Guest Star
another crappy filler with crappy art. Are we seeing the same picture? The art is awesome. As for the effect, Pika's idea about it being used in Lightsworn isn't a bad idea at all. I think teching one in Lightsworn if Judgment Dragon gets banned could be helpful to the Deck. iAmNateXero
Its funny, i believe all this started over useless super rares. You mentioned CG, and in defense, I argued that CG's Fan base allowed for his super rare rating, along with that The first set of Yugioh was Months after the Manga, and based its rarity not with effective cards, but Decked, and Character cards. If you really want to finish discussing useless Super rares, shall we start over with Gryphon Wing?

I didn't play Yu-Gi-Oh at that time, so I'm not sure, but even now, Celtic Guardian is a lot better than a lot of other cards. Nate, you know you're only defending it because you love it. XD Rai-Jin has potential to be playable, but I don't think it would be very good in this format. Maybe it would work better in a slower format. iAmNateXero
You mean like The first actual Ban list that only banned Chaos emperor dragon, and left BLS, and Chaos Sorcerer to play the night life together. Fact is, its garbage, and was garbage even during Feather dusters limited days.

Tekken Ham
Frankly, I like it. In LS it would be nice Side Deck tech if you're up against Light Imp. Mirror. Then again, Gragonith seems like a better choice against LIM.

Correct me if im wrong, You know how bad my reading comprehension is, You were saying that during the meta where Raigeki was legal, Anti-raigeki was a good choice for... Countering. If this is correct than your agreeing that simply because a card has a counter, it is alright to allow play, of course to a certain extent. So when is this line drawn? Basically why are these cards not viable now in this meta?

On-topic: In the LOB Booster pack, Celtic Gaurdian was... 3rd or 4th highest attack level 4. I think it was the highest attack LV4 in the Japanese version of LOB. If this is correct than your agreeing that simply because a card has a counter, it is alright to allow play, of course to a certain extent. So when is this line drawn? Basically why are these cards not viable now in this meta?Simple. Think about the sheer amount of cards people have access to now. The chances of someone having the said card you want to counter are unlikely, unless it's a common card to use. Which brings me to my other point. Raigeki was a very OP'd no cost field cleaner, so of course people would run it. But I should say side-able at 3, because if your opponent ran enough of those they would be totally wiped out, unless they used raigeki before summoning monsters(however, if they drew raigeki after already having monsters on the field, they couldn't avoid risking them, and because you can't attack on the first turn, I think you get that they would most likely have monsters on their side of the field when it's activated). But weren't we talking about Curse of Drag? It was super because it was a dragon, a high ATK 5 star, and had a high ATK fusion. And I agree with you that Celtic Guardian was SR'd mostly because of its fan base.
