my favorite is Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem. Inflicts battle damage to defense position monsters, your opponent can't activate spell or trap cards when it attacks, and special summons ancient Gear golem when its destroyed is EPIC in my book.

The second Synchros came out, I knew that Konami finally ran out of ideas for their YGO cards.

 

The Synchros are just way too overpowered. It makes all your other cards look like crap compared to them. That's why I decided that I wouldn't touch my deck anymore.

It's like, you immediately have them, and you Synchro Summon. THAT'S IT. No limitations. The second you have it, boom, Synchro Summon. I hate that so much. Makes it very unfair for people who don't have Synchros, or aren't trying to do a Synchro deck.

I play like twice a year ... at most (After I took like a 2.5 year break). My favorite card is probably Armed Dragon LVL 10. It's gotten me out of some really tight spots.

 

Story Time -- My fav was when my opponent had 3 BEWDs on the field and an Ultimate Dragon. And I had no cards on my field and only Mirage Dragon in my hand. I drew Pot of Greed and got ADlvl10 and Phantom of Chaos. I treated my PoC as the ADlvl7 in my Graveyard and summoned ADlvl10, then discarded MD, destroyed all 4 of his monsters, and attacked him directly with 3000. SWEET. good times .... good times.
