Yush' date=' same w/Psychokinesis though.

except you can just normal summon a lv4 or lower psychic and blow up ANY card.

Psychokinesis >>> this crap

Psychokinesis has an added cost. It's quite easy to Summon a Synchro monster these days, and this gives you an extra removal on top of the Synchro monster's madskills.

Hammer, Fissure, and Smashing don't let you choose which card you want to destroy.

As for Man-Eater Bug, I think it speaks for itself.

Special Summoning a Synchro monster isn't THAT MUCH harder than summoning a Psychic, + you get a Synchro, and Synchros are gonna help ya. Normal Summon, + 2 easy Special Summons (The Tuner+ the Synchro afterward) and you gawt lotsa yum.

Let's make an in-depth comarison.

Psych: Summon some LV 4- Psych, play Psyc, blow somethin' up n' take 1000. Since the only real purpose of LV4- Psychs in competive play these days is to get out a Synchro however, you're going to want a little more and do this...

Wave: Special Summon some monster, Summon some Tuner, Synchro, Sound, and you take out 1 o' your opponent's cards AND you have a shiny Synchro card which is the only use for Psychics outside of pure Psychic Decks which aren't used in competive play, AND you dun' lose 1000 LP, which is anothwer tiny bonus. So, better, and not THAT MUCH harder to pull off if you've got a good Deck with multiple ways of easily Special Summoning monsters.

Your argument that Psychokinesis is better because it can destroy ANY card (backrows too) is faulty at best since you'll have wasted your card if you run into a chainable, and chainables make up most of the backrow cards people are gonna set.

At least they let Evolution Burst destroy any card. This can't even hit the backfield.

And that's terrible.

^Soul's good' date=' but opp gains 1000 and it can't take out facedown monstahs.

I read this as "facedown monarchs" - probably because Tea Leaf just used Book of Moon on my Caius.

I used Soul Taker when I had my BotR' date=' and my opponent hated that their monster got removed from play:).

Rolling Stone gives this 5 Stars.

For everyone spazzing over how this can't hit the backfield, remember kids, you're not going to want to hit the backfield anyway, since they'll chain and you'll be screwed over.

More options is invariably better than fewer options (unless, of course, the additional options make the card banworthy). If the opponent has COSR/Oppression/Drain/a Field Spell or something that just might be Torrential/Mirror/whatever lurking there, I want to have the option of hitting it.
