Most Satisfying Anime Ending

Out of all the anime you have seen, what was the best anime ending that satisfyed you enough to leave you in such a great emotion and so amazed that the whole anime went well?

For me, I was most satisfyed with the ending of Avatar: The Last Airbender (if its considered an anime). Truly, I haven't seen any ending to any other anime. I'm in the middle of alot of anime and manga, never really finsihed any of them, YET.

The Crimson One,

Miranda-chan

Blood Rose, I'm happy I only readed the words "Death Note for me.", couse I'm currently reading it (going at manga 7).

Well, the most stupidest ending I think was for Shaman King.

Haven't hardly seen any others =/ Am reading still =D

Pokemon. I wrote the ending.

Team Rocket captures Pikachu successfully, but Pikachu zaps itself, causing all the nerves to stop functioning and Pikachu dies.

Misty, May, and Dawn rape Ash to death.

Giovanni gets pushed into a lake filled with "Sharpedo" and "Carvanha."

Brock starts a riot.

Lance gets stabbed in the brain with a pencil.

Post-Ash's Death: Misty, May, and Dawn are eaten by wolves.

Meowth becomes a pimp and Max is a whore.

The Frontier Brains start doing heroin.

The guy who created Pokemon is killed in Brock's riot.

Death Note.

I liked some aspects of Code Geass's ending, but I wouldn't call it "Most Satisfying", since they deliberately threw in some cop-out ambiguity.

Oh, and the ending of School Days was satisfying - not because it was a nice wrap-up to its idiot plot, but because Sekai finally did what I had wanted someone to do since somewhere around episode three or four.

TTGL's would have been satisfying if they hadn't randomly stopped going beyond the impossible and kicking reason the curb. Given everything that had happened in the entire series, suddenly deciding to just sit down and accept fate makes no sense whatsoever.

Death Note for me' date=' although would have been better if it had followed the manga, but I loved the way they had L looking over Light as his heart stopped.

^This.

All the other Animes i have seen either had crappy endings or i havn't finished them yet.

Shakugan no Shana had a pretty good ending, if I remember correctly (end of second season)

Not actually an anime, but a live action drama based on an anime...Hana Yori Dango had an amazing ending.

I haven't seen the anime for it, but Hana Kimi (manga) is probably my favorite ending of all time.

Avatar's ending made me lol, because they purposefully raised Zutara hopes, then crushed them BRUTALLY WITH THE IRON FIST OF MAKE OUT.

Code Geass gives off quite a satisfactory ending as it shows the price for the impossible & what Lelouch has done to achieve it, also it has lots plot twists that made it so good.

(Also because I like it when the main character is not the classic good guy)

Death Note and Code Geass were good.

But beyond a doubt' date=' the least satisfying is The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. It was so random and had nothing to do with the plot. >.<[/color']

maybe it is because that show has no concrete plot at all & it is so confusing & never explained the truth of the whole situation (leaving us to make random speculations)

You watched it in chronological order, didn't you? There's your problem.

Episode 6 was the real ending, although it wasn't entirely satisfying either.
