Card Maker Fault

Hi all. ^^

 

I don't suppose if any of you have noticed but the card maker hasn't been working for some time now. It isn't generating the card images after putting in the image URL from Photobucket. The images were working fine a few weeks ago but now nothing.

 

Is there a problem with the card maker? Or should I upload my images some where else?l

EDIT: Nevermind. Just press the Generate button after putting in the Picture URL and you should be fine.

well its not uploading for me! so well i NEED

it fixed i do NOT want to spend all my time

uploading.

It never generates the picture right after I put the URL in so I save it, then open it. Then the picture shows up.

when it doesnt upload right away right click it and hit show picture...after a few times it should work

yeah but we are talking about why upload wont

work i just checked it it still dose not work(for me).

You don't have to press upload. Upload doesn't work for me either. All you do is put the picture location inside the picture URL box, and then click Generate, and that'll bring up the picture into your card, understand? And btw, I don't know why the upload button doesn't work, but if you read the little message that pops up when you press the upload button, you would know.

It happened to me once. It worked with a Normal monster but not a Effect monster. Then the next day it worked. I photoshop and use paint if it doesnt work. Or you can save and then generate, etc. What they said.

YOU CANNOT USE THE GENERATE BUTTON. IT CAUSES SERVER CRASHES.

Ok, I think I know what you mean and I will try to help.

 

Sometimes the images just don't work with the Card Maker so you won't be able to use that image, you'll just have to find a new one.

 

I myself was having some trouble with the Card Maker awhile back and I will say how I fixed it, your computer might not have been meddled with by annoying, little, sticky-fingered sisters, :lol:, but this might still be the case with you.

 

I only know how to do this with IE, so if you have Firefox, sorry!

IE: Go to 'Tools' in your tab toolbar and select 'Internet Options'.

Now select the 'Security' tab and click 'Reset all zones to default level'.

Then select the 'Privacy' tab and click 'Default' (This is optional, it just makes it

easier for me to explain to you if you do this).

Stay in the 'Privacy' tab and now select 'Advanced'.

Tick 'Override automatic cookie handling' and then tick 'Always allow session cookies'.

Now click 'Ok' and then click 'Ok' again on the main 'Internet Settings' window.

Done...

Thank you all for giving me your input, but what I found out was it wasn't the Card Maker it was the image hosting site I was using, once I switched to a different image hosting site it worked perfectly.

 

Also, I use Netscape most of the time. ^^;
