Greetings! My alias is MartialArtsMaster, and it is a pleasure to be in this forum.

 

I am here because even when I was a child and Yu-Gi-Oh first came out, I wondered what it would be like if some of my favorite characters were Yu-Gi-Oh cards, and now I don't have to wonder anymore!

 

I will mostly be making cards for the "Pop Culture" section, but my attitude will be a little different. Instead of making "closed sets" of cards (cards that only work well in combination with each other specifically, like field magic cards that only work well with very specifically-named monsters), I'll make cards that would simply make the game more fun overall. I might even make cards that would give boosts to otherwise unusable cards, just to increase the variety in duels and make it so that players can use their favorite cards (instead of JUST the most powerful cards they can get) and still be able to win and/or have fun (just as one example, if I get around to making a card based on "Alexander," the giant mecha from the "Zwei Worter" game by CLOCKUP, I'll make it an equip magic card that only works on monsters with below 1500 ATK points, even such normally-unused monsters as Beaver Warrior, Baby Dragon, etc., and automatically bring their ATK points up to 3000; this would encourage players to use their favorite cards, not just look for "the best" cards). Do you understand so far the philosophy I will be using when I create cards for this forum? I want the cards I create to be usable in ANY deck, not just decks that have THEIR OWN cards in them.

 

I also have recently graduated college, so I promise you my cards will not have very many typos on them.

 

I also have access to many information sources about Yu-Gi-Oh cards, and I will very carefully be consulting them when I create these cards.

 

Rest assured, at least I am not a TOTAL newbie, even if I am new to this forum specifically.
