Well before we start...I take it we are all currently in the Digital World, yes? What is the actual setting so as to allow us some room to do our first posts.

Sushi: You are all waiting in the Chamber of Naught, not having met Ytidens and co, and just getting to know each other. I'll intrude when I figure you know each other well enough.

No, you cannot; it must have a separate will and body. Even normally Frontier-exclusive Digimon (namely, Strabimon and Flaremon) must follow this law.

Vincent found himself entering a strange room after his meeting with the Lord of the Digital World, King Yggdrasil. From what he was able to gather this was known as the Chamber of Naught. Eventually he was able to make out the form of other people, seemingly these were the chosen children along with himself who were prepared for it all.

 

As he finally came into the light, his young figure had become visable to the others as his partner, Batmon floated in mid-air next to him to which she opened her mouth. "These are the others, Vincent." Vincent was quite aware of this, but it was nice to know that Batmon was confirming it for him. "I see...makes sense I suppose." With this in mind, Vincent awaited for a response from one of the other chosen ones.

Alexandra felt uncertain about her current location. She was in a strange, dark room, and her partner Gazimon stood beside her. The two couldn't quite stand each other, and Alexandra wasn't entirely sure if the strange creature would eat her. Then she saw a few other people in the room, but only one of them looked entirely human. The other human was a boy, and a pink bat-like creature was floating next to him. The creature was probably a Digimon, like Gazimon. Alexandra had heard of the Digimon Trading Card Game, but she wasn't interested in it. She didn't think that was a good thing.

 

Alexandra was hoping the boy would know more, so she walked up to him.

"Do you have any idea what's going on?" she asked, hoping for a reliable answer.

 

OoC: Sorry for not posting earlier. I'm on vacation, and the hotel has a really bad connection.

As Vincent had begun to move forward into the light, catching a glimpse of those around him one particular figure caught his attention. This figure was quite slender, and also quite beautiful to add to that. She had a blueish green hair mix that was short and down to about her neck, and it appeared she had a Digimon Partner in the form of Gazimon.

 

He then heard her sweet gentle voice call out to him, her questioning had gotten him stuck for words before Batmon nudged him to get him to reply. "Don't mind Vincent, he has only just gotten here himself..." After hearing what Batmon had said he then started to speak himself. "Well...you seem to have a Digimon Partner like me, which means we, or rather the group of us must be here to help out this Digital World...at least from what I have gathered anyway..." Once he had finished he was then at a loss for words once more, as he continued to admire this young girl that stood before him.

"Er, not exactly," a voice boomed around the chamber, echoing down to the present DigiDestined. "Well, yes — and no."

 

After reveling in his audience's panicked confusion for a moment, Ytidens revealed himself, Dreadmon beside him. "Ytidens," the phantom introduced, "and Dreadmon. Quondam DigiDestined and partner, and chief liberators of this poor, poor world. Questions?" he offered, knowing there would be many.

Biography: When Digi World 318 was created, so was a special program. This program named Roscuro is designed to be an artificial digimon tamer with the purpose of eliminating major threats to the digital world. Genocidedramon is cruel and powerful enough to fit this description very well. To combat him Roscuro has raised a small army of machine digimon loyal to him. Realizing his army won't be enough, Roscuro has allied with Ytidens in order to exterminate Genocidedramon.

Personality: Roscuro has a strong sense of justice. However he is willing to do whatever is necessary for this justice, including underhanded tactics or joining a less than pure army. However he will never betray anybody willingly or kill an innocent being. He can be cynical but usual means exactly what he says.

OoC: Well, that's just the thing, he's conveniently neglected to tell everyone what his vision for the perfect world is. It's good, though, not dystopian. Intro yourself; Ytidens just made a dramatic entrance.

I have a question. Roscuro says stepping out of the shadows with his ProtoDroidmon on his left shoulder. What does Quondam mean and what did you call us for ProtoDroidmon stares at Dreadmon, and it's green eye briefly flashes as it scans Dreadmon's data.

 

ooc: the key power of the droidmon line is to scan digimon, this lets them know what the digimon can do, future evolutions and gives the droidmon a small increase in power from the scanned data, the higher the droidmon's level the more data it can scan. Scanning is harmless and barely noticeable, yet useful enough to make ProtoDroidmon very powerful.

"Quondam," Ytidens explained, "is synonymous with former. As in, I was a DigiDestined, until the others got me killed with their idiocy."

 

"Now, then," he continued. "You are here because you are going to be part of my liberation force. This world is currently under the control of an insane, megalomaniacal torturer of a Digimon called Genocidramon. Our job is to unseat him. Once we pull that off, we can continue planning from there.

 

"Any more questions?" he finished.

OoC: I take it your xDing was at my character...admiring Roxas' character, lol.

 

IC:

After listening to what had to be said, first by Ytidens and then by the new comer, Vincent suddenly calmed down and became less distracted than he had been a few moments ago. As he stood perfectly calm Batmon started floating around him looking about herself to check her surroudings as well as Vincent's surroudings.

 

"That is all good and well, Ytidens but what is your plan to obtaining this so called perfect world?" Batmon seemingly called out a bold question towards Ytidens, not even feeling the slightest bit intimidated by the one called Ytidens as she awaited her answer, however just then Vincent brought up his own question. "I must agree with Batmon, it seems somewhat strange why you would need us simply to remove a corrupt Digimon...which brings me to the question of what you meant by you WAS a DigiDestined."

Biography:

At the age of 6, Valon’s mother died, in a terrible murder, Soon after his father disappeared. He was forced to move into a foster home. At first he would bully the kid’s at the foster home to take out his anger about his parents accidents. Soon after he realized the best way to forget about everything that had happened to him over the last year, was to just take life easy. At the age of 10, the police alerted Valon that they had a lead on where his father was. The lead was on a blog from a user name “Digital”. When the police gave him the link, he ran upstairs to his computer, locked the door. And went to the blog. Then A Pop Up came up and said “It Is Finally Time”. Then the computer started to show different color swirls as if a portal. Valon was dazed at the sight, all of a sudden he was absorbed into the computer where he found himself in a new exotic land. He then learned he was in the Digital World, from a small Cat-Like creature by the name of Leormon. Leormon and Valon became very close friends, but after a week of being in the digital world Valon was shot out of the computer. When he returned he found a device in his pocket. He called it “Digi-Vice”. Valon has long wanted to go back. At the age of 14 his wish came true.

Personality: Carefree. That is the best way to describe Valon. At school teacher's tend to hate him. He never does any work, and always takes the easiest way at life.

The boy, Vincent, seemed rather interesting. But then, a strange being introducing himself as Ytidens appeared. Apparently he was dead? Alexandra ignored the other person in the room - Roscuro - and decided she did in fact have a question.

 

"Um, this may be kind of personal, but....why would the other DigiDestined kill you?"

I Realize that Sushi, but a few post ago Supreme Gamemaster said the evolution line must be altered a bit

Ytidens sighed. "I guess I'll answer Alexandra's question first, as its answer will lead into Vincent's. I would have thought it was obvious what paradise is.

 

"First of all, they didn't kill me directly. We were battling Lucemon, leader of the Seven Demon Lords we had been tasked to defeat. We'd managed to overpower him, and he started to retreat, but the other idiots chased him, convinced they could destroy him right away. He summoned some other Demon Lords, loosed a shadow dragon, and destroyed the island I was on, thereby killing Dreadmon and me." He gestured to the flickering fractal code of a flying squid, which was playing some dramatic music.

 

"That leads into the other question," he continued. "I turned the Demon Lords against each other, Lucemon absorbed them, I joined with Imperialdramon, and then we destroyed the Demon Lords. Our task complete, I was no longer a DigiDestined.

 

"But now," he added, "Yggdrasil is entrusting me with you folks, who are now to fill the roles of DigiDestined and generals, admirals, et cetera. First, though, I'd like to test your abilities." The floor beneath the Destined seemed to vanish, leaving only blackness.

 

"It is impossible to die in the Naught Gauntlet," he cautioned. "This is only a test of your abilities and skill. Your task is to progress as far as possible, using only the troops available to you. Good luck," he smirked, vanishing. Dreadmon did so as well, though his music, now changing to an intriguing, Zelda-esque dungeon theme, rang on, the only sound in the blackness.

 

Giant bricks of stone began flying through the darkness. The first several bricks locked together, forming a platform upon which the DigiDestined were supported. After that, more bricks began to launch themselves at the warriors.

ooc: What is my maximum digivolution level right now (what can I digivolve up to)

OoC: IIRC, no one can even Digivolve to Champion yet.

 

IC: Alexandra was very confused. How was it possible for this boy to even be alive right now? As she was sent to what Ytidens called the Naught Gauntlet, bricks came flying towards her. Alexandra covered her head for defense, even though Ytidens said it was impossible to die. Gazimon jumped and struck the oncoming bricks, shattering them.

"Thanks Gazimon." Alexandra graciously said.

Gazimon scoffed. "Please, I only need you so that we can stop Genocidramon."

Alexandra frowned, but decided not to argue.

OoC: Yeh, that's one of the challenges of the Naught Gauntlet. Besides the fact that its challenges are almost all intelligence-based, you can't Digivolve inside, only devolve. Anyway, once the others respond, we can continue.

A Young Boy Fell. Valon awoke to find himself in a place he had never thought he would ever come back to.

 

"Valon!? Your back?"

 

Valon rubbed his eyes and turned to see a familiar face. The face was a small Cat by the name of Leormon.

 

"Leormon! Am I Back in the digital world!? Valon yelled in excitement as he ran forward and hugged his feline friend. Valon told Leormon all about what happened on the computer and about the police investigation.

 

"Hmm... That truly is strange. Im guessing it's because of the Digital Disturbance, Lately a lot of bad Digimon are showing up, Also I've heard that a few human's have been seen around the Digital World lately, I have not seen them yet, but perhaps you may know them?"

 

"Really Leormon?

 

More Human's? What could this mean? I Hope Leormon isn't in danger

 

Leormon! I Say we go gather some new's about these other humans"

 

"Great! Their is a Nearby Village of Agumon's maybe their leader Greymon will know something?

Roscuro ran through the arena, employing the age old trick of causing the mindless bricks to collide into each other. However one brick that went unnoticed till now went for him to fast for him to dodge. Lukily Protodroidmon was scanning the brick and was able to create a placebo brick to take the place of Roscuro's head as the bricks made contact. Sir I suggest that you try to not get hit by the bricks Gee Really, I can't understand why anyone would think that?

 

ooc: Droidmon's line has the abillity to create weaponry and objects from the data they previously scanned, the power of the object depends on the level, ProjectDroidmon can build Guardmons while Droidmon can only make basic things like food or objects. Incidentally Protodroidmon can also be used as a microwave. Also the Droidmon's line talk in green while Roscuro (who is pretty athletic and hard to kill since he is a tamer as old as the digital world and made out of data) talks in blue. Finally due to Roscuro being as old as Yggdrasil he has connections with all powerful digimon that don't work for Genocidedramon including training the Royal Knights so they can better guard Yggdrasil

OoC: This shall be fun, bricks flying everywhere and all I have for protection is a little bat, rofl.

 

IC:

After what Ytidens had spoken, it seemed that the motion of events had moved too fast for even Vincent to comprehend as bricks began flying everywhere, left, right, and center as one was on a collision course for Vincent himself he had frozen from the shock of it all. However, luckily for Vincent Batmon had reacted quickly as she shot poisonous needles towards the oncoming brick to no avail.

 

She then thrust her tiny body forward to grab the brick with her purple nailed claws and tost the brick aside. "Vincent, please be careful. I would be...very distraught if you were injured." After removing the obstacle she then went on an attempt to do the same to every other obstacle she could see. Vincent nodded towards her as he regained himself.

 

"My apologies, Batmon it won't happen again." After reassuring himself of his safety and confirming with Batmon that he would keep with reality, he went after her hoping to try and help her in the task that had been set for them.
