~Shore
I know that the views on this movie are pretty evenly split into love and hate, and I'm one of the haters, but I'm wondering if there are any fans out there who would want to debate it with me. Lemniscate
I love this movie. They took classic Beatles tunes and modernized them to fit today's world. They also created a beautiful moving sculpture of the decade of the Beatles.Add in Selma Hayek, Joe Cocker, Eddie Izzard, and Bono. And you've got a great movie. ~Shore
meh, the Beatles songs don't sound good when they're not played by the Beatles. The lyrics don't make the song, its the melodies and the vocals and the instruments and the lyrics combined, and the people who did the remixes were nowhere near as good musicians as the Beatles
Lemniscate
As someone who has never cared much for the vocals of the Beatles, I don't understand your arguement. Also, the Beatles were average musicians, it wasn't the skill they played at, but the fact that they took American Blues and changed it. (This was true for the whole British Invasion)
