Im not playing yugioh to for any other reason then the fact I enjoy it. I like both of there effects and could care less if you think they suck. Tempest magician is pretty weak for being the only spellcaster synchro out in america (That I know of) Im going to play a spellcaster deck without any synchros unteal a good one comes out. How much fun would it be if everyone played stardust dragon and everyone had 3 breaker the magical warriors? If something help you win fine but im not gonna take the fun out of the game by playing just what everyone thinks wins.

You may think long games are fun but they aren't to me. I find them boring. I have enough fun beating my opponents in 2 or 3 turns.

 

This is what Exemplar does:

 

Each time a Spell Card is activated, place 2 Spell Counters on this card. Once per turn, you can remove any number of Spell Counters from this card to Special Summon a Spellcaster-Type monster from your hand or Graveyard whose Level is equal to the number of Spell Counters you removed.

 

It even has a reliable 1700 ATK.

breaker is limited to 1, and almost everyone does play it. and stardust.

 

exemplar gains 2 spell counters per spell played while she is out, and she can summon any spellcaster from your hand or graveyard by useing up counters equal to it's level. she is the main spellcounter maker for tempest, and is ether related to or is the younger form of tempest magician.

 

just to say, I don't like the fact people take the fun out of the game by doing certain things like otks and only running DAD decks in the majority.

 

course, I lockdown DAD easy, which makes them actually play the game.

 

I actually gamed the nickname "the teacher" in my area. because I always made my opponent think or lose.

As for everyone with usefull information, I didint really consider tempest magicians effect till later and her paired with the other card you guys mentioned sounds pretty good and I love spellcasters so maybe ill order them off yugiohmint if there not like 50 dollers. Roxas temptest magician is the only american spellcaster synchros out there that I know of' date=' ofcourse im 19 and actually have a life outside of yugioh so I could be wrong. You guys can really suck the fun out of this site. I do play things other then spellcasters in my deck like caius and dark resonator, but I play alot of effects and dont want to waist my effect monster for a synchro who can just be de sychroed anyways. I don't see why you being 19-years old affect the way you play card games. If you hate Synchros so much you shouldn't be running Dark Resonator.

First of all, I'm not 12.

 

Second, being 19, or having a "mature mind" doesn't give one an excuse to run Tuners without Synchros. Many 19-year-olds have reached the metas.

 

 

Im 19 I play my sister and her boyfriend thats it where all adults so were not going to go out and play anyone.

 

Just because you're an adult doesn't mean you can't play card games with people other than your sister and her boyfriend.

 

Dark resonaters's effect is awesome I dont use frequincy magician for synchros either I like both of there effect.

 

There are so many cards that have a better version of Resonator's effect' date=' its sole purpose is to Synchro Summon, you aren't better than everyone else for running it without Synchros.

 

As for Frequency, all it does is increase a monster's ATK by 500 when it itself has 800 ATK and 400 DEF, it's main purpose is to Synchro Summon, if you're running it without Synchros you should be running Apprentices, Vindictives, Seers, or Exemplars instead.

I don't take personal offense to how someone I've never met plays card games, I just don't think you have the experience in this game to be as close-minded about how you're playing the game as you are.

 

PS: Usernames=/=someone's level of intelligence. Crab Helmet is one of the best Duelists our TCG section's ever had.

If you are embarrassed playing a game you like than you are also self conscious, or worry too much about what other people say about you. I recently seen an old friend who is like me 19 and she asked for my number and the first thing I showed her was my dark magician wall paper im not ashamed just alittle embaressed. Your a stronger person then me I guess but im not ashamed if I care what others thought of me I wouldent have my septum peirced and have hair past my shoulders. As for not being the final fantasy thing why would I be embaressed of playing a video game thats kinda what our generation does. Zidane is so not as cool as vivi :) Your also right I do need to mature a bit, but it has nothing to do with yugioh. I do enjoy and have toled alot of my friends about my obsession with it and me and sister (whos 21) get made fun of all the time didint make us stop playing it. Also I have a damn kingdom hearts tattoo so I think its obvious I like what I like and dont care who dont like it. I would be embaressed at a tournament because I would probley lose to a 12 year old.
