii rox for info. I stalked it everyday for a month after Platinium came out I'm glad they did the gyms up, they look better. I usually play the run into every trainer game anyway, so hopefully they still have similar numbers of trainers for the fun of it. Fantina's reminds me of a cross between Kogas/Janine's Gym and Brawly's Gym for some reason. O/T HEY AEON.

O/T HEY AEON.[/quote'] Yeah, I was thinking of Brawly when I read that too.I didn't like Eterna City (Gardenia's Gym) to begin with, still don't like it.I thought the Veilstone Gym (Maylen's Gym) was clever in D/P. Not sure about punching bags into obsticals. I'm really looking forward to battling Cheryl/Buck/Marley/Mira and Riley. The only reletively challenging people in the game are the Gym Leaders and your rival after the Pokemon League. The Leaders are easy to beat because you know what to use Examples:Roark: Best type choices are Water/GrassGardenia: Fire/IceFantina: Dark/Ghost (Normal would work too)Maylene: PsycicCrasher Wake: Electric/Grass (Excluding his Gyrados)Byron: Fire/GrassCandice: FireVolkner: Ground Now these 5 trainers have random pokemon of different levels, so they might actually put up a fight. What I found out today about Darkrai is dissappointing. You see, in previous games I would use the Walk Through Walls AR cheat to get to him. In this game, when you go to the Island you must have the Membership Pass, otherwise Darkrai won't be there. I'm assuming the same thing is set for Shaymin.
