monkeyman2092
To me, the Name change Guru sounds like a complete scam. Behind this are my reasons: 1. Post Count- We have to have so many posts to change our name. Even after you achieve it, it takes too long to get it. People have lives to live which they can't widdle away posting here. Overall, there shouldn't be a post count to get a name change. 2. Point Price- It's too high. 1000 points isn't easy to get. I suggested they put it at somewhere around 500 points or possibly lower. 1000 points is almost impossible to get, and can only be gotten by 1 point from posting or many points from winning a contest, and only certain people can win that. So they should lower the price of it. 3. *Increasing Prices- This is where I think the scam part comes in. 1000 to 2000 to 3000 to 4000. Now this is definately scamming. Asking them for more points than they could ever possible give. 4. Once?- After all, this isn't even worth it for a single name change. Pay at least 5000 points for a single name change. WTH? My point is, we should have the freedom to change our names whenever we feel like it without paying. You don't go to FF.net and see them asking for all that crap. Heck, they're alot better than this place. You can ban me for this cause FF.net is my home, and I don't need this place. So go ahead.
moneypony
name change is more work than you think, the server has to change all the posts and many other things to that name and if people changed it whenever they want, the server can lag real bad and cause a lot of confusion.they purposely made the name change price high because they don't want too many people changing their names. Bloodrun
It's funny, how your ff.net is closed, and your HERE, complaining about our rules. The bottom line is that the rules were established to maintain the frequent name changes. I mean, after all, it cost 1,000 dollars to change your real name, and you have to be over 18. But I do admit, having the minimum limit for post count at 2,500 is really high. While it should be lowered to 1,500.

.arx
1200 posts should be lowered... 1200-500= 700. Or we can make it free but only once a year nasm change? Points for name change should stay though..

Cyber Altair
name change is more work than you think' date='the server has to change all the posts and many other things to that name and if people changed it whenever they want, the server can lag real bad and cause a lot of confusion.they purposely made the name change price high because they don't want too many people changing their names.[/quote'] This is so dumb that I'm gonna tell kizzi to sig it XD Server has nothing to do with this, you go to the ACP and click a few buttons and type the old name and search for the member then a couple more buttons and type in the new name then click yes and it's done. Mods did this cause they're to lazy to do so they kept the limit.
ITI3L33
just live with it dude.It isn't a big deal.To get a 1000 points just enter lots of contests.Though the posts... it should be lowered to like 900.
~Shore
its not a scam because the points don't go to anyoneand it makes sense to make it hard to get cuz then you have to think about it and then you (hopefully) won't end up regretting it and changing it again. Luna Lovegood
Right, let me counter each number: 1. If you have a life, why are you so pissed about a name change? it means nothing! 2. Rich members are generally happy to give away a few points. 3. Scam? No one gets those points. They dis-appear. Doesn't look scam like to me. 4. Improve your grammar. Everything Else: If everyone always changed their names, the forum would be chaos. No one would remember who anyone is. And I want you to be banned, but this won't do it.
