I think he means shading without having it look like a 3D image, I personally like them as anime-like shading than 3D shading.

One of the things I don't like of 5ds, is the 3D monsters that appear, or any 3D image for that matter, once something is 3D, its no longer anime to me =/

(I'm purely talking about the 5ds anime here)

All those scenes were Red Demon Dragon or Stardust Dragon are Summoned in the anime and donot look anime-ish, and pretty much all the parts were Savior Dragon and Savior Star appeared, they never looked anime-like in the anime, or Boomer's motorbike by that matter..

Looks like something doesn't belong there...

if your talking about what i think you are xing then i have this to say

when an anime is colored it uses very little shading, it has very simple shades, this is because it takes about 12000 still frames to make just one episode, and it'd take forever to color them all in great detail

this is why on the cards, if you haven't noticed, they are very detailed drawings in a small little box that can be printed a million times, so you want it to look the best it can. So this is why us as a club make our cards look more, not 3 dimensional, but add more complex shading to our cards, because if we did simple shades the cards would look uninteresting and boring

The wierdest things give me dreams.

I can stay up until midnight watching a marathon of a haunting and not have a single bad dream about it, but I talk to you guys about 3D effects on stardust dragon and I get a really wierd dream.

[spoiler=What was it?]

I was at a camp that I had never seen before that was out in the wilderness. However, there was a futuristic building that looked somewhat like an airplane hanger, and was all dark inside.

My cousin, Grappler, all of the sudden showed up, even though he doesn't even go to my school. We decided to check out what was inside the mysterious building. When we got inside, we saw a huge mechnical Stardust Dragon positionted on some poles being perfectly still...and then its head fell off...and, I don't know how to explain this next part, but...it inflated. The eye began to stare at us in a menacing way as the rounded stardust head that was 3 time our size began to roll around the hanger trying to squash us.

Didn't understand a word Nikki said.

But I'm with sleepy.

5Ds DOES has 3D Cutscenes. In Season 2' date=' or the Dark Signer crap, look at the intro. Stardust and Archfiend are 3D.
