Plot: In the isolated dimensional nexus of Metazone 1238 there is nothing that exists except death, fear and lies to the few surviving sentient beings living there. Originally a peaceful utopia the residents of this new found Deadworld were decimated in a cataclysmic, never ending war with the Cthonians, a race of armored lycan like hybrids who's whole society, politics and organization is based entirely on violence and destruction of others. Casualties in this war include heroes Mario Rossini and brother Luigi Rossini who died helping refugees evacuate the war torn Gamera City, the peace loving ruler of Koopazone Bowser Kooparazki who stood fast and never surrendered until the very end, Link Xalax who fought the Battle of Hyrule Temple until the end, and the names go on and on. The forces of the Cthonians and the local Metazonians have been balanced for the centuries of conflict: but now the tide is turning. The Metazonians are holding there ground but they are becoming weary after hundreds of years of war and weakening. Soon the Cthonians will conquer all of this Deadworld. But help comes from the most strangest of places. On Earth the party of Lord Davok, Master Hand, , Talim, Link J. Xalax, Ganondorf, Nightmare, Bass.exe, Blaze, Sephiroth, Auron, Cloud Strife, Darth Maul and Master Chief have stopped the evil immortal Zasalamel and the titan Armageddon from destroying the Multiverse and with the trouble over Master Hand agreed to transport the heroes back to Metazone 1. But, en route a freak dimensional flux knocked the heroes off of Master Hand's... er... hand and send them flying through Limbo landing them right splat dab in the middle of Metazone 1238. Now they are in a struggle against the Cthonian super soldiers, the elements, and even themselves. But not everything is what they seem to be. They may be puppets in a larger game, but who's pulling the strings? Apply now for an action packed, in depth role play with more twists and turns than a merry go round!

 

Okay, now you can select any SSB, Soul Calibur, Halo, Final Fantasy or Star Wars that you wish and since I don't want this role play to die I'm not going to be so strict on the applications. Just try your best with this one, okay?

• Dr. Simon "Donkey Kong" Kongsley: Famous and most brilliant scientist in all of Metazone 1238. Tried to create a formula to create Metazonian super soldiers and tested it on himself. Turned him into an ape and is now in hiding in the jungle.
  
• Darius "Diddy Kong" Kongsley: Nine year old son of Dr. Simon Kongsley who drank the formula in Kongsley's lab mistaking it for lemonade. Now is the youngest freedom fighter in Metazone 1238.
  
• Paula "Peach" Rossini: Widow of Mario Rossini and Secretary to the Official Trophy Zone 2 Military Bureau(OTZ2MB) former zoologist and met Mario under the alias of "Jumpman" when she was kidnapped by one of the zoo's gorillas(the original Donkey Kong).
  
• Bowser Kooparazki: Peace loving ruler of Koopazone and pacifist politician. Assassinated by Wolf O'Donnel.
  
• Yoshi: An extinct race of multicoloured dinosaurs that got the brunt of the Cthonian invasion.
  
• Olander "Wario" Warioni: Infamous moneylender and plumbing entrepeneur. President and CEO of WarioPipeworks and rival of RossiniPipeworks. Does a lot of shady deals and would do anything for money; rumour has it that he arranged the Cthonian ambush that killed off his two competitors.
  
• Her Majesty Queen Zelda Uzuarazkof IV: Originally queen of Hyrzone she expanded her influence by bringing together a senate for all the zones in Metazone. Assasinated during the Battle of Hyrule Temple.
  
• Turner "Toon Link" Linksys: Son of George Linksys, President of the famous LinksysLabs. Friend of Darius Konglsey and is his constant companion. Likes to mimic the deceased Link Xalax.
  
• Sir Ganondorf Tyramroto: Captain of Queen Zelda's Imperial Guard and expert tactician. Unfortunately he is a coward and fled during the Battle of Hyrule Temple. Currently is Wario's bodyguard.
  
• Samus Ariel Aran: One of Queen Zelda's ladies in waiting until the Battle of Hyrule Temple in where she survived by playing dead as she watched the other ladies in waiting get murdered in front of her eyes. She was thought to be dead until she was seen fighting Cthonian forces at the Battle of Gamera City with a Mk. VI Chozo warsuit on with a few upgrades. Swore to kill all Cthonians.
  
• Prince Raymond "Pit" Pittsworth: Son of the extremely wealthy Pittsworth family in Skyzone. Pampered in childhood until his mansion was attacked by Cthonian soldiers in the Battle of Heaven's Gate. Was found by a religious sect of monks who worship the Goddess Palutena. Is extremely religious and beleives himself to be the Goddess' Champion who must drive the Cthonians out of Metazone 1238.
  
• Yogu and Irutr Jefferson "The Ice Climbers": Two of the most expert Terrestrial explorers in all of Metazone 1238. Both are President(Irutr) and CEO(Yogu) of JeffersonExplore Corporations and funders of the refugee movement up the Icezone Mountains.
  
• R.O.B.: Patented test and security robots manufactured by LinksysLabs that were all destroyed during the destruction of the lab in the Battle of Gamera City. One however survived and wanders the world attacking Cthonians and Metazonians alike.
  
• Dzert "Kirby" Alzorkzyyth: Born to the honourable Universal Protectorate Order of MetaKnights (UPOMK) Kirby was a juvenile delinquent who refused to accept the teachings of the MetaKnight Order. So in punishment for his rebelliousness the MetaKnights cast Kirby out to space on a warpstar where he landed on Metazone 1238. Currently is spiking the resistance movement.
  
• Orro "MetaKnight" Halibanar: A mutant creation of the mad scientist Dr. Gamerwotch Orro was originally the kidnapped baby of Pietro and Kira Halibanar. Defeated Dr. Gamerwotch and took up the name of "MetaKnight" (unknowing of the Order) to fight the Cthonian invasion and fight for justice.
  
• Baron Descrit Demanar Deyaro "DeDeDe": Pampered son of the deceased Baron Juron Justi Jastar (JuJuJu) ruler and just Baron of Dreamzone. DeDeDe is a greedy horrible leader who coops himself up in his castle. Sworn enemy of Kirby.
  
• Captain Kevin James Olimar: Born to two hardworking farmers in Trophy Zone 2 Kevin Olimar suffered completly halted growth at the age of 3. Made fun of as a child for his shortness and baby like appearance, Olimar invented the Hococate freighter which will allow him to explore deep space. Sponsored by RossiniPipeworks and Xalax Wartime Enterprises Olimar set off to explore deep space. Current whereabouts unknown.
  
• Kazht Joaulore (alias "Fox McCloud"): Born to two Yarrow(a race of anthropomorphic weasel fox hyrbids) villagers in Corneria National Park, Kazht was adept at survival skills, aiming, fighting and boxing. Only rivalled by his constant childhood companion Wortf Iroaywert Kazht (nicknamed "Fox" by his friends) formed the mercenary group Star Fox Mercenary Corps, funded by Xalax Wartime Enterprises. Great contributor to the Cthonian defeat in the Battle of Corneria City.
  
• Wortf Iroaywert (alias "Wolf O'Donnel"): Born to two Yarrow villagers. Childhood companion of Fox McCloud yet way more reckless than him. Was kidnapped by Cthonian soldiers and he willingly let them train him to be their most deadly assassin. Sworn enemy of Fox. Assassin of Bowser.
  
• Falco Lombardi: A convict from Gamera Peninterary tested on in LinksysLabs for the beta of Dr. Kongsley's super soldier formula. Transformed him into a humanoid falcon. A member of Star Fox Mercenary Corps.
  
• Captain Roosevelt Kansas Falcon: Former racing celebrity turned war hero and captain of the Falcon Brigade. Killed in the Battle of Heaven's Gate. His daughter, Opal Falcon took over leadership of the Falcon Brigade.
  
• Pikachu: Thought to have been an extinct species, one lone pikachu was found by Samus Aran. The two are constant companions.
  
• Jaeniffarr "Jigglypuff" Tethysoral: Secretary to the Universal Protectorate Order of MetaKnights. In love with Kirby.
  
• King Marth Uzuarazkof II: Son of Queen Zelda, Marth is the youngest king ever to reign in Metazone 1238 at the age of 18. Currently is being protected in the headquarters of Xalax Wartime Enterprises.
  
• Prince Ike Uzuarazkof: The rebellious brother of Marth, Ike Uzuakarof eloped with a young woman at the age of 16, breaking up with her soon afterwards. Not allowed in the royal household again, Ike wandered the world as a mercenary and met up with Kirby, with whom he related to and is constant friends with.
  
• General Ness Reanol: An extremely brilliant tactician and general in His Majesty King Marth's Army, Ness is responsible for many victories against the Cthonians. Is a powerful psychic.
  
• Private Lucas Kiuola: A soldier in His Majesty King Marth's Army, Lucas is a veteran of hundreds of conflicts yet strangely has never been promoted. Currently enrolled in the SpecOps Training Program.
  
• Dr. Harley Gamewotch (nicknamed "Mr. Game/Watch"): A short man, Dr. Gamewotch of Gamewotch Industries performed excruciatingly painful experiments on many living sentient specimens in order for him to achieve immortality. Defeated by one of his own creations, MetaKnight, Gamewotch stepped into the path of one of his own rays and was transported to a 2D world. Current location unknown.
  
• Colonel Solidus Quartz Snake: A veteran member of the legendary SpecOps team, Snake has infliltrated and sabotaged more Cthonian strongholds than there are grains of hand on a beach. Currently head of the SpecOps Training Program and mentor of Lucas.
  
• Jaspar "Sonic" Yuuzhan: Born from a test tube, Jaspar Yuuzhan (aka "Sonic the Hedgehog") is a genetic experiment by the UPOMK in order to create a new way to destroy evil. Sent to Metazone 1238 as a test drive, Sonic is beginning to evolve independence.
  
• Captain Roy Irukar: Captain of His Majesty King Marth's Imperial Guard and replacement for Ganondorf. Very loyal.
  
• Professor Regulus Anikarbat: Head of the MetaKnight Intense Research Division(MKIRD) and friend of Jigglypuff. Creator of Sonic.

On that note, I like what I did with Blaze in Eclipse I, and I think we've left Sonic cursing the dimensional boundaries long enough to let him into the action for the first time since he rescued Midna from Sephiroth. Then one more chara. I'd do Darth Vader, but FFR (or, if we want to be excessively nostalgic, ff7r) has already developed him as quite a different character than my interpretation would allow. I'd take one of my traitorous trio (ooh, merchandisable alliteration!), but it might be possible to start a spinoff with them, so I might as well dump them in Metazone 1 where they're supposed to be. With all that said and done, Bowser's interpretations was one of my favorite — not a sentient fighter, but a mighty, half-dragon beast of extraordinary power and incomparable belligerence. OoC: It's amazing this has become a tradition. And plot = fun, else I wouldn't have joined this.

They didn't know their pursuers were there. They thought they had left Armageddon behind in Metazone 1, the real Metazone. If only they'd known there were pursuers in the limbo between Metazone, maybe he wouldn't be hurtling along through

 

OPkMn4X, the hideous flying fish, was whistling along behind him, nearly quickly enough to catch up thanks to its TM05 move. Fortunately, though, Sonic had been easily able to dodge most of its flying Bone Clubs, and when it did hit, its damage was minimal.

 

Sonic careened off to the left to avoid a devastating Aurora Beam from c. Though the flying orb was immensely frail, its long-range power was devastating; even a singe had burned off several of Sonic's spines, which were at this point harder than steel. That kind of raw power was completely unheard of.

 

Luckily, he was almost there...

 

If only he could go a bit farther...

 

And suddenly, he did. In an instant, he was flying towards the ground towards a group of almost entirely unfamiliar people. Instinctually, he entered ball form, sharpened his quills, and prayed the ground was soft.

Blacking out was a notion currently unheard of to Lord Davok. His endurance and stamina were heightened along with his immortality and nothing so far, not even the power of Armageddon could knock him unconscious. So when the Master of Villains reached out of the inky blackness of unconsciousness and slowly surveyed his surroundings.

 

He was in a dusty ruined street with mountains of discarded rubble and debris stacked at either side of the cracked and filthy road. A broken car lay on it's side between the sidewalk and road with it's window glass scattered across the destroyed pavement. This occurrence seemed to happen at normal intervals further down the street. But what most Davok noticed was the bones.

 

There were heaps and stacks of rotting dead skeletons and carcasses, piled into a jumbling mess on random places: in the center of the street, on the sidewalk, even in the ruined buildings. Flies and carrion swarmed the bone piles attempting to pick off the last of the meat. A massacre had happened here, and the Master of Villains knew it. The first course of action was for reconnaissance and see if any of his reluctant comrades survived. One thing that Davok was sure: We aren't in Metazone anymore.

Xalax Wartime Enterprises Headquarters, Base Omega, 1300 hours

 

"Where the hell is he?" demanded a light young carefree voice from behind the hard steel door that led into the main meeting center of the teleport depot turned weapons manufacturing headquarters known as Base Omega.

 

A more calmer but stern voice replied casually to the demanding figure.

 

"He will be here. If he says that he will be here he will be here."

 

"But he's late! He's never late!" Retorted the angry one.

 

On the other side of the door in a light blue meeting room with an empty oval shaped meeting table with twelve chairs. In the direct center of the table was a holographic projection showing a crossbones symbol of a globe with a sword and a gun inter crossing it in an X formation. Under the globe the shining letters showed: "XALAX WARTIME ENTERPRISES".

 

The two conversing figures were standing at the bottom of the table. The first figure on the left side wore a sharp two piece suit with a plain green tie. The figure's hair was smoothly combed with bangs smoothly overhanging his calculating oval light blue eyes. His eyes were long and pointy like an elf's with smart pants and dress shoes. He was Link Jysgarren Xalax, President and CEO of Xalax Wartime Enterprises.

 

The more impatient figure on the right was a more relaxed sort of figure: His dark blue hair was hidden directly at the bottom by a white head band going across his head and above his blue eyes. He wore a light red worn out tunic for a shirt with a dark brown eloquent cape tied around his neck. He has brown leather pants and shoes that put it roughly that the figure did not care how he looked. Also he cradled a metre long golden sword on his shoulder, maximizing the even. This was Prince Ike Uzuarazkof.

 

"His Majesty is obviously very busy, Ike." Link replied to Ike. "Refugee operations up the Icezone Mountains have ground to a halt thanks to the recent weather formations. The funding's hard, I should know."

 

Ike let out an impatient sigh as he banged his fist on the table.

 

"But we've been waiting here for hours! He should come by now-"

 

The former Prince's words were cut short by the sudden opening of the steel door and the arrival of an eighteen year old boy along two armoured guards.

 

The boy had a look of purpose on his face as he quickly surveyed the surroundings and stepped forward, shaking Link's hand along with (though quite reluctantly) the hand of his brother. The boy had dark blue hair like Ike's yet not as cut back as his. He had wavy bangs going across his eyes with a white band going upwards across his hair. He wore a blue shirt with blue shoulderpads going across it combined with a blue cloak. All of this was laced with gold.

 

"Well, gentlemen, I believe that we should begin the meeting." King Marth Uzuarazkof pronounced in a regal tone.

 

Link nodded and gestured at Ike. "Tell him what you saw."

 

Ike nodded. "Well, I was scouring the outskirts of Gamera City to spy out any lone Cthonian patrols but instead in what I believe... Coordinates Y2N3 I spotted a group of oddly dressed figures lying there. Now I don't know who they are, but if they run into a Cthonian patrol there dead meat."

 

Marth took this all in and nodded, and looked to Link. "What do you propose?"

 

"I think that we should take a recon team and attempt to make contact with said individuals. If they're friendly, we take them to Base Omega. If hostile, we'll leave them to the Cthonians."

 

Marth took a silent nod and looked toward one of his guards.

 

"You will lead this expedition, Captain Irukar?"

 

The guard nodded. "Yes, your Majesty."

 

Ike glared at Marth, speechless. "What- I thought I was going to-"

 

Link halted him with a warning glare and stood up. "It shall be done, Your Majesty." And bowed and left the room.

 

Still staring hard at Marth, Ike left the room, also.

He went by many of names. The New Demon King, Lord of Hell and Torment, and other evil titles that he did not want to have. However, the name that many demons and humans have come to fear and some love is, Sesshomaru. His power was far greater then any normal old evil, his ideals and his reasons for doing what he does were completely unfounded and he always has the power to back up his gestures.

 

Sesshomaru smirked as he stood outside the base that he was soon to infiltrate. "This base will not in my way, not for long that is..." Sesshomaru said as he walked slowly towards the base with a dark and cold presence that surrounded him anywhere he went and rubbed off on all people...

Naruto watched over Konoha proudly. He had finally become the Sixth Hokage. He watched the people run through the village, the shinobi going out on their missions. It was peaceful. He awaited the arrival of his and Sakura's child to come.

 

Shikamaru entered into his office. "Naruto-sama, a word from Lucario."

 

"Lucario?" Naruto repeated. He had only recently become acquainted to the mysterious canine-like creature. He had spoken of a mysterious realm known as the Metazone. Lucario promised that he would speak with Naruto again once danger from the Metazone arose.

 

Naruto turned to face outside the Hokage office. There stood Lucario, meditating in midair.

 

"Naruto Uzumaki. You must come with me." No one in the room except for Naruto seemed to hear.

Roxas was sent on a mission from Xemnas to explore the Metazone. The others were off on different missions, leaving Roxas alone. It would have been nice to receive back-up though.

 

The ground began to shake, prompting Roxas to take out his Keyblades. In front of him stood a man dressed in black leather with a cap.

Also, to omega21109. good luck being able to get to Metazone 1238. It's one of the isolated Metazones in the Multiverse. Your post was pretty good, by the way. A tip for you, also: Put a mental image in your head of the scene before you and just describe what you see. It works for me. :D

Inky blackness only illuminated by millions of tiny stars flickering like lanterns in the moonlight surrounding the Halberd-class ship For Order and Justice, the third largest ship in the Supreme Protectorate Order of MetaKnights impressive 233 Halberd fleet. Cannons bristled from it's dark metal sides below it's large oval shaped outer deck. In the middle of the deck was a large circular platform with a turret like arm coiled like a spring. Surrounding it was a wide menagerie of aerodynamic bat wings that constantly fluxed from down to the side to up, furling it's 'sails' to pick up the cosmic currents. The bridge was at the front of the ship with a round grey mask- The symbol of the Protectorate.

 

Beyond a heavy metal door in the center of the ship lay a hallway bustling with large capsules containing bubbling green liquid. Around it bustled round spherical creatures wearing the grey round mask of a MetaKnight. They each had billowing white capes with silver shoulder pads. All the capsules were currently empty- except one.

 

Sitting in a comatose state in the central, larger capsule was a creature like a hedgehog. He had a yellow circle around his chest with thin, padded arms below his short shoulders. His head was almost larger than his body with wide blue eyes with spines sticking out of the back of his head. Two figures were observing him.

 

Both had the same spherical body of the rest of their species: The one on the left was a colour of bright pink with a small patch of hair on the top of her head formed into a curl. She had bright eyes.

 

Her companion wore the same mask as the rest- expect his mask had golden stripes going down from the top of it into his eyes. He had the same white coat as the rest of the MetaKnights in the laboratory.

 

These two figures are Jaeniffarr Tethysoral, Secretary of State for the Universal Protectorate Order of MetaKnights (friends call her "Jigglypuff") and Professor Regulus Anikarbat, Head of the MetaKnight Intense Research Division (MKIRD) often nicknamed "Kirds". Jaeniffarr paused for a moment before turning to Regulus.

"We shalt reach Metazone in about two standard levels, ma'am." replied Regulus in the soothing and poetic voice of most male MetaKnights, never moving his eyes from the figure sleeping in the capsule.

 

Jaeniffar moved her body up and down in a nod like movement to show that she understood. Then her eyes moved back to the figure in the capsule.

 

"Where will we release him?" she inquired.

 

Regulus responded in a matter-of-fact tone, still transfixed on the blue figure. "Most probably in the middle of a Cthonian patrol." he responded. "We shouldst leteth it show whatst he is up against."

 

Jaeniffar shuddered as she heard the word "it". She was about to leave the laboratory when her entire world burst into flames, screams and alarm bells. The last thing she remembered was the ring of alarm bells, the calls to arms, cries of "Cthonian fleet dead ahead!", "To thy battle stations!" and screams of death, an giant armored creature towering above her, jumping into an escape pod, then all was blackness.
