Toffee.
Note: This will be quite large, Considering it has images to help you out even more. Yay! First Tutorial!(Please dont rag on me if my spelling/grammer is terrible) Now look.. You have seen some of the card art I made, Like my Ms.Paint cards for example. Well I made them on Ms.Paint(kinda obveious...), And I'll show/tell you how I do it. So you can make easy card images aswell =D First off, Lets start with something easy. In this case, A Toaster. Here is an example image:I call him Toasterbot :3 Now allthough it might seem complicated to make, Its actually really easy. Body:You see, If you break it down, Its just a bunch of shapes: Right?Well lets start off with the body. The body is just a simple square shape: Now, You want to copy the square, And pase it on the origional, and just dispace it a little bit: Next, You want to connect the edges using the 'Line' tool. While your at it, You want to add the 'chambers'(?) for the toast: Thare, Now the body is complete! =D Arm:Now look, We all know that curved edges tend to be a pain now and then, right? Well look at this:Yes, The arm is actually 2 circles pasted ontop of eachother :O Now if you look closely, You have an ideal arm shape! You just have to cut it out first: And finally, For the Hand, You just make a sall circle and a 2nd small/thin circle. Just copy and paste: But dont attach the hand to the body just yet! Construction:By now, Your image should look like this: For a pair of eyes, Just make then anime-esque.You know, A small circle with a smaller circle inside of it, Then yet another small circle inside that one to show light reflection.Example: Now for a mouth, You just take that same circle cut out that you used for the arm, And just cover up the 1 end. After that, Just put little +s in the mouth. Look, Its an easy way to make teath, And it makes them look cool: By now, Your 'doodle' should look like this:Yes, You can stick the arm, eyes, and mouth on it, and even color it Touch-Up:Look, Its not mutch of a toaster unless you stick toast in it.So do this.Just make a square-ish shape, and color it orange: Simply cut the shape in half, copy it, and paste it in each of the 'chambers': Now, For a little fun!For mine, I made one of those wind-up gear thingys and made 2 simple feet:Why? Because mine is a Toaster-BotBut, Since your the artist, Your free to make what ever you want. And when your finished, It should look something like this: And thare you have it!I simple way to make cartoonish charactors for use on your yugioh cards! =D By the way.. Feal free to post YOUR cartoonish charactors here that were made with this Tutorial, So you can compare them with Toasterbot =D Link to comment
