Chevalier has sent me numerous PMs about making a certain thread.

That me and Hunter have both agreed to be a bad idea. To which, we would allow it, but it will not be stickied. And certainly not considered until the YVD-CCT is over. And yet he keeps talking down to me.

Who is justified?

Why don't you just shorten your post to, "Chevalier sent me a PM. It's about a thread. I don't like the thread. Everyone agree with me." Because you couldn't get any more vague.

To begin with, the thread I proposed to make has nothing to do with this club in the slightest. Why Icy brought it up here is beyond me.

Furthermore, the thread in question was to be a stickied thread (Stickied to promote and instigate activity and interest) in the Realistic Card Section. This thread, if any of you remember it, would resemble in some ways the thread made by Bhim/Jerry Freelance nearly a year ago. In this thread, unbiased reviewers, certainly not just me, would judge and decide if submitted cards were good enough to get members in. From there we would go on with our 7 to 10 members to make one of the best sets YCM has ever seen.

Promptly after proposing the idea to Icy he responded with saying that this was creating an elitist environment that suggested that people were better than others.

Is this site dressed up in pink with unicorns and butterflies moving about? No. it's obvious there's competition between cards in contests and when cards are rated. Competition feeds the urge to get better. What Icy suggests is that no one is better than anyone else at card making. Period.

We have final say about what gets stickied' date=' so thats a no on his behalf.

I told him that he needs to plan it out more if he wants it to work out in general.

I support the idea, I really do but hes not cooperating.

[/quote']

How are you supporting the idea? Humor me.

Also, I've messaged you once or twice. That's a little fast to make an assumption that I'm not cooperating, isn't it?

To add, after being invited to come here, I received this:

No' date=' you will not get a sticky for it. Period.

No means no.

[/quote']

That's a lot to say for just one moderator.

It's more than enough.

You asked, you got a no.

Do anymore and I will ban you.

Icy was playing around with the fact that he is the ultimate authority in CC and that him saying no would somehow override the opinion of another moderator that said yes?

Then comes an upset when says that he'll ban me if I keep trying to negotiate for my idea.

Honestly? Do you hate not having your way so much that you're willing to throw around empty threats and blatantly abuse your power? Is that what all Mods do?

Yes, but you saw how that worked out, didn't you?

No. Thats wrong. We're just trying not put some above others and make it official.

No, it isn't. Especially when you already were given your answer before you even PM'd me.

I told Icy he went overboard when saying that. He'll ban you if you keep it up, after he told you no. You asked permission and permission was not granted, dont become judgmental just because you didn't get your wish. If that means a slap on your wrists, then so be it.

Ah let's flex those nonexistent Mod muscles and ban someone who's on my nerves. Unless YCM is going to the dogs: Normal Mods can't ban, abusing your power is bad, and a ban is not a slap on the wrist.

I'll edit more in when I get home since time is short now. All your points will be addressed.

It didn't need to be any more detailed. I explained you wanted a thread, and after we denied it to be stickied, you started pulling straw out your rear.

To begin with, the thread I proposed to make has nothing to do with this club in the slightest. Why Icy brought it up here is beyond me.

At one point during our argument, that you'd ask everyone. So I did you the favor and brought it to the public eye in a spot where I knew it would be contained.

Furthermore, the thread in question was to be a stickied thread (Stickied to promote and instigate activity and interest) in the Realistic Card Section. This thread, if any of you remember it, would resemble in some ways the thread made by Bhim/Jerry Freelance nearly a year ago. 7 to all members. Ive always been against such segregation. An impressive set or not. And if the set is successful enough, you won't need it stickied. The request is suggestible at best knowing this.

Period.

And this is firmly true. Card Contests is a mention of small pride. It is not a status icon by any means.

One could assume that I have talked about it and that I was irritated that you kept going on after your questions answer was and IS no. And to the ban thing, like it or not, you are blatantly disregarding a mods opinion, and while I do consider my position lower than a member, we are the final say in all such matters.

Then comes an upset when says that he'll ban me if I keep trying to negotiate for my idea.

Honestly? Do you hate not having your way so much that you're willing to throw around empty threats and blatantly abuse your power? Is that what all Mods do?

You didn't negotiate your idea, I first offered it in AoC to allow ALL members from all colors of CardMaking to be a part of it. So I lowered my bar, and offered it in RC, on the terms that it not be stickied at all.

Now you say that I'm not negotiating, when you stood firm from the start? How dare you.

As long as this card remains face-up on your side of the field, face-up Dinosaur-Type monsters you control cannot be selected as an attack target. Once per turn, you can Tribute 2 Dinosaur-Type monsters you control to draw 2 cards.

Meh, same as what i told you over pm, bud.
