The Dark One
http://metagame.com/yugioh.aspx?tabid=33&ArticleId=10582 Ok, what the funk is up with all the people only running 1 teleport or 0? Radical change. (And it's pathetic that it's a radical change to switch out a half dozen cards in a deck in this format.)

CrabHelmet
Mind = blown. By the way, out of those 16 decks, 15 use DAD, and the last one is Lightlords. A quick skim of the decklists says that if we discount dropping the Teleports, then only one of the DAD builds has serious deviations from a fairly basic Tele-DAD formula is a lone Zombie build - and it still runs 3 Malicious and 3 Emergency Teleport, so it's still even more of a Tele-DAD deck than some of the non-Zombie builds. (And it's pathetic that it's a radical change to switch out a half dozen cards in a deck in this format.) If you think about it, it's like that in a lot of formats. A year ago, dropping Disk and Malicious from your standard Perfect Circle or Twilight Circle deck would be a radical change, but it would still only be three cards. (Of course, their D-Hero support would leave with them... eh, then use dropping all copies of Raiza as your example instead.)
Flame Dragon
Unless I miss counted only 1 of those decks wasn't a DAD deck. That is sad. Very, very, sad. I do find it interesting that 1 deck had only 1 E-Tele and 4 didn't even have E-Tele.

CrabHelmet
What's especially interesting is that, outside of the lack of E-Tele, the decks lacking E-Tele are otherwise very similar to regular Tele-DAD, the main difference being the replacement of E-Tele with Royal Oppression. Now the meta decks are anti-meta decks at the same time. o_o

Not to mention Chris Bowling and his brother Kyle topped using the same thing again.

Guest PikaPerson01
And I got grief for running Oppression in Zombies? 0_o On-topic: I always thought running 3 E-Teles and only 3 Psychics was stupid. I'm glad that at least one Lightsworn Deck topped. I'm not glad' date=' however, that fourteen of the Decks that topped were Tele-DaD Decks.[/quote'] Only 11 of the Top 16 used E-Tele at all, so I doubt that 14 were Tele-DAD. >_> 6 were Oppression-DAD, 1 was Zombie-DAD, 10 were Tele-DAD, and 1 was Lightlords. You may notice that 6+1+10+1 is not 16, but that's because there was overlap; the Zombie-DAD build was also Tele-DAD, and one of the Tele-DAD builds - I count it as Tele-DAD if it runs 2 E-Tele or more - was also Oppression-DAD. Of course, Oppression-DAD is extremely similar in structure to Tele-DAD anyhow.
zelda_tp_fan
Now the meta decks are anti-meta decks at the same time. o_o So... if people want to run an anti meta deck, are they going to have to build an anti anti meta deck?

'Bout time the meta caught up with my brilliance! =D the difference between running three e-tele and 3 psychics and running 3 warriors and 3 rotais that e-tele can ss from the hand so it has a much lower chance of being a dead card. if you have 3 rota and three warriors and you draw one of those warrior that third rota is a completely dead card.
