No. But, I might a little.

I saw the Archfiend ones... Though it seemed to follow it's own path after awhile.

And you could have used "Fallen Angel"s instead, it being an already existing archetype.

Well Both are Swarm, you just have the problem of draw power. In fact, another card I created was just for draw power, but it mills so fast you could crap your pants...

Oh, I wasn't even considering Exodia in that part. If people started running Exodia+Cost of Return decks, they would ban or limit it upcoming banlist... XD

 

It was mostly for mill/draw power... Sometimes there is a card in the graveyard I could use, or sometimes I could find a card from the five I discard as useful... I also made a pot of avarice for spells/traps...

Also some Pop Culture cards: Star Wars the Force unleashed. I dueled Xirno with them and she limit/banned a few so the result deck wasn't all that good. Not meta but not horrible. Kinda like Zombies...

Each time a Spell Card is activated place 1 Spell Counter on this card, you can remove all Spell Counters on this card to inflict 500 damage to your opponent for each removed Spell Counter. When this card on the field is destroyed, you can Special Summon 1 "Tempest Magician" from your Graveyard.

Rate/Hate/ Love?

This card can be Special Summoned by removing from play 1 Spellcaster-Type monster in your hand. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, all Machine-Type monsters cannot be removed from play. When a Machine-Type monster is removed from the field, place 1 Spell Counter on this card. By removing 3 Spell Counters from this card, you can destroy 1 face-down card on the field. By removing 5 Spell Counters from this card, you can destroy 1 face-up card on the field.

Maybe make it gain Spell counters faster? Decrease the amount of Spell Counters to activate the effect?

 

Exploring or exploiting? Was it a typo maybe?

 

-1 for a card that prevents RFP in a situational way. And requires a lot of counters to get its good effects... Arcanite Magician is better and easier.
