Christian Exodia
9/11 is the saddest time ever in the US. I posted this because I was disgusted by this criminal on YouTube who said "Thanks 9/11" on a patriotic song: Where were you (When The World Stopped Turning) by Alan Jackson. Discuss who 9/11 affected you
Shrekstasy
I was a second grader. I got in trouble the next day for drawing a plane hitting a building.

problematica
Affected me by creating incredible prejudice against Muslims and Middle Easterns in general. Also, it's pretty far from the saddest moment in the US ever.

Tkill93
It didn't effect me at all. I heard it on the news, everyone was talking about it, and the next day I was back at school fulfilling my daily routine.

The_Prince_of_Death
I was sad for a while (as I watched it happen until the end of the year). I still feel sorry for the ones that died. I dont feel much of the grieving anymore.

MarbleZone
I laughed. 'Cause that's just how cool you are. Anyway. I won't go as far as to say it changed my life or anything remotely similar, but it saddened me. The way it came out of nowhere, I suppose. It pretty much introduced me to the concept of terrorism, since I was rather young back then, and Portugal is barely big enough to have gangsters, let alone terrorists. :P

Same here, I just went about everything the next day as every other day (though some of my classmates said this was the price for the US arrogance in thinking it's untouchable)

OMGAKITTY
4th grade (or was it 5th..?), sitting in the dark, listening to the teacher read a book (from the "Magic Treehouse" series, I believe), playing with a chain of paper clips. Another teacher walks in a whispers in my teacher's ear. She announces what happened.Someone somewhere told me that I would remember exactly what I was doing when I heard about it...they were right. ...Of course, back then, I didn't even know that the Twin Towers were. :q @Pikachu: Yes.@Shannoa: Wow. That's really cool. You must be the most hardcore person at school. You laugh when people die. Man, I wish I were as cool as you. I bet you say sheet like Hitler is your hero too, don't you? Guest JoshIcy
When I first heard that the bodies literally vaporized from the heat. I imagined it happening and cried... Staring in the face of that and being incinerated while conscious. I didnt sleep for a day. But, no it is not the saddest time in US history. The Great Depression is.And no I do not care that Muslims/Middle Easterners did it. They are people like you and me, no more. No less.

Flame Dragon
I live in New York so it really hit home for me. I was in 4th grade when it happened and I remember kids being pulled out of school one at a time. I also remember the day after all the schools being closed. It's sad looking out into Manhattan and not seeing the twin towers their anymore..
