Behold, mes amis, the latest masterpiece from Vortex Thunder Studios. How many of you remember Super Smash Bros. Legacy? Y'know, the cool one that almost finished (damn you, wind arena)? Well, the maker of that is back for more.

[spoiler=A Warning to RPers]

I also made the [FILM] tag, which means that the RP creator has the right to take everything that the RPers do and turn it into a coherent fanfic, omitting any content he or she would like to. Before you join, please note that the [FILM] tag is on this, and then note that I frown upon my own drafts of Exovarcéôs (postponed indefinitely while I pursue The Farthens and astrophysics, btw), which you ought to be able to find by searching this forum if you include the accents and disable all date cutoffs.

I have a new tag which further compromises the right of the RPers to their own actions (yay me!). [CRVR] means that any joe-schmoe RPer that somehow awes our performance may, with permission from the RP creator and me, use the events of this RP to enhance their own.

[spoiler=The NPCs: Brawlers You Can't Be]

Now, I ought to warn you that there are NPC characters in this. If you are absolutely dead-set on controlling one, peace out, because I'm probably more obdurate than you are. The NPCs are mainly NPCs because of their political status, though some are NPCs for the sole reason that they are AWOL during the events of this RP (like Luigi). These are those NPCs:

~Marth, King of Monomorphic Altea

~Zelda, Queen of Metamorphic Hyrule

~Dark Metaknight, Evil Myriamorphic Metaknight

~Metaknight, Metaknight

~Ganondorf, Dead Myriamorph

~Link, Dead Myriamorph

~Luigi, Dead Monomorph

~Master Hand, Omnimorph

~Crazy Hand, Omnimorph

~Arceus (and all Pokémon), Dead Omnimorph

[spoiler=The Morphics, and Some Vital Background Info]

Did I confuse anyone with those long words that all had "morph" in them? I hope so; I coined most of them. In the world of Zemanar (where this takes place), every inhabitant is some degree of Morphic.

The first degree of Morphic is the Monomorph, which means "one form", for those unfamiliar with Greek. They have only one form which they must remain in constantly, unless it is altered by a Metamorph.

That segues nicely into the the second degree of Morphic, the Metamorph, which means "changing form", for those unfamiliar with third grade biology. They can alter their own shape and influence the shape of others (basically, they can use Transform items). Metaknights are the absolute elite of Metamorphs, being able to change their phase of matter as well as their shape, which quintessentially allows them to literally vanish into thin air.

Once you hit the third degree, you're past the civilized beings. Evil overlords are historically Myriamorphs for a number of reasons. For one thing, they must be birthed by two Metamorphs, which means that since they will be raised among Metamorphs, they will likely be ostracized heavily for their apparent lack of transformative ability. However, the weakest of Myriamorphs can multiply themselves hundredfold at will, and are therefore able to create an army of themselves. The only Myriamorph known to be just is the legendary Hero of Time, Link, who defeated the evil Myriamorph, Ganondorf, who was at the time on the brink of subjugating Metamorphic society.

That's as far as mortals go, but there's technically a fourth degree of Morphic: the Omnimorph. They have the powers of both Myriamorphs and Metamorphs, and are therefore also known as "gods". Only three Omnimorphs are present in recorded history. The most famous is easily Master Hand, who is such a potent Omnimorph that he is literally every living being on Zemanar. There are two others; Crazy Hand prefers to manifest himself as weapons, while Arceus elected to create the species of Pokémon. However, when Arceus was defeated by Master Hand, all but Mewtwo, Deoxys, and a few lucky groups of professor-owned Starter Pokémon vanished from the world.

[spoiler=The Current Plot]

The world is holding its breath as armies of black-helmeted Metaknights mobilize on the northern Zemanar ice cap. The fearful Queen Zelda has begun marshaling her own troops. King Marth, however, would be powerless to stop the mysterious megalomaniacal Myriamorph, and has therefore elected to round up the heroes of yore. Already, famous war veterans have gathered at Fortress Lycea, capitol of the State of Elibe: Roy and Lilina von Lycea, the governors of Elibe; war veterans Donkey Kong (the world's most intelligent primate), Diddy Kong (the other DK's son), and Mario Mario (known for surviving an assassination attempt by his own brother, Luigi Mario); clumsy but mighty King DeDeDe from the State of Dreamland, and the Dreamland Overknight, Kirby.

More allies and enemies are en route to the situation. Eirik, Kyle, Lute, and Cormag, royal envoys from the island of Magvel, have landed in Elibe with troubling news: the siege has begun, and Magvel will be the first front. The already-devastated isle of Tellius is also under attack, though this time by mysterious wicked spectres, and evacuations to Magvel are imminent, inadvertently pledging the support of the Crimean Queen Elincia and the Begnion Apostle Sanaki to the anti-Metaknight cause. The fearsomely advanced Galactic Federation has also stumbled upon Zemanar, and its envoys, the naval Captains Falcon and Olimar, are unpledged, though the Morphic magic seems to equal Federation technology. A rogue Metaknight has managed to defect, and now offers valuable information on how to defeat his quondam brethren.

Most troubling, however, are the wild-card bounty hunters. The support of the Greil and Gerik mercenary groups seems apparent as their home nations grow more and more desperate from enemy attacks — excellent news, as they are no pushovers. However, rival teams Star Fox and Star Wolf have apparently been manipulated into joining with the Metaknights. Most dangerous are the wildcards: Samus Aran and Boba Fett are both mighty and ruthless warriors who have accomplished feats worthy of the Hylian Heroes, whether it be successfully waging a one-woman war on the wicked Space Pirates or killing a Sarlaac pit beast and a Krayt Dragon at the same time with partially jammed weapons.

Of course, then there's the matter of Mount Olympus. The energy source being drawn on by the Metaknights is buried low on the mountain of the gods (read: below the Clouds), and because of its divine nature, it is warping spacetime. Warriors from the past are coming to the present, monsters from another world are coming here, and the Metaknights have been given another front. The travelers know that they must buy time for the existing inhabitants — but how long can they survive on the frigid ice cap?

The dreaded Third War of Zemanar has begun, and it promises to be every bit as devastating as the last two. One crucial difference: the sides are increasingly being divided ethically. What will the outcome be in Zemanar's first war of good and evil?

[spoiler=Application Form]

This is startlingly simple, as all of the characters are premade. All you have to do is choose your character, and then PM me a grammatically correct version, including punctuation, of the following sentence:

my nex trpa is gona be abotu star wasr

Keep in mind that the last two words are a film production.

You can choose any non-NPC character from any Super Smash Bros. game, or one of the following:

•Boba Fett (Final Smash: Slave I; SSBL: Clone Blaster)

•Luke Skywalker (Final Smash: Proton Torpedo; SSBL: Anakin's Saber)

•Mia (Final Smash: Criticial Astra; SSBL: Alondite)

•Soren (Final Smash: Rexcalibur; SSBL: Meteor)

...That got a bit out of hand, didn't it? Oh, well. At least it's concentrated into five series this time. Last time I even had Suikoden. O,x

BTW, if this finishes, we can do the old Legacy tournament, but including the new characters. Huzzah.
