It's not just a battle for turf, it's a battle for life. And so far, it's a losing battle.

The Duel Gang must have more than 2 members.

The Duel Gang must have been contacted and registered by a member of the Underworld(Underworld=A criminal organisation working under the noses of the Government. They control the Duel Gangs, and they will only reveal themselves to those with potential.).

The Duel Gang must own at least Duel Runner.

Each member of the Duel Gang must each own a Deck and a Duel Disk.

Each Duel Gang must have a name, and a symbol.

To win turf, Duel Gangs duel each other. The current owner of the turf (Turf=an area of space, located in either the North, West or East) cannot decline 2 Duel Requests in a row. The loser of the Duel Gang hands over their turf and hands over a random card in their deck.

[spoiler=Fanfic Storyline So Far[spoilerS]]

The fan-fic is based around the time of 5ds. Duel Gangs have gone to the extreme in the state of Jerai. Duel Gangs exist at the Northern, Western and Eastern parts of the state. The Political area, the South, fear Duel Gangs will manifest there.

Jerry and Max Tur established a Duel Gang, along with friend Tom Hillifiger. However, after capturing their first turf, they lose a duel to a mysterious figure. They are presumed dead.

A week later, Jerry and Max are confirmed to be missing. Their parents are shocked. They make a TV plea.

Zen owns a garage in the Southern area, fixing Duel Runners. He is met by a friend, Ellis Baker, who's Duel Runner is broken. A conversation starts about the picture on the wall, showing Zen and another man, arm in arm, laughing. Zen does not wish to talk about this. Ellis, being a member of the Underworld, once again requests Zen to start a Duel Gang. Zen declines. They then agree on a Duel.

 

 

 

 

 

 

[spoiler=[b]Chapter 1: The Start Of The Search[/b]]

"Alright! Another piece of turf!"

Jerry Tur marked off the area from his map. Recently, his duel gang had managed to take over a small turf in the Western area. Now they were at their new hideout, a small base, checking out the details and the card given to them by the former owner.

"It's all confirmed..." murmured Max Tur, his brother. He was checking the programme given to him by his best friend, a member of the Underworld. "The Underworld has marked our symbol on this part. Sorry to break your heart, bro, but it's pretty small."

"Always looking on the down side, huh Max?" replied Jerry cheerily. "Well look at this card that they gave us! It's Rare!"

Suddenly the doors of the garage flung open, to reveal a figure. He was concealed by the evening darkness.

"Tom! You're back!" shouted Jerry "Phew, now we ca..."

He paused. As the figure walked in, Jerry recognised that he was not Tom. His eyes were concealed by a black hoodie. His mouth was twisted into an evil smirk.

"You will accept my Black Duel." growled the figure. Suddenly, he produced a Duel Disk from his hand. A jet of black electricity shot from his Disk into both Max and Jerry's Duel Disks.

"What was that? What have you done?!" demanded Max.

"Life Points will be inflicted as damage to our own lives. The loser of the Duel not only loses the duel, but loses their life. Normal DG rules apply." said the hooded man.

"I don't think we want to accept..."

"You cannot quit now. If you quit, you will die by my Dark Powers"

"Dark Powers?"

"We accept" Jerry stepped in. "If we win, normal DG prize rules apply."

"You both share LP. I am alone. Duel!"

Max And Jerry= 4000

"Here I Go, Draw!" Jerry shouted. I Set a Monster card! And play 2 cards face down in my Spell/Trap zone!"

"A pitiful move. Now things will get real."

 

A few turns later

'NOOOOOOOOO!' screamed Max, as the pain of the direct attack decreased his Life Points.

Max and Jerry=700

???=3800

"Max! Max, please get up!" screamed Jerry. He was on the verge of tears.

"Next, my Trap Card: Final Blow! You lose 1000 Life Points when I tribute a monster! I tribute Matzoh, The Crown!"

This time, both of them felt the pain. Max fell instantly, Jerry was struggling to stay upright.

"Well well, I'll take your card, your turf and YOU." sneered the man, as Jerry collapsed. "But this is not enough for my army. I will pay him for what he did. I will get more recruits, and unleash the power to destroy him! He will feel the pain I felt! Dark Ones! Take these bodies!"

 

A voice from outside

"Just as we feared, Light Ones. The Dark Ones, like us, have reincarnated in Spirit form. They have taken over the mind of a human being, who plans to release the Darkness again. We have won twice, we cannot let this happen again. We must also find warriors."

 

 

[spoiler=[b]Chapter 2: An unexpected visitor[/b]]

"Please, Please find our children!"

"Mr and Mrs Tur, where did you last see your children?"

"We have not seen our sons in many years. They got caught up with the Duel Gangs. I warned them, but they figured it was time for them to go."

"This is a Missing People Appeal. If any of you have seen Max and Jerry Tur, or know any information, then please contact us on 0723..."

Zen turned off the TV, and resumed working on his D wheel. He was working as usual, in his garage. The garage was completely lifeless, with tools and machines surrounding Zen. The only thing that stood out was a photo of Zen and another, older, man.

There was a knock at the garage door. Zen brushed his hair from his face and looked up.

"Enter."

The garage door slowly lifted to reveal a tough teenager. He had a sleeveless top, with muscles and tattoos.

"Zen, my man! How ya doing?" boomed the teenager, approaching.

"Ellis. What happened this time?" asked Zen. Ellis was a regular customer, getting his Duel Runner into all sorts of states.

"Ya know, Zen. There was a big crash and all, and it's been underperformin' since. Fix it up, will ya? Good. Now just the charge, isn't it?"

"I don't want to charge you for this, Ellis. It's a simple operation, looking at it. Come back in a few days, it should be done."

"Bless, Zune. You're one of the only honest one of them. The other garages would charge me 400, and then do a lame job. I know I'll get the quality from you, init?"

"Thank you, Ellis."

"Trust, bruv. He would be proud, I tell you he would."

Ellis was pointing at the man next to Zen in the photo. The photo appeared to be on a seaside, with Zen and the man both arm in arm, laughing.

Zen was silent for a while.

"A few days, that's all. Fixed up in a few days" replied Zen.

"You know I ain't come here just for the Wheel. I want to invite you again, ya know." said Ellis, leaning on his Duel Runner.

"Ellis, I keep telling you, I'm not interested."

"Being a member of a Duel Gang's full of surprises!"

"I was surprised enough when you told me you were part of the Underworld."

Ellis laughed.

"Is always the people ya least expect, init" grinned Ellis. He had been in the Underworld for 4 years, and was in one of the highest positions. "Well, then, how bout an innocent duel. You n me!"

Zen smiled."Bring it on, then."

He raised his arm. On it was a large metal ring.

"Magnitude, on!" he commanded.

His Duel Disk, which was previously behind the garage, entered through the door and attached itself onto the ring on his arm.

"Full'a tricks, ain't ya" laughed Ellis. He produced his own Duel Disk.

Both of them shouted simultaneously, "DUEL"

"Hosts first! Hehe!" snickered Ellis "Show me some love, I summon Creeping Jaguar"

During the Battle Phase, you can destroy all Defence position monsters on your opponent's side of the field. During the End Phase of a turn you used this effect, destroy this card.

 

 

"That'll halfta do" he said, smirking.

"Right then, it's my move!" Zen drew a card. It glinted in the light. "I summon The Trapcaster"

"I play 2 cards face down, and enter the Battle Phase!" Zen said. "The Trapcaster! Attack Creeping Jaguar! Spell Banish Hex!"

Ellis watched his card being destroyed. He did not flinch, however.

"Next, I activate my Trap Card! Combo Hit!

[spoiler=Combo Hit]

Activate only after you have made an attack, and there are no more monsters on your side of the field to declare an attack with. Discard 1 card in your hand and select one monster on the field. This monster may attack again this turn. If the card you discarded from your hand was a monster, remove it from play to inflict half it's ATK to your opponent's Life Points

 

 

"By discarding a card from my hand, The Trapcaster can attack again! And if I discard a monster, you lose half it's ATK power if I remove it from play. Direct Attack! Spell Banish Hex!"

Ellis watched his Life Points drop. He laughed.

"You got moves, ya got moves."

Zen continued "The card I discarded was a monster card, Shinin."

This card cannot be selected as an attack target once per turn.

 

 

"And that means..." said Ellis, although he knew what it meant.

"You lose 1000 Life Points!" said Zen, triumphantly. "And I end my turn!"

Zen Yuseo=4000

Ellis Baker=1200

"Ya see! Ya enjoy duelling, and your darn good at it n all! Why don't you join a DG? C'mon! You need to show the world ya skills!" boomed Ellis Baker

"You know I won't, not after what they did..." said Zen."They killed my brother! Duel Gangs killed by older brother!"

Zen flung his hand at the photo.

 

FLASHBACK

It was a warm night, which was unusual for the winter nights. The streets were silent, a few houses had their lights on and there was no activity on the road.

The garage differed greatly to how it was then. This garage had a sofa, a table, a coloured wall and a small space for tools. A phone rang. Zen Yuseo picked it up.

"Hello, D.D. Wheels here. Can I help you?" yawned Zen.

"Well, you could start by waking up..." said a voice from the other end. A deep voice , however it was a friendly voice. Zen smiled.

"Bro, it's late. Where were you?"

"Black Lights had a quick meeting. Had to go."

"It's eating out of your time, Jay."

"That's what I've been thinking about. I need to get a proper education don't I? I need to actually work a full shift at the garage, don't I? And more importantly, Sadie. I want more time with her, and I can't do it with a Duel Gang."

"Are you sure? it's kind of cool to be in a Duel Gang" asked Zen.

"Yeah, but... Talk to you when I get there" said Jay, turning his phone off.

Later, Zen heard a Duel Runner pull up. He ran to the garage door. It opened, and there stood his brother.

"Let's get to bed, Zen" said Jay.

But that night, Jay made a decision

 

The next day

 

The town of Roderom was empty, except for two figures on top of a skyscraper. The skyscraper was the meeting place for the Duel Gang, Black Lights, and Jay had arranged to meet the leader of Black Lights, Hugh Stelvastliek.

"You wanted to see me, Jay?" said Hugh. He was a man of stubborn character, and was not good at duelling. He had a cigar in his mouth, and he wore clothes that didn't fit his obese body.

"Sir, I want to leave Black Lights" said Jay. "It's eating away time I could be spending on other things. I will miss the gang, but it's time for me to leave."

Several expressions crossed Hugh's face during this speech. First confusion, then dissapointment and finally anger.

"Well this is a shock. To be honest, I'm glad. I was about to fire you anyway, you lazy scum!" shouted Hugh.

"OK, sir" said Jay, leaving.

"Go on, off you go" said Hugh, giving Jay a hard shove.

What happened next was to be said as the 'most careless murder' there ever was. Jay flew back, off the end of the skyscraper, and down to his death.

Zen was told the next morning. The tears he shed could never be replaced.

END FLASHBACK

 

 

[spoiler=[b]Chapter 4: Synchro Summon! Shale Warrior![/b]]

Zen had gone quiet. The subject of his brother always silenced him. Before, he would cry. But he had grown older and tougher. Ellis tried to lighten the mood.

"C'mon kid, he'd be proud of ya, he would!" said Ellis reassuringly.

"Thanks" said Zen. "Let's move on"

"Alright, it's ma turn. Draw!" Ellis had it all figured out, a perfect combo. First, he would Normal Summon Daemon Hunters and then equip it with Power Warrior Sword and then Daemon Hunters' effect would activate and finally activate Pain Alter after an attack. This combo would reduce Zen's Life Points to 0.

Increase this card's ATK by 500 for each Equip Card equipped to it.

 

The equipped monster gains 800 ATK. If this card is destroyed, you may equip it to another face-up monster on your side of the field.

 

Send a number of Spell and Trap cards from your side of the field to the Graveyard. Inflict 600x the number of Spell and Trap cards sent to your opponent's Life Points.

 

 

 

Ellis grinned "Check out my combo, man!" he shouted "First I summon Daemon Hunters!"

"A monster which gains attack with Equip cards..." thought Zen.

"Ya got it all worked out" said Ellis " But this combo will reduce your Life Points lower than mine! Now I equip Daemon Hunters with Power Warrior Sword! It's getting 800 points!"

Zen looked at the Duel Field. He saw the Daemon Hunters grab the sword. At once they started glowing.

"Effect activate! Daemon Hunters gain 500 ATK points for every Equip Card equipped to it! It gets power with power! Ha!" exclaimed Ellis. "Trust me, man. I have never lost a Duel. It's in ma blood, init?"

"There's a first for everything, Ellis!" said Zune

"Let's see. Daemon Hunters! Attack The Trapcaster! Power Warrior Slash!"

"Whoa!" said Zen, as his Life Point meter dropped.

"Hehe. Next, I'll be settin 4 cards and activating one of em! Pain Altar! Basically, if I send these 3 cards to the Grave, you lose 1800 Life Points!"

The Duel Field showed the 3 Spell cards cut in half, and then they flew towards Zen.

Zen backed away, and he lost 1800 Life Points

"I end." said Ellis.

"Alright" said Zen "Spirit of the Cards, give me the one!".

He drew. A slow smile spread across Zen's face.
