"That's understandable. Most of the fighters here only fight because they are here right now or they just hate the other side. And as for if you can defeat them, I believe we all most die someday. Whether it be in battle or in life we will all see our maker's face at some point, but I also believe in you and your strength." Arael said, hopefully giving Rae the confidence boost he thought she was looking for...

The ranger Antherus approached. "You two seem to get along fairly well." He looked scornfully at the night elven ranger. "Archers in the front row, supporting magicians," he nodded at Rae, "and shamans in the back. Scouts arrived from Goldshire just a few minutes ago; the undead are on the move and should be here in minutes." He turned and walked away along the wall.

The dwarven commander looked at the druid. "Ya say ya have a pantha' outside the walls?" He smiled. "Well, tough luck for ya. None leaves or enters tha' city 'til we're ready to strike against tha' corpses dead-on." He eyed the night elf. "Ya're a drood, right? Archmage Drumas wants ya in the wiz-tower." He raised his voice. "Every drood and mage is'a needed in the mage tower!"

Hlyrax woke up to the sound of hearing a giant group of gathering men and dwarfes alike, just now he realised that he overslept, he ran toward the crowd seeing a dwarf on a podium "I'm sorry i'm to late! Guess i overslept!" He said while standing in line with other races.

"Thank you, Gregory. I shall protect our homeland if I can. Now, excuse me, I need to see what's our dwarven commander going to say. And please, call me Wilfred." the man said, as he picked up the cooled weapons and placed them on his back.

"Farawell." Wilfred said and bowed to Gregory, as he left the smithshop. Now he had four swords with him, two on his belt, and two on his back.

"Too bad I can wield only one at a time..." the paladin thought, as he mounted his horse again, and rode to the center of the Dwarwen District, where the dwarf was speaking.

Rae sighed.

"Well, it was nice to meet you, Arael." Without waiting for a response, she turned and walked away, leaving the two archers to find their place. However, after taking a few steps, she realised something. She forgot a weapon.

'DAMN.' She looked around and grimaced. She'd have to get one after the first wave of zombies had died. She'd just have to rely on her totems before she could get a sword or such.

"Ugh." Grimacing once more, she set off towards the back ranks of the defence.

As the two paladins entered the crowd, the dwarven commander nodded at them. He gave Hlyrax an appraising look, as if to say Thank the Gods for sendin' me a kinsman, and spoke as the mages were leaving for Wizard Tower. "The rest of ya should'a be fighters. Head to the gates, the Scourge army is on it's way here already. We need all the men we have."

The thread title implies that I can still join, yes?

[i'll edit my character sheet in this post when / if I get the relative approval]

Name:

Seraighin Stardagger

Gender:

Female

Race:

Night Elf

Class:

Rogue

Physical Appearance:

-Height: 1,62m

-Weight: 56kg

-Eyes: Slightly slitted

-Eye Color: Silver

-Face: Oval

-Skin: Smooth, Black-colored tatoos on arms and cheeks

-Skin Shade: Pale Purple

-Hair Color: Light Blue

-Hair Style: Waist-Length, caught in a ponytail

-Figure: Slim, as usual for Night Elf females

-Fingernails: Silver, long

Clothing:

A long, black hooded cloak, typical of those who would want to conceal themselves in the shadows (as Rogues usually do). A skin-tight black tunic lies underneath, followed by matching trousers. A pair of sandals is used as footwear. A belt is used as a container for knives and other related gear, but two daggers are concealed within the cloak's sleeves for easy access.

Reason:

Yes; the legends speak of valorous, beautiful Night Elves, immortal paragons of virtue and morality. Yes; there are also the corrupt Elves who heeded the dark call of sorcery and abandoned Cenarius' teachings for demonic power. But between Light and Darkness, there is the shadow - the small caste who has neither fallen to the arcane temptation nor wishes to uphold to society's laws and ethics. Common criminals, those who wish to make a living at the expense of others. Rogues and thieves, such is the type of the Rogue called Seraighin. However, the Night Elves have vigilant guards in the dark, the Sentinels, and being caught by them once was not a pleasant experience for our young elf. Therefore, she departed the beautiful forests of Kalimdor for the chaotic kingdom of man, hoping to use her honed skills and talents on less vigilant prey. Considering her desire to make an easy living, though, perhaps her arrival was rather ill-timed...

Added. Also, rules? Last I checked, the sign-up method were handled by the individual hosting the RPG - seeing as nothing was written on the opening post, I assumed it was fine to just post here, as per usual.

By the way, since the RP has already started, I assume I'll just read my way through the posts till now and find a way to fit in, correct?

"Now is the time to test my skills.", Wilfred thought while he departed for the Stormwind's gates. He rode through the Old Town at a fast pace, with his cloak dancing on the wind. A minute later, he reached the gates, where many warriors, rogues and paladins in shining armors and dusty assasin robes have already gathered.

"Who is in charge here?" he asked loudly, and many faces turned to him.

"I am." From the crowd, a tower of a night elf emerges. From the waist and up, the elven warrior was covered in thick plate armor. The rest of his body was that of a bear's; four muscular legs ending in large paws that looked like they could break stone. Covered in brown fur waist to feet, the warrior before you is surely blessed. "I am Lethien, son of Ursoc and Menaera." The god's offspring stands at least eleven feet tall before you, and you gulp. He nods at you. "Get to the frontline, the gate will be opened in minutes."

Lethien nodded at Wilfred. "Empty your mind, human. Let the forces of nature flow through you..." As he speaks, the godchild's eyes light up in bright green. Wilfred and Hlyrax feel a warmth in their bodies. They fell as if they can take on any foe, living or undead. Suddenly, a chorus of horns echoes along the entire city wall. "Open the gates! Let the dead taste the blades of the Alliance!"

Just as Antherus starts to speak, the horns are blown and the two rangers turn to the hillside before them. The undead army looked like none before it. It stretched far and wide, coming out of the woods beneath like a ravishing plague. "There is no time!" He turned to the other archers. "Fire!"

As the deadly volley of arrows spread among the undead ranks, bringing hundreds to their knees, the dwarven captain grunts at Morthas. "Everyone to tha walls, they're coming!"

OOC: Lol. And now let my WoW inexperience show.

IC:

Rae smirked as the horns were blown and the gates opened. Grimacing at her lack of weapon, she lowered her head and began to mutter.

"Spirits of flame, heed my call..." Rae lifted her head and raised her arm.

"Totem of Flame!" At her words, a large, flaming pole appeared in Rae's hand, but didn't appear to burn her. She quickly span, and using the momentum, threw the totem across the battlefield. Unfortunately, Rae's physique prevented the totem from going very far, and as such, it planted itself a short distance away from the enemy. She smiled, however, as waves of orange flame sprouted from the totem and engulfed everything in a 20 yard radius. The terrible screams brought a genuine smile to her face. Before the zombie menace had a chance to recover, she held out her other hand.

"Spirits of the earth, heed my call...Totem of Earth!" This time, a glowing green totem appeared, which she quickly threw in front of the advancing Alliance. Hopefully, they would get a boost from that. As the soldiers turned to look at her, cautious of the skill only before used by the Horde, she mock saluted and turned to watch the archers fire into the dark...

Arael was shooting his rifle-like weapon with perfect accuracy and precision. He took a steady aim and when he knew he was ready he fired a shot, that split into three different shells, and took out three of the enemies at once. Arael was always a precision marksman no matter what the task, some alliance archers were impressed to see him use this fine tactic...

ooc: I chose multishot because I thought giving myself a personal volley of bullets would be to much -_-"

OoC: Hidden, you and the rest of the melee fighters are at the gates with Lethien.

Kyub: Throwing totems is awesome.

The undead fell by the score as Stormwind's defenders unleashed volley upon volley of deadly arrows and bullets. Soon, the road was littered with corpses, and yet the undead pressed forward. As the gates open up, the fighters see a rushing army coming towards them.

Lethien soothed his soldiers with a tranquil rain of light. "Do not fear, allies, for we can defeat them!" Then, they charged into the oncoming undead forces.
