SushiTheLegend
Right, because it seems people are very UNHELPFUL on his particular subject I'm waiting for someone who knows what they are talking about and is willing to help to explain this subject to me. My main issue regarding the DARK SYNCRO, is how to keep the Card Name Text as the default colours, such as Ultra Rare/Secret Rare, etc. Also how to make the level number alignment correct without the background part on the right looking screwed up, that means no just flipping the image over since that work won't with regards to the bottom half of the card. Only intelligent replies or don't bother replying. Link to comment
Cyber Altair
I never tried any Dark Synchro's but isn't using the "Replace Color" option capable of changing the cards color without changing the colors text color if that's your problem. Link to comment
SushiTheLegend
And you realize how difficult that would be? That and I forgot how. Link to comment
Cyber Altair
Yes, Replace Color isn't as easy as it was intended =P I'd be able to do one but the fact that I never did it before would mean I have to spend a lot of time on it =/ Link to comment
Enma Ai
why not just look for a tut and the person who made it will tell you! Link to comment
SushiTheLegend
why not just look for a tut and the person who made it will tell you! What part of intelligent reply don't you get? If all you're gonna do is act like an idiot and not actually help, don't post. Link to comment
iKiller
For the alignment, try copying the whole row of stars (from one side of the card to another), lining that up, then place the Dark Synchro Stars above those, then delete the layer with the copied stars on it... Link to comment
SushiTheLegend
That made no sense...but is there a tutorial on how people have made it the most legit, AKA kept the name text gold for Ultra Rare? The tutorials I saw didn't. Link to comment
Cyber Altair
Once I get on my computer I'll take a shot at it and if I do it right I'll make a tut about it. Link to comment
Jovi Siagian
Make sure you have the right font and skills in Photoshopping. I always do that in almost every card I make, not just my Dark Synchros to give more shiny, gold, yellow, or even blue color names. Link to comment
SushiTheLegend
If I knew what font and size was used, that would be good. Link to comment
Jovi Siagian
Font I use is Matrix Regular Small Caps. For the size, I usually paste a card with a name from the generator over my card that I want to give a custom name, and re-size my custom name with the generator's one until it perfectly matches the size of the generator's name. SushiTheLegend
In other words, you use trial and error? Link to comment
Jovi Siagian
Open your un-named card. Then, paste a card with a name from generator or a real card or whatever, to your document, and hide it. For now, I use Chaotix's Custom Dark Synchro which is based on an Anime Card's Dark Synchro. Write your monster's name. The size of the font can be random. Re-size your custom name until its first letter and its last letter cover the last and first letters of the generator's card name.
Link to comment
SushiTheLegend
Also, what about getting the stars correctly aligned, the Attribute the normal colour and all that, if you could show me a full out tutorial that would be greatful. Link to comment
