Dark
Pictures on Yu-Gi-Oh cards are dirty? After some YuGiOh Wikia searching, it is safe to say 99% of cards do not look like Hentai. The 1% that does is very minor, with exclusions to Dark Magician Girl(s). Konami may be idiots, but I think they know well enough not to make a porny card picture. Stop complaining and live with it, you won't be able to change it.
ragnarok1945
From all the cards I've seen, even 1% sounds a little too high to be similar to hentai
Dark
Exactly, and should anyone really care about that minor percentage that BARELY looks like Hentai? Either way, you cannot change it, so why complain it?
ragnarok1945
Again, some people are WAY too sensitive on the topic. They can't let it go
Command Knight
A couple of the pictures are dirty.... I guess.... But Yu-Gi-Oh! isn't a kid's card game! People here in America think it's a child's game because when they "Translate" the episodes they make look stupid. If people in America watched the Japanese version of Yu-Gi-Oh! they would love it. Dr.Pain and I agreed that they should have the Japanese Yu-Gi-Oh episodes on American TV.
tommers2008
yugioh cards are not dirty end of discussion... they might show a womans curve here or there but as someone has mentioned b4 its just art... and it isn't anything to get worried about anybody that gets upset or offended by it or anything like that is really immature.. and on the kinda off topic discussion: yugioh is a card game 4 almost any age.. the only reason most consider it that way is because of 4kids and what they have done to make it more appealing to younger viewers to bring in more $$$.. You really think a 6 year old can play this game? They have to be at least 10 before they start to see how the game works
Dark
And most people who are older grow out of playing that game. But why should it matter? It is a picture, on a piece of paper, with characters on it. I could put porn on a card and no one would really care.
ragnarok1945
*shrugs* well no matter what kind of art it is, you still should respect the artist a LITTLE bit for his/her skills in drawing

Hobbes96
Why do they bother editing cards? Is america more sensitive than japan?no. they just tried to designate ygo to six year olds instead of thirteen year olds.so, simply put, ygo isn't getting more graphic, konami or whoever is not editting the cards as much anymore. they must think that the players are just growing up. ragnarok1945
the US just doesn't want more children corrupted at such an early age
Enrise
Like I said in my early post, some kids know some profinity, and so may even know the complete body parts of the human body, so why even bother. They can't see anything. We already have discused this topic to it's need extent, right?
ragnarok1945
pretty much. Just leave everything the way it is and we'll be fine
Wyhe
Well, yugioh is always intended for earlier teens in the first place. Children were just a side effect who grew interested in them.
ragnarok1945
yeah, blame 4Kids for saying the show is meant for 7 year olds and therefore they thought the card game itself was too
Wyhe
Anime were designed by the Japanese for both teens & young adults, but kids got into the mix when they became interested.
ragnarok1945
well what do you expect? It's the same with films these days. You put an R rating on one saying it cannot be viewed unless you're 17 or older, half the people in the theater is under 17 anyway
Wyhe
In terms of a movie, unless it is a favourite or some dating scheme, adults won't go to see movies. Children & teens make up the most in a movie's audience. Not to mention they have ways of seeing the movie no matter what nowadays.
Yugiohrulez!
I'm 10, i play the game, kill my friends in it. Anyway, i don't think it's THAT bad, they're typically in some Armored bikini type thing.
