Here's Chapter 7 everyone. Enjoy.

 

[spoiler=Chapter 7]When Nick awoke the next day, his mother told him that School is cancelled for the next 2 days, because of the attack on the School, so he had to sit at his house all day stuffing his face with food and watching T.V. Then he goes outside to play Basketball when he finds a package beside his mailbox.

 

"What's this?" said Nick.

 

Nick goes back inside and opens it.

 

"A Duel Disk with a card inside and a note on top of it." said Nick.

 

Nick reads the note.

 

"Play this card and get ready for the Duel of your life?" said Nick as he read.

 

Nick plays the card on the Duel Disk and a Dark aura surrounded the Duel Disk and forming a person.

 

"Finally!" shouted the monster. "So you are my opponent. Shouldn't be too hard."

 

"Who or what are you?" asked Nick.

 

"I am Darklord Zerato. A dark warrior sent here from the Duel Monster Realm to defeat the Boy of Chaos: Nick Cunningham." said Zerato.

 

"You're on, but not in here my house is a little cramped, so let's take it outside." said Nick.

 

"Very well." said Zerato as they were transported outside.

 

Then while they were outside, a dome of darkness surrounded them.

 

"What's the deal with this dome?" asked Nick.

 

"I forgot to mention." said Zerato. "This is a Shadow Game."

 

"You would risk you're own spirit just to defeat me?!" shouted Nick.

 

"Those were my orders from my Queen." said Zerato.

 

"The Dark one." said Nick. "Zerato she's just using you. You're nothing but a pawn in a chess game she likes to call "Life"."

 

"No she's not!" yelled Zerato. "She's my leader, my savior, my goddess! She would never betray me not ever!"

 

Then Nick got a quick look at Zerato and found something that wasn't on the image of his card.

 

("That black vein in his chest." thought Nick. "That must be causing the darkness around him and the only way to do that is to Duel him.") "Let's do this!" shouted Nick.

Zerato: Turn 1

I draw. By discarding "Darknight Parshath"(LV5/DARK/Fairy/Effect/ATK/1900 DEF/1400) from my hand, I can Special Summon "Dark Grepher"(LV4/DARK/Warrior/Effect/ATK/1700 DEF/1600) Now I activate my "Dark Grepher"(s) effect, once per turn, by discarding 1 DARK monster from my hand, I can send 1 DARK monster from my Deck to my Graveyard. Next, I activate "Double Summon" to summon "Armageddon Knight"(LV4/DARK/Warrior/Effect/ATK/1400 DEF/1200) and he's summoned, I can send 1 DARK monster from my Deck to my Graveyard. I play 1 card face-down and end my turn.

I draw. I play "Double Summon", so I can summon twice, so I summon "Zeo-Nexus The Chaos Warrior"(LV4/LIGHT/Warrior/Effect/ATK/1900 DEF/1500) and "Chaos Spirit Searon"(LV3/FIRE/Spirit/Effect/ATK/600 DEF/800). Now "Zeo-Nexus The Chaos Warrior" and "Chaos Spirit Searon" use "Cross Fusion" to summon "Zeo The Searing Chaos Warrior"(LV7/FIRE/Warrior/Fusion/Effect/ATK/2500 DEF/2200) and thanks to his effect, he gains 400 ATK & DEF for every Spell & Trap Card on the field and in both players Graveyards, so he gains 1200 ATK & DEF. (2500 + 1200 = 3700 ATK/ 2200 + 1200 = 3400 DEF) Now "Zeo The Searing Chaos Warrior" attack his "Armageddon Knight". (Zerato counters: I activate the Continuous Trap "Darkness Revival", when a DARK monster is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard by battle or by a card effect, I can Special Summon it back to the field, but their effects are not activated when they are summoned back, so come on back "Armageddon Knight"(LV4/DARK/Warrior/Effect/ATK/1400 DEF/1200) But you still take damage. (Zerato: LP 5700) I equip "Zeo The Searing Chaos Warrior" with the Equip Spell "Instant Chaos Realm", first it gives him a 1000 ATK boost, (3700 + 1000 = 4700 ATK) then thanks to his effect, he gains another 400 ATK & DEF. (4700 + 400 = 5100 ATK/ 3400 + 400 = 3800 DEF) I play 1 card face-down and end my turn.

I draw. I play "Pot of Greed", so I draw 2 cards. (Zerato: Hand: 2) Next, I play 2 more "Pot of Greed"(s), so I get to draw 4 cards. (Zerato: Hand: 4) Heh, heh, heh. It's time. (Nick says: Time for what?) Since I have 4 DARK monsters in my Graveyard, I can tribute 1 DARK monster to summon "Darklord Zerato"(LV8/DARK/Fairy/Effect/ATK/2800 DEF/2300) Now I activate my effect, by sending 1 DARK monster from my hand to the Graveyard, I can destroy every monster on your side of the field. (Nick counters: Since you destroyed "Zeo The Searing Chaos Warrior" along with "Instant Chaos Realm", I can Special Summon "Zeo The Chaos Warrior"(LV7/LIGHT/Warrior/Effect/ATK/2500 DEF/2200) from my Deck.) Now I activate the spell "Dark Blessings", I can select 1 DARK monster and 1 LIGHT monster on the field and the selected DARK monsters ATK increase by the selected LIGHT monsters ATK until the End Phase, so I choose myself and your "Zeo The Chaos Warrior" (2800 + 2500 = 5300 ATK) Now "Darklord Zerato" destroy his "Zeo The Chaos Warrior". (Nick counters: I activate the trap "Z-Guard", if I control 1 "Zeo The Chaos Warrior" on my side of the field, this card becomes an Equip Spell Card and is equipped to "Zeo The Chaos Warrior" and while it's equipped to "Zeo The Chaos Warrior", the equipped "Zeo The Chaos Warrior" can't be destroyed by battle or by a card effect.) But you still take damage. (Nick: LP 5200) I activate the Continuous Spell "Dark Greed", when a DARK monster is Special Summoned to the field, I draw 3 cards. I end my turn. And at the End Phase of the turn, I go to the Graveyard, but I come back thanks to "Darkness Revival" and thanks to "Dark Greed", I draw 3 cards. (Zerato: Hand: 3)

(Nick thinks: I hope you come through for me. I'm counting on you.) I draw. (Nick thinks: Yes!) I play the Field Spell the "Chaos Realm". This field gives "Zeo The Chaos Warrior" a 1000 ATK & DEF boost. (2500 + 1000 = 3500 ATK/ 2200 + 1000 = 3200 DEF) Next, I summon "Chaos Spirit Landcaron"(LV4/EARTH/Spirit/Effect/ATK/900 DEF/850) Now "Chaos Spirit Landcaron" and "Zeo The Chaos Warrior" use "Cross Fusion" to summon "Zeo The Earth Chaos Warrior"(LV7/EARTH/Warrior/Fusion/Effect/ATK/2500 DEF/2200) and he also gets a power boost. (2500 + 1000 = 3500 ATK/ 2200 + 1000 = 3200 DEF) Now "Zeo The Earth Chaos Warrior" attack his "Darklord Zerato". (Zerato says: No matter how many times you destroy me, i'll still come back from the Graveyard.) But you don't go to the Graveyard. (Zerato says: What?) You return to your Deck. (Zerato says: What?!) (Zerato: LP 5000) Now I activate the effect of "Z-Guard" by removing it from play, I can select 1 Fusion "Zeo The Chaos Warrior" on the field and return it to my Fusion Deck and summon the Material Monsters from my Deck, so come on back "Landcaron"(ATK: 900) and "Zeo"(ATK: 2500) along with the power boost (ATK: 3500/ DEF: 3200) and I draw 2 cards. (Nick: Hand: 2) Now "Chaos Spirit Landcaron" attack both his "Dark Grepher" and "Armageddon Knight". (Zerato says: What?!) Thanks to his effect, he can attack twice and can return the monsters he battled to your Deck. Now "Zeo The Chaos Warrior" attack him directly. And when "Zeo The Chaos Warrior" attacks, he gains 500 ATK during damage calculation. (3500 + 500 = 4000 ATK) (Zerato: LP 1000) Next, I play the Quick-Play Spell "Instant Cross", so I return "Zeo" and "Landcaron" back to my Deck to summon back "Zeo The Earth Chaos Warrior" along with the field's effect. (ATK: 3500) (Zerato: NO!!!) Now end this duel!

 

Nick: LP 5200/ Winner

Zerato: LP 0/ Defeated

 

"What happened? Where am I?" asked Zerato.

 

"You don't remember a thing do you?" asked Nick.

 

"What I remember is this dark figure that was taking over my homeland." answered Zerato.

 

"The Dark one." said Nick. "She controlled you and forced you to Duel me in a shadow game."

 

"And since he lost, the shadows will be demanding your spirit Zerato." said the Dark one.

 

"NO WAYYYYYY!!!" screamed Nick.

 

Nick's power of the Chaos Realm destroyed the dome of darkness around them, but sadly Zerato's spirit was also transformed into a card like Pyro Fang.

 

"Zerato." said Nick.

 

"Hmph. He was annoying anyways." said the Dark one. "See you around Nick."

 

"Dark one." said Nick as the Dark one disappeared. "Don't worry Zerato i'll keep you and Pyro Fang safe from harm."

 

Card of the Day: "Zeo The Earth Chaos Warrior"

Nick freed Zerato of his control over the Dark one and he won the Duel, but what other challenges wait for Nick from the Dark one? "Next Chapter"! Z found a way into the Human realm by sending his spirit through Nick's body, so Nick and Z decided to do some training in order to get ready for another attack from the Dark one. Will Nick win the excercise, or will Z come out victorious? Find out next time. Until then, KEEP ON DUELING!!

[spoiler=Chapter 8]"Man, I am so bored." said Nick. "I know I saved Pyro Fang and Zerato from the Dark one, but I still need to be ready for another attack like that."

 

("Then how about challenging me to a Duel?" said Z as a Duel Spirit.)

 

"Dude I can't." said Nick. "If you send me to your dimension without stopping time, my parents will think i'm dead."

 

("That's why I plan to come to the human realm through you." said Z.)

 

"Exactly how do you suppose to do that?" asked Nick.

 

Z flys behind Nick and flys through Nick's chest making him real.

 

"That's how." said Z.

 

(coughs) "Don't ever do that again!" said Nick.

 

"Alright, so let's train." said Z.

 

"With what?" asked Nick.

 

"We Duel each other and find out which one is the true master of the Chaos Spirits." said Z

 

"I'll beat you hands down." said Nick.

 

"Let's take this outside shall we?" said Z as they went outside.

I draw. I play the Field Spell "Soul Garden", then I summon "Zeo-Nexus The Chaos Warrior"(LV4/LIGHT/Warrior/Effect/ATK/1900 DEF/1500) and I activate my effect, when I am summoned to the field, once per turn, I can select 1 monster from my Deck with "Sealed Spirit" in their name and equip it to me, so I choose "Sealed Spirit Fire"(LV2/FIRE/Spirit/Effect/ATK/200 DEF/300), so I gain 200 ATK for every Spell & Trap Card in your Graveyard. Now I activate the effects of my "Soul Garden" Field Spell. This card gains the effects equal to the number of "Sealed Spirit" monsters equipped to me. (1+) The equipped monster gains 1000 ATK & DEF. (2+) Once per turn, Special Summon 1 "Sealed Spirit" monster from your Deck. If the Special Summoned "Sealed Spirit" monster is destroyed and removed from the field, place it in your Spell & Trap Card Zone as an Equip Spell Card and equip it to a face-up "Zeo-Nexus The Chaos Warrior". (Nick: Hand: 6) Now I activate "Chaos Spirit Darklight"(s) effect, since he's in the Graveyard, I can Normal Summon 1 LV5 or higher "Chaos Spirit" monster or "Zeo The Chaos Warrior" from my hand, so come on out "Zeo The Chaos Warrior"(LV7/LIGHT/Warrior/Effect/ATK/2500 DEF/2200) Next, I play the spell "Double Summon", so I summon "Chaos Spirit Searon"(LV3/FIRE/Spirit/Effect/ATK/600 DEF/800) Next, I play the spell "CROSS", so I tribute "Chaos Spirit Searon" to summon "Chaos Spirit Blaze Searon"(LV4/FIRE/Spirit/Fusion/Effect/ATK/1200 DEF/1000) Now "Chaos Spirit Blaze Searon" and "Zeo The Chaos Warrior" use "Cross Fusion" to summon "Zeo The Blazing Chaos Warrior"(LV7/FIRE/Warrior/Fusion/Effect/ATK/2500 DEF/2200) and thanks to his effect, he gains 600 ATK & DEF for every Spell & Trap Card on the field and in both players Graveyard, so he gains 3600 ATK & DEF since there are 3 on your side of the field and 3 in my Graveyard. (3600 + 2500 = 6100 ATK/ 3600 + 2200 =5800 DEF) Now I activate the Field Spell "Chaos Realm". (Z says: How come my Field Spell didn't go away?) Thanks to my Duel Disk's mechanism, I need to activate 2 Field Spells to destroy your field. And by the way, why do you have your father's Duel Disk? (Z says: After he created his, he created this for me, so i'd have a Duel Disk just like yours.) Nice. Anyways, since "Chaos Realm" is on the field, "Zeo The Blazing Chaos Warrior" gets a power boost from it and his own effect. (6100 + 1000 + 600 = 7700 ATK/ 5800 + 1000 + 600 = 7400 DEF) (Z says: I get a power boost too along with "Sealed Spirit Fire"(s) effect. (2900 + 1000 + 600 = 4500 ATK/ 2500 + 1000 = 3500 DEF) Now "Zeo The Blazing Chaos Warrior" destroy "Zeo-Nexus The Chaos Warrior". (Z counters: I activate the trap "Sealed Barrier", when this card is activated, if I have a "Sealed Spirit" monster on the field or in my Spell & Trap Card Zone as a Equip Spell Card, i'm not destroyed as a result of battle and all Battle Damage becomes 0.) I play 1 card face-down, thus powering up "Zeo The Blazing Chaos Warrior" (7700 + 600 = 8300 ATK/ 7400 + 600 = 8000 DEF) and end my turn.

Now I activate my "Soul Garden"(s) effect, once per turn, I can Special Summon 1 "Sealed Spirit" monster from my Deck, so I summon "Sealed Spirit Wind"(LV2/WIND/Spirit/Effect/ATK/200 DEF/300) Next, I play the Continuous Spell Card "Phase Shift", so I can change the phase of a turn once per turn, so I shift to Draw Phase, so I draw another card. (Z: Hand: 4) Next I activate "Sealed Spirit Wind"(s) effect, for every card I draw, you lose 400 LP. (Nick: LP 7600) And since it's my Standby Phase, I activate "Sealed Spirit Earth"(s) effect, I can return 1 Spell or Trap Card on your field to your Deck, so goodbye "Chaos Realm". (Nick says: Wow, you really know how to control those little guys do you?) Until I grow up and be like my father, I have to master the Sealed Spirits until i'm able to control the Chaos Spirits. My dad entrusted his cards and the Chaos Spirits to you because he knew you had the spirit to awaken Zeno. (Nick says: You mean Chaos Dragon Spirit Zeno, the dragon I created for the Chaos Realm? I didn't know he was sealed.) Well now you know. Plus, I treat the Sealed Spirits as little brothers and sisters. Say hi to Nick everyone.

 

The Sealed Spirits flew right to Nick. They were little spirits with a different element and their heads resemble the Chaos Spirit heads only they were tiny and their faces look like Winged Kuriboh's eyes, except you can see right through them.

 

"Hey little guys." said Nick

 

"(Purring like Winged Kuriboh)" said the Sealed Spirits floating around Nick.

 

"Alright let's get back to the Duel." said Z.

 

Z: Turn 3 (cont.)

Since "Chaos Realm" is gone, your "Zeo The Blazing Chaos Warrior" and me lose our power boost, but no matter. At the End Phase of the turn, "Zeo The Blazing Chaos Warrior" goes back to the Fusion Deck. Now I activate my effect again, so I equip "Sealed Spirit Dark"(LV2/DARK/Spirit/Effect/ATK/200 DEF/300). I play 1 card face-down and end my turn, so goodbye "Zeo The Blazing Chaos Warrior".

(Z says: Since i'm a good sport, I activate the trap "Greed Trap", I select 1 Trap card from my Deck and set it on the field and I select 1 monster on the field and you draw cards equal to the level of the selected monster and I choose me. (Nick: Hand: 4)

I draw. What do you know. I summon "Zeo-Nexus The Chaos Warrior"(LV4/LIGHT/Warrior/Effect/ATK/1900 DEF/1500) (Z says: Crap, I forgot I gave you my card.) Who said I was gonna use you. (Z says: What?) I'm sacrificing you to summon back an old friend. Come on back "Zeo The Chaos Warrior"(LV7/LIGHT/Warrior/Effect/ATK/2500 DEF/2200) Next, i'm gonna play "Gift of Forgiveness", at the cost of 1000 LP, (Nick: LP 6600) you discard 3 cards from your hand (Z: Hand: 0) and i'll draw 3 cards. (Nick: Hand: 5) Next I play "Double Summon", so I summon "Chaos Spirit Landcaron"(LV4/EARTH/Spirit/Effect/ATK/900 DEF/850) Now "Chaos Spirit Landcaron" attack both his "Zeo-Nexus The Chaos Warrior" and "Sealed Spirit Wind" and since he attacked both, they return to your Deck. Now "Zeo The Chaos Warrior" attack him directly and since he's attacking, he gains 500 ATK during damage calculation. (2500 + 500 = 3000 ATK) (Z: LP 5000) Now I play the Quick-Play Spell "Instant Cross", so I return "Zeo The Chaos Warrior" and "Chaos Spirit Landcaron" to my Deck to summon "Zeo The Earth Chaos Warrior"(LV7/EARTH/Warrior/Fusion/Effect/ATK/2500 DEF/2200) Now "Zeo The Earth Chaos Warrior" attack him directly. (Z: LP 2500) I play the Field Spell "Chaos Realm". (Z says: You're kidding me.) I know. I can't believe it either. Anyways, "Zeo The Earth Chaos Warrior" gets a boost. (2500 + 1000 = 3500 ATK) I play 1 card face-down and end my turn. (Z counters: I activate the trap "Soul Matter", if "Soul Garden" is on the field, I can Special Summon 1 "Zeo-Nexus The Chaos Warrior" from my Deck, hand, or Graveyard and I can equip a number of "Sealed Spirit" monsters to the Special Summoned "Zeo-Nexus The Chaos Warrior" from my Deck, hand, or Graveyard, I summon myself and equip "Sealed Spirits Fire, Earth, Dark, and Wind" to me.)

(Nick: LP 5800) And since it's now my Standby Phase, "Sealed Spirit Earth"(s) effect activates, meaning once again, goodbye "Chaos Realm". And since "Sealed Spirit Fire" already equipped to me, I gain 200 ATK for every Spell & Trap card in your Graveyard and since there are 6 in your Graveyard, I gain 1200 ATK plus an extra 1000 ATK & DEF thanks to "Soul Garden"(s) effect. (1900 + 1200 + 1000 = 4100 ATK/ 1500 + 1000 = 2500 DEF) Now I activate my effect, so I equip "Sealed Spirit Light"(LV2/LIGHT/Spirit/Effect/ATK/200 DEF/300) Now I activate "Soul Garden"(s) effect, since there are 5 "Sealed Spirit"(s) in my Spell & Trap Card Zone, I can Special Summon 1 from my Spell & Trap Card Zone, so I summon "Sealed Spirit Dark"(LV2/DARK/Spirit/Effect/ATK/200 DEF/300) and since he's on the field, he can take the effect of 1 Spell or Trap Card on the field and since "Sealed Spirit Fire" is now considered a Spell Card, I choose his effect, so he also gains 1200 ATK. (1200 + 200 = 1400 ATK) Now I attack your "Zeo The Earth Chaos Warrior" with "Zeo-Nexus The Chaos Warrior". (Nick: LP 4200) (Nick counters: I activate the Quick-Play Spell "Awakening of Zeo", since you destroyed a Fusion "Zeo The Chaos Warrior", I can Special Summon "Zeo The Chaos Warrior" from my Deck and he gains 500 ATK for every card in my hand.) I activate "Soul Garden"(s) effect, I can return 1 "Sealed Spirit" monster from my Spell & Trap Card Zone to my hand to negate the effect of your Spell Card. (Nick counters: Then I activate my face-down "Spirit Strike", when you destroyed a monster on my field, you take damage equal to the ATK of the destroyed monster.) I activate "Soul Garden"(s) effect one more time. Now you're wide open. Attack! (Nick counters: By removing "Spirit Strike" from play, you take damage equal to the ATK of 1 monster on the field that I choose and I choose yourself.) NO!!

"No wonder my dad entrusted you with them. You're good." said Z.

 

"You could've noticed when you watched all my Duels." said Nick.

 

"Nick! I came down here as fast as I could when I saw him." said Cody. "Good thing you defeated him. Now we can..."

 

"Cody!" said Nick. "It's ok he's a friend."

 

"Yeah." said Z.

 

"Really?" asked Cody. "Oh now I recognize you. You're one of Nick's cards. But how did you get here anyway and why is everybody Dueling you Nick?"

 

"You want to tell him or should I?" asked Nick.

 

"Better yet, let's just show him." said Z

 

"Show me what?" Cody asked as Nick & Z activated their powers of the Chaos Realm.

 

Then a light shined around them and Cody saw everything and they told him everything, then the light faded.

 

"Wow, that's some story." said Cody. "I want to help too."

 

"But Cody I don't want to see you get hurt." said Nick. "If you do, how will I explain this to your mom?"

 

"All I need is training." said Cody. "Isn't that what you 2 were doing before I came here?"

 

"Nick let me take care of this." said Z. "You just sit over there and watch."

I draw. Now I switch "Bite Shoes" to Attack position. (ATK: 500) Now "Bite Shoes" destroy his "Sealed Spirit Wind". (Z counters: I activate the trap "Soul Energy", I select 1 "Sealed Spirit" monster on the field and select 1 monster on the field and the selected "Sealed Spirit" monster gains the ATK of the selected monster until the End Phase, so I choose "Sealed Spirit Wind" and myself, so "Sealed Spirit Wind" gets one heck of a power up. (3300 + 200 = 3500 ATK) No! (Cody: LP 3100) (Z counters: Now I activate the trap "Ring of Destruction" and activate the Quick-Play Spell "Ring of Defense". First, "Ring of Destruction" lets me select 1 monster on the field, destroys it, and we bothe take damage equal to the ATK of the selected monster, but thanks to "Ring of Defense", I take no damage from the effects of Trap cards, so I select "Zeo-Nexus The Chaos Warrior") NOO!!

Z: LP 3100/ Winner

 

"Aw man!" yelled Cody.

 

"Cody I know what you're thinking about the Deck Nick gave you." said Z. "Let me tell you the truth. Nick actually beat me with that Deck."

 

"What?!" yelled Cody. "How?"

 

"I had one special card in that Deck that helped me." said Nick. "Look for it. It's a LV10, FIRE attributed, Pyro-type monster."

 

"No way!" said Cody. "You had "Uria, Lord of Searing Flames" in your Deck?"

 

"Yeah and I sure showed him with it too." said Nick.

 

"You got lucky that's all." said Z.

 

"Yeah, right." said Nick. "Anyways you need to perfect the Deck in order for you to synchronize with it. Know the cards in the Deck and think of what you're about to draw from it."

 

"Alright." said Cody.

 

So Cody memorized every card in the Deck and Z and Cody Dueled again, but this time, Cody came out victorious.

 

"You still got beat with that card." said Nick.

 

"Ha, ha, ha." fake laughed Z. "Huh? Hey Nick there's someone right behind the side of your house."

 

"Huh?" said Nick.

 

Nick looked and saw that it was a homeless girl.

 

"Hey are you OK?" asked Nick.

 

When he looked at her face, she was beautiful, had long dark brown hair, she was white, and she had dark brown eyes. And he had a memory flashback, because she looked like an old classmate that moved like 4 years ago.

 

"Can you tell me your name?" asked Nick.

 

"My name is Rachel" said the girl.

 

"Wow." said Cody clumsily. "Uh, you're so cute. I mean, you're so hot. What I meant to say..."

 

"Oh my goodness." said Nick. "Z knock some sense into this... Z!"

 

"Don't let the appearence fool you. Inside i'm a sweet, innocent boy." said Z acting all suave. "So what do you say, my place or yours?"

 

Nick punches them both in the back of the head.

 

"OW!!" shouted Z & Cody.

 

"Sorry about them." said Nick. "They just haven't seen a beautiful girl before. I mean... Sorry, I didn't mean to..." said Nick as Rachel was looking at him.

 

Rachel jumps and hugs Nick.

 

"There, there. Everything's gonna be okay." said Nick all confused.

 

Then when the blanket she was wearing came off, he just now noticed...

 

"WHOA!! OKAY!!" shouted Nick when he saw Rachel. "Um, uh, here's your uh blanket and um. We'll pretend this never happened. Right guys?!"

 

"WOW!!" said Cody clumsily.

 

"SWEET." said Z clumsily.

 

Nick punches them again in the face.

 

"OWW!!" shouted Z & Cody.

 

"That's it. No one see her unless she's wearing..." said Nick. "Uh, well unless she's covered up. Got it?!"

 

"Right. Sorry. Really we are." said Z & Cody.

 

"That's okay." said Rachel.

 

"OK. As soon as my mom gets home, i'm gonna tell her about you and see if we can figure something out." said Nick.

 

"Thank you." said Rachel.

 

Rachel hugged him again and you know what happens next.

 

"AAH!" screamed Nick when looked at Rachel again. "Uh, you should really keep this on."

 

"Wait, why does it have to be your house?" asked Cody.

 

"Yeah!" said Z.

 

"Unlike you 2, my house has an extra bedroom ever since my sister went to college and you guys... Well... Never mind I'm not gonna say it." said Nick.

 

"Fine, but I get to visit every weekend." said Cody.

 

"I don't have to visit." Z said to Cody. "I'll just come out of my card and..."

 

Then all of a sudden, Yubel's spirit came out through Nick's body making her real.

 

"You do that, and i'll hunt you down like a Bloodhound!" shouted Yubel.

 

Z got scared

 

"Right. Sorry again." said Z.

 

"Anyways, let's all rest up for tomorrow since tomorrow is School." said Nick.

 

"NOOOOOOOO!!!" yelled Cody.

 

"What the heck was that for?!" said Nick.

 

"What, i'm trying to be dramatic." said Cody. "What do you think?"

 

"Eh, it was okay." said Nick.

 

"Dang." said Cody.

For those viewing this chapter, don't react to these lines i've written on here. They're just something I threw in just to make this chapter more comedy-like. Okay?! Okay. "Next Chapter"! Nick's School has a new kid that seems to have gotten the attention of all girls in his school, but the new kid's attention has gotten to Rachel when she enrolls in his school. All of a sudden, a monster from the Duel Monster Realm breaks into Nick's School wreaking havoc. Will Nick defeat this menace, or will he get destroyed? Find out next time. [spoiler=Chapter 10]So Nick along with Rachel explained to his mom about her and how long she was homeless. And the decision was unanimous.

 

"She can live with us." said Nick's Mom.

 

"Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!" yelled Rachel.

 

Then her blanket came off again.

 

"AAH!" screamed Nick when he saw Rachel. "But first things first, you need something to wear if you're coming to School with me."

 

"Really?" asked Rachel.

 

"My mom will convince the principle to let you have the same schedule as me. That way i'll be able to keep an eye on you throughout the day." said Nick.

 

Rachel starts crying.

 

"Hey don't cry." said Nick. "It'll be okay."

 

She hugged Nick again. (This time the blanket didn't come off. I can asure you that.)

 

Then they awoke on the day they return to School they washed up, got dressed, got their books, Nick got his Duel Disk and Deck, got their books, got on the bus, and headed to School.

 

"H-Hey R-Rachel." said Cody timidly. "So you were put in our School too. So what schedule do you have?" ("Please be a class with me. Please be a class with me." thought Cody.)

 

"She has all of my classes Cody." said Nick.

 

"What?!" said Cody. "Why?"

 

"So I can keep an eye on her throughout the day and make sure no one tries to hurt her and make fun of her." said Nick.

 

"Well at least let me help." said Cody.

 

"Promise not to fall apart when you're close to her?" asked Nick.

 

"I promise. Really I do." said Cody.

 

"Alright then. We're here." said Nick.

 

They walked off the bus and went into the School and then noticed a crowd of girls.

 

"What's going on?" said Nick.

 

"We have a new kid in our School and he's getting the attention of every girl in school and... WHOA!" said the boy as he cleared his throat. "So where are you from pretty lady?"

 

"Okay back off. She's just now fitting in here so at least show one shred of dignity." said Nick.

 

"Yeah." said Cody.

 

"Guys, it's okay. Sorry to have troubled you." said Rachel.

 

"Oh no. Not at all. It's my fault anyway." said the boy.

 

"Anyways, whose this new kids name?" asked Nick.

 

"His name is Zane." said the boy. (Not Zane Truesdale) "Ever since Travis moved, he's been the tough guy around here."

 

"Ladies, ladies. Please calm down. I'm just looking for Miss Right." said Zane as he looks around.

 

Then Zane turned and looked at Nick and them then he saw Rachel.

 

"And I think I just found her." said Zane.

 

"Is it me?!" asked a girl.

 

"No, it's me!" said another girl.

 

"You're both wrong it's me!" said the third girl.

 

"It's not any of you." said Zane.

 

Zane then walked over to Nick, Cody, and Rachel.

 

"Hello my future wife." said Zane acting suave.

 

He then kissed her hand.

 

"What do you say you dump these losers and come with me and i'll give you a day you'll never forget." said Zane.

 

Rachel then got scared.

 

"Come on baby let's get out of here." said Zane as he goes for her hand.

 

He tries to grab her arm, but she ran behind Nick for protection.

 

"Out of the way kid." said Zane.

 

"Forget it." said Nick.

 

"Listen, i'm giving you a choice." said Zane. "Either you move and let me have the girl, or just stand and let me knock out all your teeth. And you know we can't have that right?"

 

He then grabs his face and starts imitating what he says.

 

"Get your hands off me! You scum!" said Nick.

 

"What was that?!" shouted Zane.

 

"You heard me!" shouted Nick. "She doesn't want to go with you and her reaction was your answer, so I suggest you get out of here if you know what's good for you!"

 

"Nick? What are you doing?" asked Cody.

 

"Shut up!" yelled Zane as he clenched his fist.

 

Zane goes in with a punch, but as soon he could punch him, a teacher came.

 

"That's enough Mr. Masterson." said the teacher. "Now get to class."

 

"This isn't over." said Zane under his breath.

 

"Wow, you totally stood up to him." said the boy.

 

"Thank you." said Rachel as she hugged him.

 

Anyways, later after class, the score between Nick and Zane hasn't been settled.

 

"You ready to end this punk?!" said Zane.

 

"Always." said Nick.

 

Zane then goes in for another punch, but then, a monster crashed through the ceiling window.

 

"What the..." said Zane.

 

"Where is the one named Nick Cunningham?!" said the monster.

 

"That's me." said Nick.

 

"Forget about that punk, i'll take you on mano 'a mano or whatever you are." said Zane.

 

Zane then goes in for a jump kick, but the monster threw him back and he hit the wall.

 

"Zane!" said Nick. "That's it. I don't like him, but I know one thing is that you don't hurt any of the people here while i'm around. Now who are you?!"

 

"I am Gearfried, the Iron Knight and I have come to slay Nick Cunningham on behalf of my master."

 

Nick then notices a black vein on Gearfried's chest.

 

"The Dark one." said Nick. "Alright, bring it on!"

By your reaction, I can tell you know what it does. When "Lightning Blade" is equipped to a Warrior-type monster, the equipped Warrior-type monster gains 800 ATK and all WATER monsters on the field lose 500 ATK. "Brave Knights of long ago, grace us with your strength, so that we may punish the people who have wronged you!" Synchro Summon! Raise your sword! "Knight of Rounds - Sentinal"(LV7/WIND/Warrior/Synchro/Effect/ATK/2400 DEF/1200) When he is Synchro Summoned to the field, I can Special Summon 1 "Knight of Rounds" monster from my Graveyard, so come forth and redeem yourself "Knight of Rounds - Wisteria"(LV4/WIND/Warrior/Effect/ATK/1500 DEF/1400), then this card gains the original ATK of the Special Summoned "Knight of Rounds" monster until the End Phase. Well what do you know, since it's not the level monster you chose, I can Special Summon the monster I just drew, so come on out "Zeo The Chaos Warrior"(LV7/LIGHT/Warrior/Effect/ATK/2500 DEF/2200) Now I summon "Chaos Spirit Searon"(LV3/FIRE/Spirit/Effect/ATK/600 DEF/800) Now "Zeo The Chaos Warrior" and "Chaos Spirit Blizzard" use "Cross Fusion" to summon "Zeo The Blizzard Chaos Warrior"(LV8/WATER/Warrior/Fusion/Effect/ATK/2800 DEF/2500) Now I activate his effect, when he is summoned, I draw 2 cards. (Nick: Hand: 3) If one of them is a Spell card, I can negate the effect of 1 Spell card on the field until the End Phase and since I drew a Spell card, I negate the effects of "Lightning Blade". (Gearfried says: No!) Now I activate the Quick-Play Spell "Crossout", so I de-fuse "Zeo The Blizzard Chaos Warrior" and Special Summon "Zeo The Chaos Warrior"(LV7/LIGHT/Warrior/Effect/ATK/2500 DEF/2200) from my Deck. "NOOOOOOOO!!" screamed Gearfried as he faded away.

 

"What the...?" Nick said.

 

Nick then found out that Gearfried was transformed into his card, but he wonders why. Then he came up with a theory that the Black veins are causing this.

 

"Nick did it again!" said the boy.

 

"WHOO-HOO!!" screamed everyone.

 

Rachel came up and hugged him from behind and Zane watched as he thought Nick was getting all the glory.

 

("I wasn't able to do nothing, but Nick looks like he's done this a thousand times." thought Zane.) (quote: Duh.) "Our fight isn't over Cunningham! I will get you and next time you won't be so lucky! And Rachel, i'm not giving up on you babe. You will love me woman! Even if I have to take down Cunningham to do it!" yelled Zane.

 

"Don't worry man, i'll be ready for the next one." said Nick.

 

"We'll see!" yelled Zane.

 

"Interesting, there seems to be a little friction of fire, hate, and anger inside this Zane character." said the Dark one from her lair. "But his anger doesn't come close to mine. Still he could be a good asset to my plan. Watch out Nick, 'cause your town is going to be overunned with speed demons."

 

Card of the Day: "Zeo The Searing Chaos Warrior"

Once again Nick is victorious. Even though he didn't save Gearfried, he knew one thing, he made a new rival and this one is not giving up. "Next Chapter"! The School Talent show is in town and Zane comes up with a plan to ruin Nick's chances of fame at his School. Later, a D-Wheeler from the Duel Monster Realm shows up and challenges Nick before he goes on and set up cameras all around town so that everyone in his School can see. Will Nick go on as the King of Speed, or will face the asphault of his opponent? Find out next time. Until then, KEEP ON DUELING!!
