Which turns it into Jaden and Yusei vs Phoenix/Chazz and Jack. It's also very possible because of their small age difference that the GX-ians are also deadretired. Essentially, Jack vs Yusei. DM was around '06, GX should be around '16, and 5Ds would possibly be in the latter part of the 21st Century. So, Yugi would be in his late nineties, Jaden in his eighties. Dueling much these days? Anyways because of that Yugi will be barely 25 by the time of GX And Yusei will be around -60 to -80 years old. Good arguments we have these days, don't we? Rag raw/sub tells us Domino City broke up 17 years before 5Ds is set, which makes it incompatible with 5D = 2021, GX = 2004, as GX visited Domino City in 2004.
