Terapolys is a torn world — literally. Fifteen continents are suspended over a massive orb of fire to form the planet. Airships are necessary for negotiations between its many nations. Therefore, airships are a lucrative business. Among the most famous of these airship businesses is Gaduce's Secure Transport company. It is famous not for its luxury or price, but for its security.

So when the magic scholars Andraida and Kuve claim they have discovered a powerful secret to share only with the lord of Rextora, home of Andraida's race of Black Mages, they turn first to Gaduce and his allies, Ovkin, Dindo, and Lindelbaum. The first attack on the airship bound for Rextora was performed by the thief Adniz, who simply wanted to enlist with Gaduce's company. The next attack, however, was from a true enemy: Zeve, the wicked king of the Ghouls. Hailing from the unofficial sixteenth continent, the Sorim Storm raging between Rextora and peaceful Alexandria, Zeve wants to eliminate the knowledge Andraida and Kuve hold. This same knowledge is coveted by the Dragoon, Exithus, who seeks to withdraw his lost lover from the flames raging beneath Terapolys's landmasses.

Caught up in Zeve's attack was Aliti, a young healer living in Alexandria. While visiting the palace to heal Tifa, an immigrant from Midgar and one of Alexandria's few honest politicians, Aliti was assailed by various ghouls. She managed to hold them at bay long enough for Tifa to devastate their ranks with a Titan summon. The queen of Alexandria, Garnet, was drawn down long enough to be targeted for destruction herself, but she was able to defeat her enemies easily enough.

The airship crash-landed in Alexandria. None of the passengers, however, were harmed. They soon met up with Zeve's other targets, and after determining the nature of the mages' secret, agreed that it must be taken to Rextova, no matter the cost.

For Andraida and Kuve have found a way to repair the world and make it as it once was, sealing Ifrit, the demon who ultimately rules the world, away forever. And Zeve isn't the only one of Ifrit's pawns that will do everything they can to stop the party.

Final Fantasy installments VII, VIII, and IX have all transpired in Truth of Terapolys's timeline. Note that Advent Children, Last Order, and Dawn of Cerberus have not happened.

Bio: A long while ago Jax and Ovkin used to be the best of comrades. That was at least until Ovkin moved away and Jax endorsed his new life as a thief. Ovkin hated thieves, but for some reason he didn't hate Jax. Jax was always alone from day one, but when he lost Ovkin it felt like he lost himself...

Personality: Jax is a calm person who only steals what he needs, and maybe sometimes what he wants. Jax is a drifter almost more then he is a thief he likes to go to all sorts of places and not tell anyone of his where about. However, Jax is mostly dark and alone, dark because of his life of thievery and alone because he has lost his best friend. For now anyway..

Class: Fighter

Bio: Chad and Gaduce were the best in street fighting, club fights, or any other fights they would always be there for each other. But until one day Gaduce was captured and almost left dead but is in prison. Now Chad is going to have to put his masterful hand-to-hand combat skills to work in order to save his best friend.

Personality: Chad's personality is strong because him and Gaduce work together, brawl together a couple of times and and they lift weights together, Chad always lift the heavier weight. Chad's personality is cold-hearted because without Gaduce it's like he's weak and lonely and he doesn't have a care in the world. Another is hot-headed because he never listens to anybody and is quiet but strong and dependable also stubborn.

Bio: Kuve is Fabian's best friend and archrival. When Fabian one day found Kuve whispering something with Andraida, he became suspicious. He wanted to know what Kuve and Andraida were up to so he convinced Kuve to let him join the group on their journey, so he could find out about this mystery, and maybe use it to his benefits...

Personality: Fabian sometimes uses his powers of time to his own benefit and sometimes that gets people into trouble. He wants to be respected and is kind to people who are kind to him, and vica versa. Although most times he's calm he can be unstable, and get angry fast. He can sometimes be easily manipulated by outside forces..

Age: 21

Gender: ♂ (Male)

Relation: Tifa

Class: Summoner

Bio: Xero was Tifa's long time friend. They met when they were young and separated much later. He was born to Alexander Kiryu and Eve Kiryu, both were mages. Alexander was a black mage while Eve was a white mage. This encouraged him to become a mage himself. This caused him to be incredibly smart in his childhood, which caused him to be shunned by most other kids. It wasn't only kids that shunned him, adults did to. They shunned him for actually being smart than themselves. Xero was then all alone, which got him his solitude and staying out of trouble. The only friend he did have was Tifa. Xero was learning to become a Silver Mage when he separated from Tifa. Which will not be told how they got separated exactly. He learned how to stop time for a little while, roughly 10 - 30 seconds. He decided later to be a summoner instead. He thought that raw power was much more efficient. That and the seeming control of deities. He has wandered the world searching for his long lost friend.

Personality: Xero is rather wise and knowledgeable. He keeps himself out of trouble unless it is something very important. He is a aomewhat moderate person, not liking to use the same strategy or spell over and over.

You don't need to. The formulæ used to determine in-game events are displayed. FF-esque battles will transpire, though, and all characters will be in a party of four combatants.

Name: Jared Scott

Age: 24

Bio:

Jared was born in a middle class family, in which his father, Steven, was a successfull trader, and his mother, Eileen, was a housewife. His mother mostly took care of him, since his father travelled much. Eileen also taught him to read, write, et cetera, since she was able to co-work with a noblewoman in her youth. Jared learned to use the sword at the age of 13, and that is the only thing that his father taught him.

 

Jared left his family house at the age of 16, to train as a ranger in the capital city. He was a fair student, and was one of the best swordsmen. That is where he met Ovkin. The two hanged out together oftenly, and met eachother well. Ovkin also saved their lives once, during a training in the woods. Little is known about the event. When their academy times ended, the two eventually got separated, and never met eachother again.

 

From the age 21 to 23, Jared lived alone in a shack, with his sword, bow and arrows. He practised to improve his skills in both, and became a decent archer and even better swordsman.

 

Today, Jared wanders the world, seeking adventure and danger. His ultimate quest is to reunite with Ovkin, and fight by his side once again.

Personality: Jared has an adventurous spirit, and always seeks action. Never hesistates to enter danger. If he appears to be the most skilled in a group, though, he will first look after the underlings. In battle his personality changes, and he becomes carefull.

Name: Jax

Age: 28

Class: Thief

Bio: Jax' childhood was un average to say the least. His mother was strange and awkward almost all the time about her life. His father was pretty much the same way, but he was sent to war when Jax was five. Jax' mother hated being a mother because it killed her dreams of being what she wanted to be. Jax' mother had always wanted to go to war with his father and be apart of the curative part of the army. Since she hated having to lose her dreams, she eventually grew to hate her own son, and such she tried to kill Jax. Unfortunately for her, Jax father returned from the war effort and caught her in the act. He quickly stopped her and did away with her own life. Jax' father loved him, but could not raise him so he sent him away when he was twelve, four years after the attempted murder of him.

 

After his father sent him off to explore the world he found himself in a town far to the west of his hometown of Necrim, they called this town Lestia. When Jax was in Lestia he immediately started to train in weaponry with a local guard, named Marcus. Six years after he came to Lestia he left and said his goodbyes to Marcus and wanted to explore the world more. Jax, at this time, was endorsing the life of a freelancer and taking jobs to get money and to grow his skills. He did this for about five years.

 

Jax then sought out a more realistic means of weapons training. He found a man that went by the name of Nick Slyson, he was a thief but at least he was a wise thief. Jax learned many weaponry skills from him such as swords, daggers, throwing knives, poisons, smoke bombs, and more. Jax and Nick grew closer with every training session, but they knew it wouldn't last, for Jax was a traveling freelancer and Nick was a thief who would often have to be on the run. After saying there goodbyes Jax didn't no where to go at all, he hoped airship to airship, went down road after road, and found nothing for him...

 

After Jax turned 25 he found a comrade and a friend in a man who was apart of an airship division, Ovkin. This was before he took on his newest passengers going to Alexandria. Ovkin and Jax would go on small missions together, whether it was money for parts to his airship or money for Jax' own causes they would do it together. One day Jax received a message from someone in town and it was horrible news. Jax' mentor, Nick, died in a horrible explosives accident, and this is where he took on his new life as a thief. Ovkin hated thieves, but for some reason he didn't hate Jax. Ovkin was now leaving to take new passengers to Alexandria, and given Jax' new life he decided to leave him behind. Jax was used to being alone from day one, but when he lost Ovkin it felt like he lost himself...

Personality: Jax is a calm person who only steals what he needs, and maybe sometimes what he wants. Jax is a drifter almost more then he is a thief he likes to go to all sorts of places and not tell anyone of his where about. However, Jax is mostly dark and alone, dark because of his life of thievery and alone because he has lost his best friend. For now anyway..
