"NO!" Atticus cried out. The werewolf had the boy...and there was nothing he could do....except.....

"TAKE THIS!!" And out of Atticus's palms came a huge bolt of lightning that striked the Werewolf point blank.

Atticus

The bolt struck the werewolf head-on, sending shakes through his entire body. The boy in his hand slips to the floor, unconscious but still alive. The werewolf Reaper smiled at you. "So, you're finally proving a challenge, Player. Not like that friend of yours." He nodded at the young Player lying still at his feet. There was a sharp burn mark on his left shoulder where the bolt had hit, and a smell of burnt fur spread through the room.

 

"However, my rules still stand. Finish him off, Player, and you're free to leave. You'll even help your friends on the way. You still have a mission, remember?" The Reaper shrugged. "Besides, he won't be of any help, not in the state he's in."

[Fen.]

Atticus looked at the child whimpering on the floor, tears in his eyes.

"PLease......don't kill me....." The boy cried out.

"But....I have to...." Said Atticus as he aimed his palm at the boy, his hand crackling with electicity.

[Umbra]

OoC: That sounds similar, somehow. :D The most awesome scene in the entire game, IMHO, before Mr H. breaks in on them.

 

Atticus

 

The Reaper snickered. "Finish him already, Player. Your mates outside don't have the time." You glance down at your timer: 85:12. Time had gone faster than you thought. You nod at the Reaper, who's started to sooth his burn, and turn your gaze to the Player lying before you. The barely living eyes stare at you, and you know that you will remember those eyes for the rest of your life. Then, the thunderbolt crashes out from your fingertips, and you're blinded by the light.

ooc:since lance has made no action, it's up to brian to save them from this attack then.

 

Brian: he begins to roll off of lance, but them grabs him and takes him along for the ride. he rolls them both to the side hard, the momentium likely taking them quite far, unless they hit a decal-ed wall, in which case they found cover. which should block most attacks.

"Mission..?"

Erin glanced down at his hand, Hazelwood Square. Erin turned away from the 'being'.

"Psycho" he muttered under his breath. While walking away he noticed the time on his hand was ticking away.

 

"I have nothing better to do.." Erin started running toward Hazelwood Square, wondering what in the heck was going on.

Just as you enter Hazelwood Square, you are knocked away by the invisible wall. The red-coated man smiled. "Didn't I just tell you? The square is off perimeter right now. Get yourself away and get your mission done." As he finished speaking, your phone made a noise. You got a new text message.

Brian

 

You heard something crack in your left pocket as you rolled down the street. You duck in behind a particularly wide tree, Lance right beside you, and search your pockets. Inside, you find a yellow pin with three white lines across it, and a broken blue pin covered in thin, red stripes.

 

Obtained Armor Assault Pin.

A carefully aimed strike that can shatter steel.

OoC: Fine fine. Redux!

IC: Kazuma desperately rooted around for a fire extinguisher, but couldn't find one in the panicking crowd. Kazuma started to feel the panic, but tried his best to stay calm. What should I do? No fire extinguisher, no way out. OH CRAP I'M SCREWED!

Suddenly, there was a terrible cracking sound. You look up, only to see your worst nightmares confirmed. The roof is collapsing, burning shrapnel covering the yet living humans. There's no way you can get them out. Then, the train starts to move and you stagger backwards. You're heading out of Hazelwood in a burning train, which accelerates every second.

[Otaku-sama]

Kazuma jumps out of the way of the collasping roof and grabs the girl from earlier. "We've got to get out of the train NOW nyah!" Kazuma retreated to the back of the train and kicked open a door. "Whoa, thats fast nyah! We need to jump!"

[Fen.]

Atticus had no idea where he was. All he saw was light. Where is he?

Erin noticed his phone ringing and picked it up.

Erin stood there right before Hazelwood Square, his head was spinning. He then calmed down, and walked over to the man in the red coat.

 

"Um sir, do you know anything about this?" Erin shows his phone to the man, waiting for a reply.

[Umbra]

OoC: HyuugaKing, I don't remember giving you a Teleportation pin. Oh wait, that's because I didn't, and you can't teleport around the city freely. That's what the walls are for, you know.

Kazuma

 

As you look at the window, you see water running far beneath you. The train is on the Faith Bridge, standing over five hundred meters high. The door doesn't give away from your kick; instead, you are repelled away and land on your back. "What the nyah?" Suddenly, you see the girl smiling. "You're one of the stupidest Players I've met in years, you know that? Can't even tell a wall from a door!" The shoulders of her shirt burst open, revealing a pair of black wings. The girl was a Reaper.

 

Erin

The man smiled. "You really don't know, do you? That's your mission for today, as Player." He nodded. "Oh, there's another thing you might wanna know. If you don't find a partner before the time's up..." He dragged his finger along his throat. "Now, off with you. Find a player to save."

 

Atticus

As the light fades away, you hear a repeating sound similar to that of birds, flapping with their wings. "Good work, Player." The tall Reaper was clapping his hands at you. "You did a pretty good job there, although a bit dramatic." He flicked his fingers. "The wall's up, you're free to go. But let me tell you something, kid. You'd make an excellent Reaper."

[Fen.]

Atticus glared at Reaper.

"I'd Never be like you!!!!! Now what is this sick twisted game? I want answers right now!" Atticus growled to the reaper.

 

OOC: I'm gonna need a pact with someone, or I'm not gonna last long........

Atticus

The Reaper shrugged. "Oh, bother. I'll do you a favor, kid, just because you're Reaper material." A bright red light surrounded him for a split second. Then, you surprisingly see that is a werewolf no more. He looks just as when you first saw him, except that the shoulder of his jacket now has a deep hole through it. He stretched out his arms into the open air. "Everything you see here might seem like the normal Hazelwood at first. But I'm sure you noticed some... differences." To emphasize what the Reaper had said, a young boy walks through you. You nod. "This is what we Reapers call the Underground Hazelwood, or just UG for short. But nevermind, you asked about the Game." He flicked his fingers, and an orb of white light materialized just above his hand. "We call this particular game a Wicked Tournament, a kind of game that hasn't been played in ages. Not since the Dark Ages. It's never been-" He stops mid-sentence. "But who am I to delay your mission, Player? We can talk again later. Off with you now!" The white light shattered into a thousand pieces, and you vanish with it.

 

A few moments later, you appear at the Hazelwood train station.

[Fen.]

"Wait! I-" But it was no use, there was a flash of light, and he heard the train toot away. People were walking through him and ignoring him.

Am I.....dead?" He asked himself sadly. Suddenly, his phone buzzed, a text message? Here? Now was not the time. He opened his cell and saw the message.

[Marly]

"A partner?" Erin stood there thinking, then he looked down at his hand. The time was ticking away. Erin had came to the conclusion that maybe all of these so-called players came form the Train station, where he came from.

 

Erin started running toward the train staiong hoping to find a partner, across the way he kept yelling "Help I need a partner, or this man will kill me!" Erin was in a state of hysteria.

[Fen.]

Atticus then saw a boy with long black hair sprinting through the train station. The guy bumped right into Atticus, he didn't pass through him like a ghost. The two were knocked to the ground.

"What the hell man?! Watch where ur going!" Atticus siad grabbing the guy's hand.

Atticus & Erin

 

Before either of you have a chance to react, you see someone else running towards you. A man with a mane of blazing red hair, wearing a pair of brown trousers and a blue shirt. His eyes are fixed directly on the two of you; he's either a Player or a Reaper. You know that you won't be able to get on your feet before the man gets to you.

[Fen.]

Atticus looked to the running man, and then to Erin.

"We have to run, now. I can tell he's a reaper for some reason." Atticus whispered to him. There was no time at all the man was coming, and he was gonna be there at any second.

[Otaku-sama]

"What are you nyah?! A ghost?! What is this?!" Kazuma backed away from the girl, frightened out of his wits.

[Marly]

Erin didn't say anything, he just quickly nodded. As they were running Erin looked at Atticus and then remembered what the man in the red jacket said. "You need to find a partner or else your...". Maybe I could partner with this kid?

 

They kept running but it was to no avail. The man was right behind them and closing in fast, when Erin tripped. Erin looked up from the ground to see the man approaching him.

 

"Run kid, just go! Leave me" (Erin was talking to Atticus)

[Fen.]

"Like hell I will!" Atticus said, going back to help the guy up. He pulled him up and they kept running.

"Do you know this guy?" He asked Erin pointing behind him.

[Marly]

"Thank you, but No, I was assuming you did." Erin looked behind, the man didn't seem to even slow down for rest. He faced Atticus "I don't think we can run forever, do you have any ideas?"
