Okay, so after unsuccessful attempts to create a Fire Emblem RP and a massive-scale MMORPG, I decided to go for a mega-crossover, as is my specialty. This has to do with taking SSB characters, plopping them into my world of "Metacrystal", and seeing how they fare. But first, the species of genus Bellicus, which all of them are.

[spoiler=Species]

Bellicus singularis, commonly called monomorphs. Cannot change their form in any way. Monomorphs are dominant on Metacrystal; their kingdoms include Ghostzone (Ghost species), Akanelibe (Human species), and Dreamland (Waddle Dee and Cappy species). Most are hostile to other species, Akanelibe citizens excepted.

Bellicus metamorphis (normalis, ensis), commonly called metamorphs. Can alter their own forms, and the forms of others around them. normalis is a standard metamorph, while ensis is a MetaKnight, which can metamorph certain objects into superspace (i.e. make them disappear). There is only one republic of metamorphs, which is currently headed by Zelda.

Bellicus myriamorphis, commonly called myriamorphs. Can create clones of themselves, often for limited times. These are fairly uncommon, and face heavy ostracization, so they often either pass themselves off as monomorphs or create armies of themselves and wage war on the world, depending on their power level.

Bellicus omnipotens, commonly called omnimorphs. Can create clones of themselves, and all the clones have metamorphic powers. The most famous omnimorphs of all time were gods, Arceus and Master Hand; the former's rebellion against the latter ended in the annihilation of Pokémon. None known alive today.

Now, then, characters & roles from old editions of Smash.

[spoiler=Original Smashers (NPCs)]

Mario: A famous war veteran and active plumber. Famously killed his brother in self-defense ten years ago.

Luigi: Deceased. Former plumber & war veteran. Famously attacked his older brother Mario ten years ago, and was killed.

Peach: Mario's spouse & prominent Akanelibe politician. Sympathizes with meta/myria/omnimorphs.

Bowser: Half-dragon & friend of Mario. Keeps a lair in Norfair.

Donkey Kong: Famed war veteran & ape known for his (relative) intelligence. Very friendly.

Diddy Kong: Son of Donkey Kong. Very eager.

Yoshi: Representative of the Yoshi Confederacy in the Morphic Senate. Once knew Mario.

Wario: Infamous thief. Current location unknown.

Link: Legendary hero known for surviving a conflict with Master Hand. Current location unknown.

Zelda: Leader of the Metamorph Council. Once knew Link.

Toon Link: Link's adopted son. Current location unknown; last seen with his father.

Ganondorf: Famous metamorph who vanished in service to Master Hand, creator of the universe. Current location unknown.

Samus: Member & military advisor of the Metamorph Council, who gave land grants to Bowser. Also, sister of Link. Ill-tempered.

Pit: Representative of the Skyworld Commonwealth on the Morphic Senate. Loathes MetaKnights because of the continual assaults on Skyworld by the DemoKnights.

Ice Climbers: Leaders of the Metamorphic TalTal Colonization Support Department (MTCSD). Still naïve and cheerful.

R.O.B: Mass produced as security droids. Some military variants have been constructed. No civilian models as of yet.

Kirby: The headmaster of the Metamorph Academy, which teaches metamorphic skills to various metamorphs.

MetaKnight: Seemingly an extinct race, an honorable mercenary calling himself MetaKnight has resurfaced, and he is indeed a MetaKnight. Myriamorphic DemoKnights are actually MetaKnights, however.

DeDeDe: Monomorphic king of Dreamland. Slightly paranoid, especially of meta/myria/omnimorphs.

Olimar: Founder of the International Deep Space Cartography Program (IDSCP), and representative of the Pikmin Empire on the Morphic Senate.

Fox McCloud: Founder of Star Fox Mercenary Crusaders, and fierce rival of Star Wolf.

Falco Lombardi: Member of Star Fox Mercenary Crusaders. Often dishonorable, and clashes with Fox frequently.

Wolf O'Donnel: Founder of Star Wolf Mercenary Assassins. Frequently takes shady jobs, and hates Star Fox.

Captain Falcon: Retired mercenary, he's a racer with a part-time job with the IDSCP.

Pikachu: No living specimens known.

Charizard: Gargoyles with fire breath and short lifespan. Created by evil metamorphs only.

Rukario: A ninja trainer who lives mainly in secret. Loathes Mewtwo.

Mewtwo: Last confirmed sighting firing a Shadow Ball at Rukario during a fight. Current location unknown.

Jigglypuff: No living specimens known.

Marth: King of Akanelibe, he heavily sympathizes with meta/myria/omnimorphs.

Ike: General of the Akanelibe Armed Forces. Very honorable, and shares many of Marth's sentiments.

Roy: Co-ruler of Akanelibe, he's good friends with Marth, and shares many of his beliefs.

Ness: A powerful metamorph and Lucas's good friend.

Lucas: A powerful, but meek, metamorph. Idolizes his friend Ness.

Mr. Game/Watch: Common servants to monomorphic and metamorphic civilians.

Snake: A retired SpecOps agent that specializes in explosives, he runs a bar in Dreamland.

Sonic: A renowned lone-wolf mercenary who accepts low pay for fair jobs. Very bitter.

Now, you can't be any of those guys. :D But you can make your own character, even if they do have to be purely human.

[spoiler=Here's the form.]

Daunting? Well, that's what it takes to join SSBMo. :p It's not as bad as it sounds. Oh, and if you use a character you've used in a previous RP, copy a character from an existing series, or don't delete the stuff in {{}}, you won't get accepted, period.

Ah, and here's the deal on Metacrystal. Basically, some myriamorph is sending armies of DemoKnights to attack Akanelibe. The Metamorphic Federation is hesitant to offer aid, but Akanelibe is crumbling. You are either an Akanelibe soldier or a rogue soldier from the Metamorphic Federation who wishes to help Akanelibe face the DemoKnights. Either way, you've decided that if you round up the old Smashers, you'll do a pretty good job against them, so you and the other RPers are in a party, trying to find as many Smashers as possible.

I sincerely hope you read that slowly and carefully; you'll have no clue what you're doing if you didn't. If you did, have fun! :D

Examples from Link-kun, who won't be in this.

Special Moves:

^: Spin Attack. Link spins with his blade extended, striking opponents multiple times. The last blow is most powerful. In midair, this can be used as a recovery move, with decent horizontal and vertical recovery.

v: Bomb. Link produces and lights a bomb that can be thrown like an item. The bomb explodes after a time, or after it impacts a surface hard enough. The explosion cannot be reflected by Reflector, or countered with Counter; however, the bomb itself can be reflected.

<>: Boomerang. Link throws his boomerang, doing damage to an opponent. The boomerang then returns to Link's rough location, possibly doing damage on the way back. Enemies can be pulled towards Link on the return trip. Only one Boomerang can be on screen at a time.

Neutral: Fairy Bow. Link charges and fires a shot from his Fairy Bow. When fully charged, this does 18% damage, and has almost no knockback, but it stops opponents in their tracks. Arrows arc downwards as they continue; the more charged the shot, the less arcing there is.

Normal Move Descriptions:

1 Smash Attack: Side. Link slashes his sword vertically, pulling the opponent slightly towards him and doing little knockback. The attack can continue with a much more powerful strike intended to finish off an enemy. The first strike averages 19% damage; the second, 30%.

1 Aerial Attack: Forward. Link slashes forward, and then uses his momentum to strike backwards. This attack's knockback is greater than its damage, roughly 8%, would imply.

1 Throw: Up. Link uses his Hookshot to tether-grab opponents. Once grabbed, Link throws them up in the air and stabs them, doing roughly 10% damage total.

Final Smash:

Name: Triforce Slash

Effect: Link traps his opponent inside an immense Triforce symbol. He then slashes repeatedly, doing roughly 100% damage total, and finishes with a powerful strike that does roughly 36% damage and has immense knockback. Surviving this move is almost impossible. Opponents outside the symbol can be hit by any of the strikes, but only the opponent inside the symbol will be trapped. Link is then invincible for one second after the symbol disperses.

Requisite(s): Link must connect with a long beam of light. Rolling, dodging, shielding, Reflecting, and Countering will do nothing to negate this light beam.

Yes, very. :)

Name: Jiaska the Nomad

Age: 1200

Species: metamorph normalis

Special Moves:

^: Desert Secrets. Jiaska lets out a whirlwind of sand that pelts opponents around and close to him. The sand sticks to opponents for five seconds, damaging them in that while.

v: Sands of Time. Twin geysers of sand sprout from the ground away from Jiaska to either sides of the stage. Whenever the geysers hit an enemy, they freeze temporarily.

<>: Sand Beast. Jiaska fires a ball of sand, causing 20% to whoever it hits.

Neutral: Marriage to the Ground. Jiaska lays flat on the ground and sets out a sand equivalent to a mine, which causes 12%.

Normal Move Descriptions:

1 Smash Attack: Vertical. Jiaska jumps upside down, grabbing his opponent and pummeling him in the face causing 4% damage every hit. Can hit to a maximum of 6 times.

1 Aerial Attack: Fountain. A column of sand springs up from the ground, carrying Jiaska upward, hitting nearby opponents with 15% damage.

1 Throw: Destroyer. Latches onto opponent's throat throwing him like a flail to the ground three times (2% each) then punching him in the face (5%) and throwing him to the ground.

Final Smash:

Name: Revenge of the Souls

Effect: A sandy pyramid erects from the center of the stage with a large emerald in the top altar of it. Out of the altar swarms many ghost like beings that pummel opponents with 2% each strike. After ten seconds the pyramid crumbles. Jiaska cannot attack and is vulnerable during this phase.

Requisite(s): Cannot be being attacked by opponents or enemies.

Audition: Jiaska the Nomad's sand crusted mask glowed like a torchlight in the empty barrens of the desert. His cloak was much too long for him and he continuously tripped on it's long brown hide cape. But he never fell flat on the sand, instead the sand seemed to cushion his fall. The Nomad remained weary and looked about the empty desert, finally discovering that there was no possible way any life form would live in such a barren place. His amber like eyes stared, focused at a high summit erect on top of a green hill like a sheep in a forest of foxes. Jiaska's shoes were rough and had seen many steps traveling across Metacrystal in a neverending journey to everywhere. Finally he reached the vertical slope of the hill, covered with vertically growing trees and shrubbery. Suddenly, as if waiting to jump out, the sand under Jiaska's feet began rising. Slowly but steadily rising like a Roman column being erected on a sacred temple. Finally the sand reached the top of the cliff and Jiaska stepped off, the sand behind him falling as if it had never meant to be there. Jiaska studied his surroundings closely, finally resting on a group of squabbling DemoKnights standing guard outside the temple. The Nomad moved swiftly, letting his hands reach out as the sand suddenly formed into a crude sword, and Jiaska let out a light swish...

The DemoKnights were dead, there many vital body parts pierced by the crusty blade. Jiaska smiled behind his mask and entered the temple. There was a small emerald which the DemoKnights had been guarding. Suddenly from all the corners of the temple sprang DemoKnights, swooshing toward the Nomad like Furies bringing messages of death on their bat like wings. Suddenly, sand filled the entire room, collapsing on the DemoKnights, suffocating them utterly. As if not aware of such a grim spectacle, Jiaska stepped up the emerald and fitted it a round hole in the temple of his mask. Suddenly, in a swirl of dust and sand, he was gone.

It's... epic win. O,x

Two problems, though. 1: It's broken. Very. 2: I have trouble believing that this is character will be exclusive to the Morphic universe, though you can certainly use the [CRVR] tag to assuage this particular concern.

Well, I'll be sure to tone down the super sand powers, those were just there because I had to make a hasty audition. Also, since he's kind of like a dimensional traveler (hence the name Nomad) I guess the [CRVR] can be used. If you have any suggestions on how to improve it, then I'm all ears.

The attacks should do a *lot* less damage. The strongest smash attack in the game is Bowser's with 50% at both hits; I'm discouraged by the idea of admitting a supporting character with a smash that does 72% damage, and a throw that does four-to-five times as much damage as it ought to

ooc: I can't say no to Lord Davok's generous invitation, and since me and Gamesmaster have been RP'ing for awhile how could I not join?

Name: Vain

Age: 4,756

Species: singularis

Special Moves:

^: Spiritual Blade: Vain slashes upward with a ghostly dagger, and gives a slight knock back.

v: Spiritual Slash: Vain slashes downward and then kicks the opponent upward.

<>: Spiritual Pistol: Vain shoots once from a ghostly pistol to hit one enemy. This does 13% damage to an opponent.

Neutral: Vanish: Vain can vanish and reappear 5 yards away in any direction, giving him a slight edge in his battles. While "vanished" Vain receives no damage and cannot be hit

Normal Move Descriptions:

1 Smash Attack: Forward: Vain uses Spiritual Energy to forcefully hit his opponent, giving a medium push back. This would do about 9%

1 Aerial Attack: Upwards: Vain delivers a spiritually powered kick to an opponent that launches them upwards. This would do about 7%

1 Throw: Backwards: Vain grabs an opponent by the collar, spins them slightly, and then throws them backwards viciously. 8% damage in total

Final Smash:

Name: Spiritual Ravage

Effect: Vain charges his fist with spiritual energy and then slams the ground causing a massive eruption of energy to hit all nearby opponents. Vain cannot attack, but cannot be attacked. This attack hits each enemy for 28% and causes a large knock back.

Requisite(s): Needs 30 second preparation time.

Audition: There's never sun, there's never weather, and there's hardly any life. Ghostzone belongs to the spiritual beings of this world. I have never known anywhere else, I have never gone anywhere else, and I would usually never decide to go anywhere else. Being a spiritual entity my life was never complicated, as a matter of fact it was just to simple. I didn't eat, I didn't drink, I didn't sleep, and I really couldn't live being a spiritual entity. It was my same old routine every single day for over four thousands years. Simply to wander this world as a spiritual entity and never really questioning where it is I was going. My last name, I don't remember. My life before I past, I couldn't tell you. My family, friends, enemies; all forgotten. Today I was given a new chance at a new life. I was told to start this world, I was told to start THE WORLDS war, but most of all. I was told to start MY war....

Uh... thirty seconds? In a full-scale battle, that's an eternity.

Also, you do realize that your units are on a single party of heroes, unconditionally?

May I join?

Name: Tao

Age: 22

Species: metamorph normalis

Special Moves:

^: Bird of Light: Tao creates a bird out of light and hops on. While on, you can control the bird’s flight and make it spread its wings, causing 8% damage, but slowing its flight. After 5 seconds, the bird disappears.

v: Tiger of Light: Tao absorbs light for about 6 seconds and turns into a tiger. Once formed the tiger can only go in the direction Tao was facing before the transformation. It may go slow, but causes 13% damage when hit by it. When the tiger passes the screen, Tao appears where the tiger was launched.

<>: Dragon of Light: Tao forms a snake-like dragon that moves in a spiraling motion. If hit, you get trapped in the spiraling motion until the dragon ends. While inside, you deal 3% damage each second inside the spiraling dragon. The dragon goes on for about 6 seconds, and Tao, even though he cannot be launched during this attack, is vulnerable to damage.

Neutral: Arrow of Light: Tao takes out his bow and arrow and fires a controllable arrow that deals 5% damage. The special thing about the arrow is that when it hits somebody, it doesn’t stick to them, but goes through them. The arrow becomes nothing after about 5 seconds.

Normal Move Descriptions:

1 Smash Attack: Forwards: Tao charges light in his right foot, then swings his left foot, doing 3% damage, then swings his right foot, doing 19% damage.

1 Aerial Attack: Up: Tao shoots a small beam upwards. Does at least 10% damage.

1 Throw: Up: Tao releases a force field and if something is trapped in it, he takes it and holds it in the air, then throws it away, doing 5% damage.

Final Smash:

Name: Summer Solstice

Effect: Tao brings out the sun into the top right corner and infuses with it. Then he uses the sun’s energy and creates a beam of light that can be moved and causes 20% damage each hit. The sun moves from the top right corner to the bottom left corner in a counter clockwise motion. Tao can also create electricity that does no damage but can paralyze whatever it hits.

Requisite(s): The beam decreases as time goes by. Hitting the sun causes it to move a little faster.

Audition: Light beamed down on Tao's face as he walked down the gravel road, kicking stones on the way. He was bored. While he was walking he saw a man standing still. As he walked closer he noticed that it wasn't a man, but a statue. "But why build a statue where there is nothing?" Tao was thinking. As he examined the statue he noticed a necklace on its neck. He, being very curious about things, took the necklace. With no warning a storm mysteriously came out of nowhere. Then the necklace started glowing and, with no hesitation, Tao put the necklace back and started running. But as he was running a wall of light with strange incarnations on it sprang up to block his way. He looked around, but there was no exit. Just as he was about to give up, the statue started talking. It said,"He..who..has been..chosen. You..must..save Akanelibe.. with the.. other.. chosen ones.. from the... DemoKn-." The statue sounded like it was choking on DemoKn- but after that it stopped talking and crumbled. All that was left was the necklace that Tao decided to take with him. When the statue crumbled, so did the wall and the storm was gone. As he continued walking he thought he heard footsteps behind him, but he shook it of and kept walking.

I love it. Change the age to something more reasonable, though, and change those durations to something more realistic for Brawl, and I can accept.
