Felix
Anybody played Golden Sun? I'm playing Golden Sun: The Lost Age at the moment and it's soooo difficult. Beating the monsters is easy but the puzzles are really hard and I'm getting stuck every 5 minutes. It's a great game but it really bugs me sometimes. Umbra
I think I've beaten both games. Can't remember if I killed the last boss, though. Camelot needs to make a third.
PrometheusMFD
They were going to (for the DS), but Nintendo decided to not work with them anymore. And the one they were developing was a really cool prequal. Although you could still transfer data from The Lost Age (Perfect score for me) so I am wondering how that would work. Azerty-of-KoL
Has anybody else beat Deadbeard in the first one? I beat him but I was using GameFAQs.
Felix
I've never played the first, I only have TLG. What's Dead Beard like? I assume he's tough.

Felix
Why the feck did I put a G?... I'm up to the Shaman bit on TLA, I've been carrying that stupid Shaman Staff for 7 years and have had no idea what to do with it and yes 7 years, I got Golden Sun the same day I got my first hand held; the funky lookin' GBA. Umbra
Aren't you supposed to head up to that indianNative American village and make a run for it, battle the indiansNative Americans and then trade it for the Hover thing?
Felix
Yeah done that now, god that end battle took ages. I just meant that until you get to show Moapa the Shaman Staff it has no previous benefits whatsoever.
Umbra
Well, it's a quite sucky weapon. But I still need a sequel.
Felix
I don't like the idea of a prequal. I'd prefer one where another problem occurs, maybe one where they are required to go in a funky dimension.
Umbra
I'd like possibly a few centuries ahead, where the landmasses have returned to normal (as in King Hydros' Map). Oh, and Star Magician was annoying.

Umbra
One of the four World Bosses.
Felix
Ahh I see, I hear that something that starts with “Doom” is the last thing I have to kill and apparently it is very hard to do. I'm at Jupiter Lighthouse now and I have no idea what to do. I've got a locked door, 2 empty balconies and a swirly thing that I can’t do anything with. Umbra
That would be where to use your new Hover Gem. The four world bosses (Star Magician, Sentinel, Valukar, and Dullahan) are definitely worth the fight. Each of them provide a super-powerful Summon, and each of them has something special about them. Sentinel nullifies any Psynergy, Star Magician plays with hissummons balls which do a variety of painful things, Valukar can steal your Djinns and summons, and Dullahan is just being incredibly awesome. He's tougher than Doom Dragon.
Felix
I've tried using Hover but nothing was happening, I just did a little jig and that was it.
Umbra
Is there a purple circle on the ground? If so, use Hover while standing on it.
Felix
I did but that didn't work, I've checked on google and I need to use Cyclone, obviously.
Umbra
Oh, that part. Now I know where you are. You didn't get the Dark Book of Dark Secrets then? The Tome-gather-icon?
Felix
No I did not, that's quite the crappy name though. What I did just get is an 18PP single target move though. Oh yes I have learnt... Odyssey.
Umbra
Tomegathericon is the third of the three class-changing items. It's in the statue of Gabomba, and on the way down you get to abuse Cyclone to death and acquire an Earth Djinni.
Felix
Hate getting the Djinn things. When I bought the game I thought there was only one of each element. I've got two guys with 7 and the onther two with 6.
PrometheusMFD
I got all of the Djinn in the first game, transfered them to the second game, and got 100% ^_^I personally felt they put more strategy into the game.
