i like the new format,

i think it's mostly because it appeals to older teenage people,

because it's like facebook and a forum put together,

it's actually pretty awesome :)

 

I have mixed feelings, but got tired already of saying the negative parts so..

 

BTW, I have a question... do you know how to find older threads? I mean, threads that are yours. Like your Toon cards and such.

I don't know how to see my history until that much back in time.

To see your threads, follow these steps:

Right under the YCM logo at the top of the page, you'll see your profile pic and the text "logged as xxxx". Click there. Select "My content" at the menu appearing. Then the list of all your posts and threads will appear. There you can select the filter "View all topics xxxx has started".

 

Mmmm.... Seems like I cannot access the older of the oldest ones, and all my threads in Showcase are locked...

I'm happy we have as much as 7 different members commenting in this page ^-^

Now we only need more activity.

 

I'm just going to suggest something randomly so that we can have something to do/talk about/etc.

 

What about a little art exchange? (I think Fuzzie did it before though)

 

If no1 wants to participate.. I had nothing to loose by just suggesting it, xD

You must pick 2 things. A member, and a pic that is not yours nor the selected member's. You have them remake that pic on their style.

 

People that are interested just tell me (but I need at least 4 or 5 peoplez for it to be entertaining ;P )

 

we'll decide on the above when/if I get any replies from all who want to join.

Just to make sure people don't get the same thing twice or choosing a piece from the same member twice (if possible)... Last time half the members wanted to draw Crimson Memory Dragon (me included ^^" )

 

Just a suggestion but, what does everyone say? :)

Club is kinda... slow these days, talks are a little random (if there are any). WE MUST STAND. AND FIGHT!! THIS IS SPARTA!!!!

wait, if u dont draw something of yours or something of someone elses, what do u draw? O.o

was that a typo?

You pick... lets say, me (hypothetically)

You tell me to draw something, but you can't have me draw something YOURS or something MINE. You must choose something from another member for me to do.

Realistic Cards I can't do very often and when I've done, I just don't get enough comments and if I do, most of them are bad and useless ratings or unreasonable accusations.

This club.... It takes days to get a single comment in here, the leader doesn't even post @ the forum anymore, bumping it doesn't do much, suggesting activities doesn't work either, and there hasn't been a single pic in ages other than the link to your pic @showcase... This is hardly a club (and more than 75% of the members never come).

TCG is actually my only place of interest and that's very sad.

 

*goes crying*

 

Come on peoples. If you don't want to, you can still post and ignore my post...

The ALD doesn't die. Not like this.

 

I apologize for the unwarned hiatus, but I had band camp. I feel bad for not paying much attention to the ALD lately, but that will change, I promise.

 

You are more than welcome to keep this thread alive, in fact, I prefer that. I will get the ALD manga off the ground, but I'm going to need everyone else's help as well. I know everyone's busy with life, but if we stay dedicated, we can make it happen.

 

We've lost too many ALD members, just because the ALD was no longer interesting to them, and had lost appeal all together. I will make sure that there is always something to participate in, and always something to do from now on.

 

I will post here once a week at the very least, and once a day at the least on the new ALD Forums.

 

As for the ALD Forums, I know many of your are probably opposed to having our own Forum, thinkin we don't need it. But I'm sure as sleepy and Saikano can tell you, if you give it a chance, you won't be dissapointed. I will continue to teach myself how to improve the forum more and more, making it increasingly enjoyable.

 

So please at least give the ALD Forums a chance. Give the ALD one last chance. I'm sure all of you remember the fun times we've had here, at least I know I do. I have had big dreams for the ALD since it began, and I know there has to be somewhere deep down where you have big dreams for us too. I'm not about to just let all of that go, because it's easier to live and let die. I know that someday the ALD will come to an end, and we will all go our seperate ways, but I'm not going to use that as an excuse.

 

Let's utilize this moment in time so that we can look back on it as something that was a big part of our lives. I want to enjoy the ALD to the fullest extent. I don't want to just go back to the good old days. I want to recreate them. Who's with me?

Fuzzie. I know this is completely unrelated but, I wanted to say I just realized none of the links @ your first post of the club work. They are all going @404Error

 

OT now: I'll support you.

 

Its not about exchanging this club with the ALD forum. Its about getting the best out of both places.

 

We need to stay here because staying in an enclosed space away from the rest of the world is no good. We can still do tihngs here like before. Well... with the new YCM changes it might get a little different but still not bad..

 

The ALD forums are algo good because its an ideal storage place for us, nothing will get spammed, nothing will get deleted, and "necrobump" and "lock" will probably not exist. Every project stored there will be easy to reach and there's more free space to organize. Everyone can (obviously) post their things at YCM as well for external opinions and whatnot.
