Lemniscate
well, i have been seeing quite a few cards that are good cards that can be very effective and helpful, but due to being too slow, can't be used effectively. What speed is minimum in order for a card to be playable? also, are there any cards that could be great if they were faster?
Azure
Yes like the Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon, very powerful but very slow.
Megaworm
Like Ring Of Destruction. Slightly fast if you activate it as soon as the opponent reaches their Draw Phase.
Blue Lightning
25 MPH. It depends on its type. If its a monster you usually want immediate effects because they are likely to get destroyed. Spells rejoice of Deck thinning and such.

Valkyrie Lupia Blitzer
A Cat of Ill Omen and Mask of Darkness would be great if it was faster. Zone Eater would be better but still not great when it was 5x faster. Final Countdown like Genzo said.
CrabHelmet
Even in the slowest of formats, speed counts. That is the only reason that Magician of Faith shouldn't be simply tossed onto the banned list without a second thought.
~/Coolio Prime\~
Level Three Speed Cards that weren't Counter would be pretty cool. Yes like the Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon' date=' very powerful but very slow.[/quote'] No.
Akira
Yes like the Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon' date=' very powerful but very slow.[/quote'] Armed Samurai Ben Kei with 3 Mage Powers > Blue-Eyes Ultimate (and if you plan on summoning the Dragon with Polymerisation, equally slow). Considering all the awesome support that Gladiator Beasts have received, they could easily be the favourite archetype of Konami.

I don't have a complete knowledge of the card pool here. and you didn't answer the question, can you stop the effect with RFP, or a counter trap? GenzoTheHarpist
I think you'd have to stop D-Dude's effect in this case with something like Divine Wrath. What if the effect was something like "You win the duel in the end phase of the turn this card was activated. After activating this card, your lifepoints are reduced by 15000 (this is not treated as effect damage)." ?

I don't have a complete knowledge of the card pool here. Figure it out. and you didn't answer the question' date=' can you stop the effect with RFP, or a counter trap?[/quote'] Removing it from the graveyard works. Counter Traps don't; it's not Diamond Dude's effect activating, so Divine Wrath doesn't work, and it's not the Spell activating (it's its effect), so Magic Jammer (or an equivalent non-sucky card) won't work either.
