Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
As for Ancient Rules' date=' I'd rather dump and revive.[/quote']I've been thinking lately about how funny doing that is. It's a 2-card combo that requires you to also have a certain monster in your hand/deck, and by no means wins the game. But using Ancient Rules isn't any better, and is more specific. The two-card combo is more efficient, though, as the dump can be used to pay a cost, like Trade-In.
Megaworm
Ancient Rules...if only there was a Continuous variant... Normal Summon Normal Monsters over 5 Stars without Tributes?! Forbidden Memories. Kindof like how you could Normal Summon Ritual and Fusion monsters without anything from you stopping from doing so. And you could fuse anything out of your hand to make cards, like a Thunder monster with under 1600 ATK + Dragon monster with under 1600 ATK equals Thunder Dragon. And Thunder Dragon + Any Thunder or Dragon Monster under 2800 ATK equals Twin-Headed Thunder Dragon. Zombie monster with over 2800 ATK + Dragon monster over 2400 ATK = B. Skull Dragon. I hated the brokeness of that game because there were no effects, most of the cards were crap (OCG fillers) and nothing had effects, but it was fun to Normal Summon cards that you couldn't before. Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
If you want to play that way, you always can. Nothing is stopping you from playing any type of Yu-Gi-Oh! game you want. Except the people you're playing against. And if you're in a tournament, the judges. On topic: Ancient Rules would be better if it was any Normal Monster. But even then, I don't know if it would see use.

CrabHelmet
well Ancient rules' date=' when it was seeing play around here was Gigaplant's lover,[/quote'] Ah, so what you're saying is that everyone in your area is illiterate. and delta attacker was used by a guy I know for a realy crappy red eyes OTK ...3 Red-Eyes together don't even have enough ATK to OTK. Not to mention that there is no easy way to summon them together.
Skarlet
Oh I know, he was running Mystic Plasma zone, and he was a deck stacker, so he tended to get it and as for gigaplant, we had a lot of noobs with misconceptions as to gemini's but all the same there were other users

There's Terraforming. and as for gigaplant' date=' we had a lot of noobs with misconceptions as to gemini's but all the same there were other users[/quote'] Did nobody ever think to, you know, read the card text out loud to these people? >_>
Skarlet
yes as a mater of fact i did, and given the remarkable amount of noobs in Armidale, NSW, Australia and the surrounding area you tend to let things go or loose opponents, for gods sake the most experienced advanced rules player in the area, by no means the best, played a deck he's acctualy posted on this forum Zombie Monarch Exodia Synchro, so crab, to answer your question, yes, yes I did oh and the redyes OTK front, he stacked the entire deck to control almost always getting his combo, with a Monarch deck being the only common opponent who seemed to stop it with any consistancy
