Sesshomaru, getting ready to quietly charge into the unguarded base, readied his claws to do some heavy damage. Sesshomaru then stopped in his tracks. I sense the power that I have long needed to achieve my goals, the tetsaiga can shatter through dimensional barriers. If that power is achieved I will be able to go to the Metazone, where I hope to elevate my plans even further... Sesshomaru thought dropping his claws, and turning his back on the mysterious base. "Your safe, for now..." He threatened and then flew away on some sort of sparkling dust cloud...

OoC: You mean, Base Omega? That place is off limits at the moment, and you still haven't explained how the heck your character managed to enter Metazone 1238, which Base Omega is in.

Sesshomaru, riding on his sparking cloud of energy dust, was now landing in the center of a city that seemed to be futuristically evolved. This city seems to have a collaboration of lights and odd structural abnormalities. Sesshomaru thought as he entered the city. A sign on the entrance to city could be read as "Sentinel III-The City That Never Was..."

@omega21109: You can't really enter Metazone 1238 like a portal, since, (I repeat) it's one of the most isolated dimensions out there and nobody except maybe a select group of people have even heard of it before. (I'll post my RPing post later)

OoC: Yes. However, it is implied that Metazone I is the most important, as it comes in two parts, and Armageddon would have been able to destroy the universe by destroying only Metazone I.

The enormous armored creature had bellowed out its challenge to the considerably smaller dragon down below. The responding roar, however, was just as loud, as Bowser began melting one of its metal guard plates.

 

The beast only desisted once it realized how familiar the thing's scales were. Jumping back, it decided it would settle for the destruction of the fiend's armor.

 

Until the Dragoon arrived. The screaming mass of fire and metal tore straight through the exposed ankle of the enormous Giga Bowser, whose roar of pain rent the air as the divine Star split into its trademark pieces. The beast nearly fell over from the imbalance, but it managed to support itself on four legs. Crawling menacingly, it unleashed a torrent of fire on the first thing it saw — but the blue blurs were far too quick for it. Only the normal Bowser recognized the paradox; he began to back away.

 

The first Sonic, who seemed closer to navy than the cobalt of Bowser's comrade, was armed with some kind of energy rope. He trussed up the legs of the beast as if it were an AT-AT; recognizing its immobility, the beast lowered its head to try and bite its confines.

 

That's when the second Sonic — the one that Bowser recognized — had acted, Spindashing around the creature's now-exposed neck in Epsilon grade. A miniature tornado was forming as the stable cylinder around the Giga Bowser's neck was slowly affected by the imbalance in pressure. A well-timed claw strike from a bloodthirsty Bowser decapitated the enormous beast, which crashed down and destroyed what little had remained against its onslaught.

 

"..." The lighter Sonic was glaring at the remains of the armored attacker. He murmured a few words, then kicked at the beast's neck. Realizing what he wanted, and eager to have some food, Bowser began clawing at the dragon's horns; soon, he was feasting on the head of the beast as the two hedgehogs examined the armor of the fiend.

 

OoC: Hope I wasn't OP'd there. I figure two Sonics, Bowser, and a Dragoon strike were enough to bring it down, especially if it were immobilized à la AT-ATs. I also assumed that experiment-Sonic would have a bunch of equipment to take those things down, hence the energy rope. I figure experiment-Sonic looks like Sonic's second Brawl costume.

OoC: It's all right. You are currently on the For Order and Justice, after the battle with the Cthonian Giga Bowser, am I correct?

 

IC:

 

The Cthonian fleet was larger than expected. Numbering about fifty strong for just one ship the large vulture shaped Wraith-class warships battered the large and powerful Halberd like a swarm of ants attacking a tarantula. Of course after the initial assault the For Order and Justice replied with all the force and ferocity rivaling even the bloodthirsty Cthonian fleet. Turning around to face horizontally at the fleet, delivering a devastating broadside to the enemy ranks followed closely by Platform V-class gunships raining down on the enemy ships. The Cthonians rebutted their efforts by unleashing a devastating wave of gunships and starfighters that with the combined forces of their heavy artillery and soldier's extreme ferocity were slowly overcoming the gallant MetaKnight forces. With the Cthonian plasma blasts blasting open the hull boarding parties were raiding the ship. (one of them included one of their genetic mutations of the late King Bowser's DNA)

 

When the Omega Beam pierced the laboratory killing half of the other scientists (including freeing the experiment-Sonic) Regulus had immediately picked up the near unconscious Jaenniffar and rushed quickly toward the escape pods dodging falling debris and Cthonian boarding parties as he went. Finally he reached the escape pods, quickly throwing Jaeniffarr into it and was about to go in himself when the Giga Bowser showed up. In order to protect her, Regulus ejected Jaeniffarr's escape pod and turned to face the monster. But such actions were unnecessary as the experiment-Sonic and quite strangely... ANOTHER Sonic including what seemed to be an apparition from the dead turned savage make short work of the creature. Not one to ask questions in the heat of battle, Regulus nodded towards Sonic.

 

"We should leave this place. This ship is lost, it would be wise for thee to escape this place. This escape pod bay is destroyed due to your battle. There is another escape pod at the other side of the ship. We must escape now." The MetaKnight scientist then turned to the Yuuzhan Sonic.

 

"Prime Directive updated: Protect me, the other you, and the dragon whilst we escape. Do not stray 12 metres from us and kill any organism that is under File 123405: CTHONIAN. Do you understand?"

 

The experiment hedgehog nodded silently.

 

"Good. Now we shalt take our leave."

Sesshomaru was walking around Sentinel III, and came to a district that was proclaimed an evil district. "Hey you, with the funny clothes. Ya better give us all ya' cash our we is gonna take ya' out!" The four robbers encircled Sesshomaru. These men, don't have the feel as if they have been on this planet for very long... Sesshomaru generated a whip of energy from his hand, he then bobbed and weaved his hand in a way so that the whip would strike all the men at once. The men were all knocked out by Sesshomaru's quick lash of power. In fact, this city itself doesn't seem like it even belongs... Sesshomaru thought as he continued to walk down the back ally.

 

ooc: I don't know why, but my favorite part of this RP is Sesshomaru knocking out those four guys >_>

"Well, that was nice," Sonic muttered as the darker him promptly departed his examination of the Chthonian's armor to follow his new orders. "Whatever. At least we have something to work with. You can take this with us, right?" He aimed his last question at Bowser, who nodded and easily lifted the helmet with one hand.

 

The hedgehog cocked an eyebrow; it was at least as big as Bowser himself. Not questioning the half-dragon's strength, he sped along after his comrades, confident from previous encounters that the Koopa King would be able to keep up by using the Whirling Fortress attack on his jetstream. This was the case here, even as the helmet lolled out behind him, apparently unrestrained.

 

It was time to learn something about this world. He decelerated to match Regulus's speed as he caught up; Bowser was now capable of independent movement if he hugged the ground and... did whatever it was he did to screech along and generate sparks. "Who are you," Sonic demanded immediately, "and who is he?" He gestured at his darker counterpart.

Somehow, she doubted Exodar had been made for something like this. She'd feel much safer aboard, say, Halberd II.

 

So when, amidst a torrent of hostile starships, she spotted an airship exactly resembling the old battleship (save the fact that it was barely intact, and had blank silver plating in place of MetaKnight's helmet on the original), she immediately set a course for it.

 

She doubted her passengers had any objections. Blaze and (infuriatingly at first) the other Link had been aboard Exodar to save space on the Hand, as the unjustly fast little gunship had to be towed back to Base Alpha as well. It was mostly Exodar that had tipped the others off; it had bowled straight into the majority of the group during its fall, leaving only Ganondorf, Bass.exe, Nightmare, and Sephiroth (maybe Auron? she hadn't seen properly) aboard the deity. From there, it was a dizzying one-way route to the odd place they were now, getting fire rained upon them from an armada of some forty-seven space battleships. Most of the starfighters were locked in combat, or so Link J. Xalax had claimed with his Hawkeye, against laser-armed MetaKnight duplicates.

 

Exodar was barely large enough to qualify as a gunship (it looked more like a giant sand skiff from the outside), and its armament was limited to increase its speed, but it was tearing through any starfighter that dared oppose a MetaKnight. This was probably due to the fact that Link J. and Blaze were providing auxiliary fire via fireballs and an enormous variety of arrows, Talim noted shrewdly; the group would do very well to stick together once aboard the failing battleship. They could at least aid in the evacuation, she thought grimly; now that she was closer to the Halberd-esque battleship, it was obvious that their allies were in far more desperate a condition than initial estimates had revealed.

 

OoC: I can see why they're having funding problems. If my calculations are correct, it costs 150.3 million dollars to make one Halberd... and a grand and a half to equip a MetaKnight. O,x

"It seems our time of battle is at hand. Hm, Sir Auron?" Auron didn't say a word to the darkly empowered Sephiroth. "Our time on this particular ship is short, but in away it's truly the longest we have been on it as well..." Auron said ominously as he walked away from Sephiroth to look out the window to the oncomming battlefield. My Meteor spell could do some quick damage here. I haven't had the power to perform Supernova for quite some time. Not since my battle with master hand had ended... Sephiroth thought as he readied himself, and pointed his hand at one of the star ships. "Meteor..." Sephiroth said as a hailstorm of flaming meteors started to pelt the oncomming armada of enemy ships. After activating his impressive Meteor spell Sephiroth dropped to one knee, he wasn't gasping for air but he could feel almost all of his energy had been drained away. I see. The fight with master hand has damaged me enough that can't use my most deadliest attacks without this much repercussion, well played hand.... Sephiroth thought to himself as he tried to stand up, but dropped to one knee again...

 

[iN OTHER PLACES!!!]

 

Sesshomaru had just then found himself on the opposite side of Sentinel III. This city, as they so called it, doesn't seem to very big. I wonder what the origin of this particular city is... When Sesshomaru turned to go back from once he came, he spotted an almost abandoned complex for drinking alcohol, also known as a Bar. This place, for some reason it draws me... Sesshomaru thought, as he entered the establishment. There were just two figures inside the bar, the barkeep himself and another figure who seemed to be drowning his soul in cheap beer. This is a pitiful sight, to see someone waste ones life... Sesshomaru was about to exit, but he didn't. "Not all humans drink to waste there time, we sometimes drink for the sheer fun and pleasure...." The man said sitting in the bar stool.

 

"Tell me then human, why do you drink in particular." Sesshomaru said, his hand still on the door handle and not turning to face the man. "I'm drinking in remembrance to fallen comrades." Sesshomaru didn't look shocked, but he did let go of the door handle. Remembrance of ones own fallen comrades...why would someone drink for such a pitiful reason as that. Sesshomaru was still not facing the man. "Why would you drink for such a dishonorable reason, it was your comrades own fault that they died not yours. If they were truly your comrades they would have been strong enough to keep themselves alive, an..." Suddenly the man was loading a peculiar looking gun. "You son of bitc*!" He shouted as he shot a shell out of the gun marked #14. Sesshomaru dodged the shell, but as soon as it hit the wall it exploded into a huge ball of flame that not only blew out the wall but hit Sesshomaru to. Unfortunately for the man Sesshomaru blocked most of the flames with the sheath of his Tenseiga. How could a human posses this much power, and that fire could easily be classified as a magical ability. This one's strange, he may be useful to me in my conquest. However, I would never side with a pathetic human... "Your son of a bitc*, don't ever speak of my comrades in that light!" The human said sitting back in the stool angrily and forcefully. He then downed the large bottle of alcohol that he had purchased...

With his bat-like wings outstretched as he manipulated them to take to the cosmic currents that breached out of the holes in the hull Regulus was gliding along at an extraordinary speed with Sonic Yuuzhan briskly keeping up with him. Suddenly a party of Lancers burst open a door from Regulus' side and began attacking the duo with their sharp, long armored lances. Quickly the experiment-Sonic grabbed onto one of the lances and due to his great strength turned it on the thin armored lycan, impaling it. Turning to the rest who were managing a sneak attack from behind Jaspar Yuuzhan procured a sonic detonator and in a blur attached it to the one in the middle of the party. Rushing quickly ahead an explosion detonated on the Lancer's head killing it and it's comrades.

 

Turning around Regulus could see the second Sonic following at a faster pace than the experimental-sonic (mostly because Yuuzhan Sonic was on orders to stay no more than 12 metres away from them) and the seemingly zombified Bowser falling along whirling it's hardened spiky shell. Soon, the second Sonic had catched up to him and was running along beside him at a much faster pace. It was then that he inquired:

 

"Who are you, and who is he?" The second Sonic demanded, immediately gesturing to him and the Yuuzhan Sonic.

 

A little taken back, Regulus curtly replied: "I wast about to ask thee the same question." he turned his head to the blue Sonic. "The Yuuzhan Weapon wast based on no sentient being, by all rights you shouldn't exist... well not in this universe." he muttered darkly at the end of his sentence. He then looked behind him at Bowser. "And by all rights, he should be dead. He was... assassinated years ago." Regulus then let out a slight cough. "How about a deal? I tell thee who we are, and you tell I who you are."

The thundering chaos of the space battlefield was slowly overcoming the courageous MetaKnights, even with the help of what some younger MetaKnights explained was the Goddess Hzakarat, Goddess of Fire and Kyon, the Vengeful Wind assisted them in their battle against the enemy. It will not last. While the Exodar was going across the top of a ship, a large group of Cthonian probes suddenly dispatched itself from a nearby starfighter and landed on the ship. Surrounding Link and Blaze the Probes quickly fired their lasers in an attempt to eliminate them, while three smaller Probes crept along the bottom of the ship.

 

OoC: Probes look like Chameleon droids from Star Wars except their smaller and black. Also, a little off-topic, but wouldn't it be fun to put classes on all the characters here? And FFR, you can have Inuyasha. And... Auron and Sephiroth are in Metazone I, remember? So they aren't really in this role play, they'll be in Armageddon II.

Well, that wasn't good.

 

Sephiroth was here, and for all of his power, he was a pitifully imprecise fighter. Exodar had been hit full-on by a Meteor strike en route to the Halberd clone, and... well, it was amazing its passengers were still alive.

 

Blaze was even conscious, keeping her allies out of the flames and successfully crashing the ruined gunship through one of the thin camera panes on the wall of For Order and Justice. Unfortunately, that set off a massive explosion, as the cat had taken advantage of one of the weapons coordination depots, which also contained the plasma that fed the twenty-four enormous cannons lining the ship.

The half-dragon raised no objection.

 

Sonic was interrupted as an enormous explosion rocked the ship around him. The ceiling crashed down in front of the team; the "Yuuhzan Experiment" quickly used its Blue Tornado attack to keep most of the debris off the team, while Bowser took care of the rest. The fact remained, however, that there was now a huge gaping hole in the middle of the floor, and only a few pieces of no-doubt unstable debris bridged the gap.
