Death Metal
The only thing that was true about what that guy said is about how flying on that game is a pain. Overall it's an awesome game but I would still prefer the old NES/SNES mario games.

starwebs1
I think making it into a DS version kinda killed it. They didn't really add anything new with the transfer from the 64 to the DS.Still fun' date=' but a little bit of a let down. The original was great, for it's time. Nowadays it can't compare. Don't get me wrong, i love it but it isn't something we havn't done before.[/quote'] WHAT??????64 DS has 30 more Stars, and you can PLAY as Yoshi, Luigi and Wario. It can easily be compared to todays games. The N64 version set the standard for MOST 3 dimensional platformers that release today. Up until then, we hadn't done something like that before. =/ I think making it into a DS version kinda killed it. Then it shouldn't be labeled as Super Mario 64 DS. Almost a completely different game. 3 More characters to play as, and more stars. In truth, the DS version SUCKS compared to the original. Enma Ai
but still graphics are NOT what makes the game good.... eg. if you could gat a game with the most up-to-date graphics but the game was a lump of BULL**** or you could get a game with grapics similar to n64/gamecube and it was the funnest game you ever played what would you get? and its not mario 64 if it doesnt resemble mario 64...duh!
