YuGiOh: Duelist Genesis

:.Bronze Hat.:™

Recommended Posts

In the near future the YuGiOh card game has advanced greatly. there is a new concept to it called Deck Warriors. When a Duel begins, the Duelists will transform based on their Deck theme. For example, a dark deck will transform you into a Dark Monster, and a Dragon Deck will turn you into a Dragon-Man. Duelists also have a card version of themselves that allows them to be on the field, which is automatically played at the start of a Duel. In addition to the 3 normal ways of winning, there is a fourth one. If your card version is destroyed in battle, you automatically lose no matter how many Life Points you have. Also, your card version is your life. If someone else takes your card, you could be trapped in your card version forever. That brings us to the bad guys - The Dark Deck Riders. It is there mission to beat you and claim your soul. You can stop the menace of the Dark Deck Riders, or help it. No matter what side your on, it's time to gear up and Get Ready to Duel!

OoC: you kinda forgot that the 1 evil person has slightly Overpowered cards, I'll go ahead

Ryko walked as a Casual person, but as he Took off his Hood, Black Marks and Red eyes had shown, Which then his Red eyes was Glowing and he was Staring at a Stranger, Which he Lured into an Alley and Dueled Him, As the Duel Went on, Ryko had his card version of himself out on the field, Death Whisper - Ryko, while the Stranger also had his card version of himself, Which was "Kane - The Emissary of Light", They both had 8000 Life Points left, and it was Ryko's turn......

Ryko said "Draw!" and he Drew his card, Then Ryko was Chuckling, and his Pendant was Glowing, Which he Said "I Play an Equip Card, "Death Whisper - Transcendance!..." Which the Stranger was Upset and said "Enough with the Equip cards! I want to see some Action!" Which then "Death Whisper - Ryko" had a Seal Visible on his Chest, his ATK didn't go up any, Which the Stranger Said "I Activate Kane's Effect! I Pay 1000 Life Points to Destroy Transcendance", which Ryko said "Ahhh.... Whong move!" As Kane Flew Upward and Slashed at the Seal, Which had no effect, Which the Stranger Asked "Why didn't that card get Destroyed? It should be!" Which Ryko Replied "Fool! Transcendance and it's Victim cannot be Destroyed by card effect, But no matter, it is going to be gone.... right..... Now!" Then the Seal glowed Gold "I Send My card Form and Transcendance to the Graveyard, then you will see what happens!" the Seal then Glowed very Brightly, and soon Ryko, Then, Out of the Light Came out a Massive Dragon, Dark Indigo in color, as it breathed out a little, a puff of Black fire shot out of his Mouth, Which Disappated as it flew out "Trancendance Summon! Hakiri-Ryko!" Then the Beast slapped Ryko on the back, Signifying one of it's effects, Which a Spirit of another Person, A King appeared and Dived inside the Beast...

OoC: Cards used in this Post:

Kane - The Emissary of Light

[Light/Fairy/7/2500/2700]

Once during either Player's Turn, you can pay 1000 Life points to Destroy 1 Spell or Trap Card on the field, This card cannot Inflict battle Damage by Attacking, When this card is Attacked by a Monster Whose ATK is Higher than this card's DEF, Inflict Twice the Difference as Battle Damage to your Life points.

Death Whisper - Ryko

--Look in Form

Death Whisper - Transcendance

[spell/Equip]

Equip only to a Plague Synchro Monster, a "Kyko - Centaur Hunter of the Yata" or a "Death Whisper - Ryko" This card and the Equipped monster cannot be Destroyed by Card effects, When this Face-up card is Sent to the Graveyard, Except as a Fusion Material, Inflict 1500 Damage to your opponent

Transcended Whispering Beast - Hakiri-Ryko

[Dark/Fiend/Plague/7/3400/2800]

1 "Death Whisper - Ryko" + 1 "Death Whisper - Transcendance"

This card cannot be Special Summoned except by Sending the Fusion Material Monsters to the graveyard (You do not use Polymerization), You can only control 1 "Transcended Whispering Beast" Monster, When this card would be Removed from the field, This card is Removed from Play, When it is Removed from play using this effect, This card is Special Summoned During your next Standby Phase, Control of this card cannot switch, When this card is Summoned, Send 1 "Death Whisper King - Yata-Aluria" From your Extra Deck to the graveyard, Once per turn, you can Discard 1 card from your hand and Send the top card of your deck to the graveyard to add 1 card from your Graveyard to your hand

Oh and it's Ryko's Second turn, He tried his Usual strategy of using Death Whisper - Stage 10 to try and win, but Kane kept destroying his Spells

OoC: Ryko' date=' if your card version goes to the Graveyard, you lose the duel (you can also forfiet by destroying it)

[/quote']

If your card version is destroyed in battle' date=' you automatically lose no matter how many Life Points you have.[/quote']

OoC: <_< oh my, which rule to go by!? Besides, Its a powered up version of Ryko that is fusion summoned using Ryko, perhaps there could be a rule where if a Fusion or a Tribute summon is Conducted using the Card version as a Material, they have to Destroy the result monster to win

OoC: why not use my rule, otherwise my TWB Monsters would be too Broken or Unplayable, and people would run Macro Cosmos/Dimensional Fissure as a staple in this RP which would be this:

"If the Card version of you is Removed from the Field, Unless it is used for a Tribute for a Monster or Returned to your hand or Deck, you lose the Duel, but if you use it as a Tribute for a monster, if the Resulting monster is removed from the field, Unless it is Returned to your hand or Main Deck, you lose the Duel"

That way it will make some Beefed up versions of the Card versions of people more playable AND it gets rid of the D.D. Loophole
