Spirit Crystals are a series of cards that's focused on piercing and burn damages, they are mostly rock types and Earth monsters.

This card cannot be Normal-summoned or Set, this card can only be Special-Summoned by the effects of "Sharp Edge". When this card battles a monster with higher ATK than this card, reduce that monster's attack to it's original attack.

This card cannot be Normal-summoned or Set, this card can only be Special-Summoned by the effects of "Sharp Shooting". While this card is in face-up Defense Position, this card can attack your opponent directly.

4Spirit Crystal - Schneider

Level 5

Rock / Effect

This card cannot be Normal-summoned or Set, this card can only be Special-Summoned by the effects of "Sharp Combat".During battle between this attacking card and a Defense Position monster whose DEF is lower than the ATK of this card, inflict the difference as Battle Damage to your opponent. If this card attacks, it is changed to Defense Position at the end of the Damage Step. If this card is destroyed, destroy 1 monster your opponent controls.

Overall theme is interesting

it's Panzer and Jaeger if that you want the german words.

It does rely a little too much on trap and spell cards though.
