How could we lose again?!" said Fiend weakly. "All you wanted was power. And this is the price both you and your brother must pay." said Nick. "Cunningham!" said Fiend weakly. "Now tell me, where is the Dark one?" asked Nick. "She's in Death Valley, but you'll never stop her. You'll never stop..." said Fiend as he faded away. Before he could finish he turned into his card along with his brother. ("Death Valley?" thought Nick. "Out of all the places I've created and visited, why'd it have to be that place?") (You see Nick created Death Valley for his other card ideas besides the Chaos Spirits.) "Nick, are you alright?" asked Z. "Where's Zeo and the others?" asked Nick. "Up the mountain in the conference room. Why?" asked Z. "All of us are about to go on a little trip back to Death Valley." said Nick. "Death Valley?!" yelled Z. "Nick you remember what happened to us the last time we went to Death Valley." "I know." said Nick. "I'll try not to let it happen again." Nick then flashbacked to what horribly happened to him during his last visit to Death Valley. ("I won't let that happen again. I can't." thought Nick.) Afterwards, Nick and the whole gang went to the conference room. "This is turning into a disaster every minute." said Zeo. "Do we have any information regarding the giant spike of dark energy around Death Valley?" asked Nick. Just then a portal opened and a dog whose body nearly resembles Zeo's and Z's jumped out of it with a message in its mouth. "Good boy, Kuro." said Nick. "(barks)" barked Kuro. "Whose it from?" asked Z. "(gasps) No way." said Nick. "Nick, whose it from?" asked Z. "It's from... Haou." said Nick. "And what does it say?" asked Z. "Nick, if you are reading this, then come to Death Valley... so that I can take you and your powers for myself." read Nick. "What?" said Z all confused. "Why would he do that?" "There's also something in here for you and Yubel, too." said Nick. "Also, if Z and Yubel are reading with you, tell them I have Special plans in store once I take their powers, too" read Z. "Why would he do that?! He's our friend." "I don't know, but whatever it is, we have to help him." said Nick. "We leave for Death Valley tonight, but for now, we need to rest." "Good idea, my dragon is too tired from carrying us all the way to help you out." said Alice. "Nick, we all must thank you for releasing the Chaos Dragon Spirit." said Zeo. "Don't mention it." said Nick. "(grunts with pain) Even when I used the power to heal my body, I can still feel the pain." "Just walk it off. You'll be fine." said Z. "Hey Cody. Nick told me to give this to you." said Rein. Cody acquired "Elemental Hero Neos", "Elemental Hero Star Neos", and the new Neo-Spacian Deck. "Why?" asked Cody. "If you want to help us in this fight, you're gonna need all the fire power you can get." said Nick. After hours of preperation, during the night, the whole group went up to the dimension summit. "Alright, everybody summon your most strongest monster and converge your attacks at this crystal." said Nick. "This crystal is the only way to get to Death Valley." "Is everyone ready?" asked Z. "Ready!" yelled everyone. "Alright. Go! "Zeo The Chaos Warrior". (ATK: 2500)" yelled Nick. "Lunar-Pyro Fang". (ATK: 2500)" yelled Rein. ""Elemental Hero Neos" & "Elemental Hero Star Neos". (Both: ATK: 2500)" yelled Cody. "Well, here's my card. "Cyber Angel - Dakini". (ATK: 2700)" said Rachel. ""Easter Knight". (ATK: 2400)" yelled Alice. ""Zeo-Nexus The Chaos Warrior". (ATK: 1900)" yelled Z. "I discard 2 DARK monsters from my Deck and 1 DARK from my hand to power up "The Daughter of Yubel". (ATK: 3000)" said Yubel. (Total power: ATK: 20000) All of their converged into the crystal, then the crystal bursts into a wave of light. Then the when the light was sucked back into the crystal, the gang was transported to Death Valley. "Ughh!" said everyone. "We're here." said Nick. They were now in Death Valley. The trees were black, the clouds are drenched with a little darkness, and the moon was shining from the sky. At first the gang thought they were the only ones who were transported there. "Where are we?" said a person. "I want to go back." said another person. "Where's the school?" said a third person. "Hey, hey, hey!" yelled Nick. "Why are you people here?" The people that were here are some people who hated Nick and most of them are people who like Nick. A total of 14 people. "It was Travis' idea!" yelled Everyone. "Traitors." said Travis. "(sighs) Alright, I guess you can tag along, but stay close." said Nick. "This place must be over populated with fiends thanks to the darkness." "Alright!" yelled Travis. "I had enough of your secrets! Now tell me why do you protect the freaks you call friends?!" Nick couldn't take Travis' words anymore, so he side-punched him in the jaw and karate kicked him to the tree. He then stuck his foot in his chest and told him why. "Because.... I made a promise..." said Nick. "To protect everyone in this whole realm. Something you could never understand." Nick removed his foot from Travis' chest. "We're wasting time." said Nick. "Come on, there should be a waterfall at the end of this trail." While walking through the trail... "Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!" said a voice. "And where do you think you're going?" "What are those things?" said a girl. "Phantom Darkwings." said Nick. "Should've known. But don't worry. These Darkwings are LV4 fiends. Just leave both of them to me." "Fine then, bring it on!" said the second Darkwing fiend. Duel!Nick/ 5 cards/ LP 4000Darkwing 1/ 5 cards/ LP 4000Darkwing 2/ 5 cards/ LP 4000 "Wait how come your life points are 4000?" asked Rein. "You see, Darkwing monsters like to play by their own rules, so they get to set which life points to start off with." said Nick. "Don't worry this'll be done in 1 turn." (Probably the shortest Duel I've ever made. But I don't care because I just want to get back with the story.) Nick: Turn 1I draw. I play the spell "Card Destruction", so we discard our hands and draw the same amount of cards from our Decks. (Nick: Hand: 5/ D1: Hand: 5/ D2: Hand: 5) Now I play "Graceful Charity", so I draw 3 cards (Nick: Hand: 7) and discard 2. (Nick: Hand: 5) (D1 says: Quit stalling!) (D2 says: Yeah! Hurry up and finish!) Fine. You asked for it. I activate "Trap Booster", so I activate a trap card from my hand, so I activate "Spirit Quest" If I have 6 "Chaos Spirit" monsters in my Graveyard or on the field, I can Special Summon 1 "Chaos Dragon Spirit Zeno"(LV10/LIGHT/Dragon/Effect/ATK/4000 DEF/4000) from my hand or Deck, so I Special Summon from my Deck "Chaos Dragon Spirit Zeno"(LV10/LIGHT/Dragon/Effect/ATK/4000 DEF/4000) (D1 says: Crap.) (D2 says: We're goners, but wait it's the first turn and he can't attack on the first turn.) (D1 says: Yeah! Ha! How are you gonna win now huh?) Well, first I'll summon "Des Wombat(LV3/EARTH/Beast/Effect/ATK/1600 DEF/300), then I'll activate a spell I like to call "Last Call", so I select 1 monster on the field and we both take damage equal to the ATK of the selected monster, but since "Des Wombat" is on my field, I take no damage done by the effects of cards on the field, so you'll be the one taking damage. First, I'll start with D1. (D1: LP: 0/ Defeated) Now I'll activate another "Last Call" from my hand to finish this. Nick: LP: 4000/ WinnerD1: LP: 0/ Defeated/ ONE TURN KILLD2: LP: 0/ Defeated/ ONE TURN KILL "I told you." said Nick. Both Darkwing monsters turn into their cards and landed in Nick's hand. "Alright, let's keep moving forwa... ugh." said Nick. "What's wrong?" asked Rein. "Nothing, just a headache. Let's go." said Nick. As the group walks along the trail, more Darkwing monsters kept getting in their way, but Nick, Rein, Cody and Rachel and Alice kept dueling their way out until they finally arrive. "Finally we're here." said Rachel. "Thank goodness. I was getting tired back there... Ugh!" said Nick. ("No! I won't subcumb to it ever again!" thought Nick.) "Nick, are you sure you're okay?" asked Rein. "Yeah I'm fine." said Nick. "Aaaah!" screamed a girl. "What's that?!" Then a giant centipede came rampaged through the woods. "What's a Doom Dozer doing in this place?" said Nick. "Nick, look its chest!" said Z. "A Black vein. It must be here to be rid of us." said Nick. "Alright everyone, get ready." ""Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder", destroy that Black Vein." yelled a voice. "Huh? Ha! Brad!" said Nick. "Come on, Nick!" yelled Brad. "We got to destroy that Black Vein." "Not on our watch." said a Darkwing fiend. "Doom Dozer, destroy the Boy of Chaos and his friends." "(roaring)" roared Doom Dozer. "This one's all yours, Rein." said Nick. "Alright, Go! "Lunar-Pyro Fang"!" yelled Rein. "Ha! Unless you don't know your facts, you should obviously know Doom Dozer is stronger." said the Darkwing fiend. "But once I equip "Malevolent Nuzzler" to him." said Rein. (ATK: 2500 + 700 = 3200 ATK) "Now face the wrath of my Volcanic howl! (howling loudly)" said Pyro Fang. The shockwave from the howl made the Black Vein disperse, but Doom Dozer is still here. "Oh no." said the first Darkwing fiend. "Quickly, we have to tell... Aah!" said the second Darkwing fiend. Nick was standing right behind them while flying on top of Hamon. "I think we've seen enough." said Nick. "(whimpering)" whimpered both Darkwing fiends. "Don't worry I'm not gonna destroy you." said Nick. "Whew." said both Darkwing fiends. "But your friend does." said Nick pointing to Doom Dozer. "Huh?" said both Darkwing fiends. "(roaring)" roared Doom Dozer. "AAAAAAHH!!" screamed both Darkwing fiends as they faded away. Doom Dozer crushed them with his tail and both of them turned into their cards. "I'll take these." said Nick. "Thanks Doom Dozer." "(roaring)" roared Doom Dozer. Doom Dozer then turned into its card on its own and landed in Nick's hand. Soon after the group climbed to the top of the waterfall (quote: Actually they flew up there with the help of Dragon of Many Eggs.) and Nick and Brad began to talk. "So your school got transported here too." said Nick. "That explains why this group of people are here. Huh?" "Why? Why him?" cried a girl. "Dria, what's wrong?" asked Nick. (Dria is Nick's younger cousin.) "Uh, Nick." said Brad. "What?" asked Nick. ".... They took Peter." said Brad. (Peter is Nick's other younger cousin and the little brother of Dria. His name is actually Thad, but he prefers Peter.) "... No. No. NOOO!!" yelled Nick. Without thinking, Nick rushed through a wide trail in the forest. "Nick!" yelled Brad. "They're not taking him! Not him!" yelled Nick. Nick said as he ran. You see Nick cares about his family so much he would stop at nothing just to get them out of harms way. When he stop at the end of the trail, he saw a small city down below him and beyond the city he saw... "Haou's castle." said Nick. (quote: For those of you viewing this sentence, I'm not talking about the Supreme King Haou. He says his name Haou for short. His real name is my user name without the 12.) "Nick, wait!" yelled Z. "That's Darkworld territory!" Nick knew it was Darkworld territory, but it was the only way he could get to the castle, so he jumped head-first into the city and rushed through it to get to the gates of the castle until... "None shall disturb his royal highness." said the first gatekeeper. "If you wish to get through and be free..." said the second gatekeeper. "Then you must defeat the Darkworld King." said both gatekeepers. "Well, well, well." said Brron. "Never thought I'd see you again." "Out of the way, Brron." said Nick. "I need to talk to Haou." "You heard my Gatekeepers." said Brron. "The only way through this gate... is through me." Then a tiny dark aura shadow surrounded Brron's Duel Disk and Nick just noticed what was causing it. "A Black vein?!" said Nick. "I see. You wanted power so you gave yourself to the Dark one." "Nothing gets by you does it?" said Brron. "So what are you going to do, Cunningham?" ("I have to save Peter." thought Nick. "Also, I saw Alieah and Kalik crying too, (Alieah is Nick's other younger cousin and so is Kalik.) so that means Tarik and Caleb are in trouble as well." (Tarik is Alieah's older brother and Caleb is Kalik's older cousin.) "Bring it on." said Nick. "Let's Duel!" shouted Nick & Brron. Card of the Day: "Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder" Nick is in a big frustration when he heard about his cousins being kidnapped. "Next Chapter!" Nick faces off against the Mad King of Darkworld in order to get through to the other side of the gate. Will Nick survive trial, or be defeated in an attempt to save his family? Find out next time. Now I play "Graceful Charity", so I draw 3 cards (Brron: Hand: 6) and discard 2. (Brron: Hand: 4) Now I activate "Beiige, Vanguard of Dark World"(s)(LV4/DARK/Fiend/Effect/ATK/1600 DEF/1300) effect, if it was discarded from my hand by a card effect, I can Special Summon it to my field, so come forth, "Beiige, Vanguard of Dark World"(LV4/DARK/Fiend/Effect/ATK/1600 DEF/1300) Now I activate "Broww, Huntsman of Dark World"(s)(LV4/DARK/Fiend/Effect/ATK/1400 DEF/800) effect, if it was sent to the Graveyard by a card effect, I can draw 1 card. (Brron: Hand: 5) Now by discarding "Mawwve, Priest of Dark World"(LV4/DARK/Fiend/Effect/ATK/1500 DEF/500) I can select 3 "Dark World" monsters from my Deck and send them to the Graveyard, but they're treated as being discarded from my hand. Now I activate the effects of 3 "Beiige, Vanguard of Dark World" monsters I sent to the Graveyard, so their Special Summoned to the field as well. A leader is nothing without his soldiers. Now the effect of "Dark World Aura" is activated, so all of my monsters gain a total of 1000 ATK. (Zure: ATK: 2800) (Beiige x4: ATK: 2600) I play 1 card face-down and end my turn. "So how do you intend to get out of this one, Cunningham?!" yelled Brron. "I have Darkness on my side and you have nothing!" "You're wrong, Brron." said Nick. By tributing him, I can destroy all monsters on your side of the field and you take damage equal to the combined ATK of all your monsters. Ready Kuriboh? (Kuriboh says: (purrs) Alright go! "Now what?" said Z. "That's Haou's mistress, meaning she could be stronger than us." "I accept." said Nick. "What?!" yelled everyone. "If it means saving my family, then I'll do whatever it takes." said Nick. "Then we are in agreement." said the S.Q. as she took out a card. She took a blank white card from her pocket and the card rose to the air with a dark aura around it. "What's that?" asked Nick. "You'll find out soon enough." said the S.Q. "Are you ready?" "Right." said Nick. "Let's Duel!" shouted Nick and the S.Q. Duel!Nick/ 5 cards/ LP 8000S.Q./ 5 cards/ LP 8000 S.Q.: Turn 1I draw. When "Puppet Piece - Head" is successfully summoned to the field, I can discard 3 monsters from my Deck with "Puppet Piece" in their name to my Graveyard, then my monster gains 1000 ATK for each "Puppet Piece" monster in my Graveyard, so that's a total of 3000. (1000 + 1000 + 1000 + 0 = 3000 ATK) (Nick says: A 3000 ATK monster on the first turn?!) It gets even better. I play the spell "Puppet Part", when this card is activated, if I control 1 "Puppet Piece" monster on my field, I can Special Summon 1 "Puppet Piece" monster from my hand, Deck, or Graveyard, so I Special Summon from my Graveyard "Puppet Piece - Chest"(LV1/DARK/Fiend/Union/ATK/0 DEF/0) Now I play another "Puppet Part", so I can Special Summon "Puppet Piece - Right Arm"(LV1/DARK/Fiend/Union/ATK/0 DEF/0) from my Graveyard. (Nick says: But you just decreased the ATK of your "Puppet Piece - Head".) (3000 - 1000 - 1000 = 1000 ATK) On the contrary. (Nick says: Huh?) I equip both my "Puppet Piece - Chest" and "Puppet Piece - Right Arm" to "Puppet Piece - Head". When a "Puppet Piece" monster is equipped to "Puppet Piece - Head", the equipped "Puppet Piece - Head" gains 1000 ATK and since there is 2, it gains 2000 ATK. I activate the spell "Double Summon", so I summon both "Chaos Spirit Searon"(LV3/FIRE/Spirit/Effect/ATK/600 DEF/800) and "Chaos Spirit Lava"(LV4/FIRE/Spirit/Effect/ATK/1600 DEF/1000) Now "Chaos Spirit Searon" and "Chaos Spirit Lava" use "Spirit Cross Fusion" to Fusion Summon "Chaos Spirit Inferno"(LV6/FIRE/Spirit/Fusion/Effect/ATK/2100 DEF/1500) Now I activate his effect, once per turn, I can select 1 Spell or Trap Card from my Deck and set it face-down on the field and while he's on the field, he gains 300 ATK & DEF for every Spell & Trap Card on the field and since there's 4, he gains 1200 ATK & DEF which is just enough to take out that puppet. (S.Q. counters: Now thanks to "Ventriliquist's Mind"(s) effect, during the End Phase, I can Special Summon the "Puppet Piece" monster that was equipped to "Puppet Piece - Head" to the field and you take 800 points of damage, so I Special Summon "Puppet Piece - Right Arm"(LV1/DARK/Fiend/Union/ATK/0 DEF/0) (Nick: LP 7200) Nick/ 2 cards/ LP 7200S.Q./ 2 cards/ LP 7700 S.Q.: Turn 3I draw. I equip "Puppet Piece - Right Arm" to "Puppet Piece - Head", so now "Puppet Piece - Head"(s) ATK go back to 3000. (2000 + 1000 = 3000 ATK) Now I summon "Puppet Maker"(LV4/DARK/Fiend/Effect/ATK/1500 DEF/500) Now I activate its effect, once per turn, select 1 "Puppet Piece" monster from my Deck and equip it 1 "Puppet Piece - Head" on my side of the field, so I select "Puppet Piece - Left Arm"(LV1/DARK/Fiend/Union/ATK/0 DEF/0) and "Puppet Piece - Head"(s) ATK go up to 4000. Next, I play the spell "Puppet Draw" when this card is activated, I can draw card from my Deck equal to the number of "Puppet Piece" cards I control, so I draw 4. (S.Q.: Hand: 6) Now I play the spell "Missing Piece" when this card is activated, I can discard 1 "Puppet Piece" monster from my hand to the Graveyard, so I discard "Puppet Piece - Left Leg"(LV1/DARK/Fiend/Union/ATK/0 DEF/0) (S.Q.: Hand: 4) Now "Puppet Piece - Head"(s) ATK go all the way up to... (4000 + 1000 = 5000 ATK) (Nick says: 5000 ATK!!?) Next, I activate the spell "Trojan Puppet" when this card activates, it Special Summon 1 "Trojan Puppet Token"(LV4/EARTH/Machine/Token/ATK/0 DEF/0) to your side of the field, then I select 1 monster on the field. If the selected monsters ATK are higher than your "Trojan Puppet Token", then the "Trojan Puppet Token" is destroyed and you take damage equal to half of the selected monsters ATK, so I select "Puppet Piece - Head" and now your token is destroyed and you take 2500 points of damage. (Nick: AAAAAHHH!!/ LP 4700) Now everything is in place for the summoning. (Nick says: What?) I play the spell "Finishing Touches" when this card is activated, I can sacrifice "Puppet Piece - Head". (Nick says: What?! But that's your strongest monster!) That thing was just dead weight anyways. Those that were weak are still weak. Nick then fell to his knees with him looking like he was nothing but a failure. "Yes! With all that darkness, it will unleash the most powerful card that ever existed!" yelled the S.Q. "Come to me, "Immortal Polymerization"!!" The white card then started to take its form, but alas it wasn't enough to unleash the card. "No! It wasn't enough!" yelled the S.Q. "Then I guess it needs one more helping of darkness. So, how does it feel to have lost people you care about?" Nick stood on his knees in silence. Bowing his head, mourning over the loss of his cousins. "Oh well." said the S.Q. Nick/ 2 cards/ LP 200S.Q./ 2 cards/ LP 7700 S.Q.: Turn 3 (cont.)I play 1 card face-down and end my turn. "I'm waiting for an answer." said the S.Q. "They may be gone, but..." said Nick angrily. "That doesn't mean I'm not out!" yelled Nick furiously. Nick's eyes then turned red. A giant red ring in his eyes first, then a yellow ring inside the red ring of his eyes. Then a giant dark aura surrounded Nick's body, then he let out with a yell... "IT'S PAYBACK TIME!!!" yelled Nick. Nick/ 2 cards/ LP 200S.Q./ 1 card/ LP 7700 Nick: Turn 4I draw! I play the Continuous Spell "Spell Economics", which means I don't have to pay any LP to activate a Spell Card. Now I activate the spell "Level Draw", by paying 500 LP, I can select 1 monster on the field and draw cards from my Deck equal to half the level of the selected monster, but since "Spell Economics" is on the field, I don't have to pay any LP, so I select "Mannequin Knight". Since its level is 7, I can draw 3 cards. (Nick: Hand: 4) Now I summon "Zeo-Nexus The Chaos Warrior"(LV4/LIGHT/Warrior/Effect/ATK/1900 DEF/1500) But don't worry, because I'm sacrificing him to Special Summon "Zeo The Chaos Warrior"(LV7/LIGHT/Warrior/Effect/ATK/2500 DEF/2200) Next, I play another "Level Draw", so I choose "Zeo The Chaos Warrior" and draw 3 cards. It can't be." said Nick as he ran to the S.Q. Nick, along with Z and Yubel, ran over to the Supreme Queen. Nick removed her helmet and saw her face. "(gasps) No. Not you." said Nick. "Thanks for freeing me, Nick." said the person. "No! Kris!" said Nick tearing up. (Kris is Nick's older sister. Kris is short for Kristen. She was also transported here the same as him, but she was controlled by the Dark one and became the Supreme Queen.) Nick heart was full of regret, anger, sorrow, sadness, anguish, doubt, and most all hatred. He couldn't take it anymore. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" screamed Nick with agony, anguish, and regret. Just then, Nick's scream somehow triggered a trap on the ground beneath them. A dark red circle encircled them, but at the last minute, Nick saved his sister and pushed her out of the circle. "AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!" screamed Nick with agony and pain. "Nick! No!!!" screamed Kris. "AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!" screamed Yubel. "AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!" screamed Z. Then both Yubel and Z dispersed into bits of light "AAAAAAHHH!!! Kris! Get everyone out of here!" screamed Nick. "I'm not leaving you!" yelled Kris. "You have to, before it's too LAAAAAAAAAAAAATE!!!!!" screamed Nick as he dispersed. Then after that last sentence, Nick dispersed into particles of light and was sucked into the tower of Haou's castle. "Nick?" said Rein. "No way." said Cody. "No. Not him." cried Rachel. "Please not him." cried Alice. "There's no way that happened." said Travis. "This isn't happening. It can't be happening." said Zane. "NICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!" cried out Kris. Card of the Day: "Battle of Sleeping Spirits" This... This can't be happening. The hero of this story was... or is he? "Next Chapter!" Everyone mourns over the loss of the person they admired so much. Well almost everyone. Then Haou starts wreaking havoc over the valley with his Darkwing fiends, so Brad challenges him to a Duel.
