This is no ordinary RPG.

 

If you thought it was, you don't know me.

 

In quintessence, this is an RPG. Quite an impressive one, actually, with nine enormous planets transformed into battlefields on which members of one of four species wage war in the names of three interplanetary empires, in the form of one of 64 classes, using 11 elements, 15 weapon classes, 43 abilities, and 378 spells. I en't kidding around with this one.

 

For fun (read: app form), the races are: Mage, Torhorse, Azlarn, Robot. Magia, Jandeff, and the Dark Imperial are the empires, which are populated by Mages, Torhorses, and Azlarn, respectively. Robots are employed by all four sides, and their AI is no more advanced than how it is programmed. The planets are Harag Thorl and Mana Astris, homeworld and starbase for Magia; Arkhos Mnemon and Arkhos Nova, homeworld and starbase for the Dark Empire; Trag Hatal, the starbase and capital of the Torhorses; Sindra Katar, Jandra Irion, and Leta Nirmaq, each unexplored planets; and Kehoru Repta, which is under fierce contest by all three empires as a resource-rich second world.

 

HOWEVER.

 

Gameplay would be quite involved, a bit like the latest intallment of Valkyria Chronicles, but with elements added from Legend of Zelda, Halo, Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood, and other cool games, if this were a video game. This will be represented by incredible freedom for a statistical RPG. For example, the application form:

This will be primarily a user-generated RP, so this is just a brief plot summary. The Queen of Magia is suspicious of Azlarn military build-up, and has therefore declared war on the Dark Empire. Meanwhile, Jandeff breaks off from Magia and begins a violent campaign on the other two empires. Basically: three-way war. Naturally, it's really far more complex than that... but I'm short on time, and this is primarily user-generated.

 

The excuse for bragging rights: Other than the 64 classes, each of which can promote into another class at some level between 10 and 15 (depending on the class), there are 13 ultra-powerful Master Classes to become. You must complete a difficult quest and face a literally divine boss to become one, in addition to being Level 25 (max level). Of course, surviving long enough to promote even once is quite the accomplishment, especially for support-oriented classes like Extenders, Buffers and Assists, so don't be too upset if someone steals your Master Class (there are only two per class at a time).

 

Now then, how to RP. This is a weird one, so pay attention. RP as if it were a normal RP, but DO NOT CONTROL NPC'S OR YOUR ENVIRONMENT, and when you want to attack someone, use the specific command (attack w/weapon, use spell, use ability, etc.) I'll then calculate the damage to HP. Don't be alarmed if your character dies; you can just make a new one with a new application form, and if you made it in the first time, you're guaranteed to be accepted. Oh, and don't struggle to make characters on different worlds interact. We're talking about full-scale planets, so it may be wise to start on the same planet. If you want action, I recommend an inhabited planet, close to a base. Bases offer teleportation centers, which is good.

 

After you submit your form, I'll PM you your statsheet. After that, you can start, and have fun. :D

But, it's primary program is to study and analyze different opinions, types of thought, personalities, and acquire them by compressing it into data into it's forever expanding 'brain'. So over the course of five years Rho has acquired hundreds of personalities and traits and suffers from Multiple Personality syndrome. His personalities usually differ from time to time.

What are Torhorse and Azlarn?

The Torhorses are horses' date=' but each with a different terrain-crossing abilities. There are flying Pegators (pegasi), intrepid Unitors (unicorns), aquatic Aquators (water horses), and mole-like Subterators (uh... horses with digging hooves?).

 

The Azlarn are psionic creatures whose skins are made of iron or palladium, and whose organs are contained within psio-electric orbs colored according to element. I guess their normal citizens would look kinda like this guy. But they also have Wingblades, Brutes, and Turrets, which look nothing like that, and then the Dark Absolute (Axalon, an NPC) looks like an Azlarn-ized version of Obelisk the Tormentor, plus a kewl cape.

Description of Combat Style: Plays flute to taunt opponents and also to plant subliminal suggestions inside the opponent's head. After a time defending and wearing out her opponents, she activates the subliminal suggestions inside the opponent's mind and makes them finish themselves off. Basically useless without a flute, but also knows a slight amount of Martial Arts, just in case.

Brief Personality Description, In Prose: Faye is a shy wandering musician, prone to fits of childishness. Due to her semi-homelessness, she trusts basically no-one, and only talks when she has to. Otherwise, she prefers to communicate with the world using her flute. She trusts girls much, much more than boys, as traumatic events in her past prevent her from forgiving all men. Due to this, she is also a lesbian.

Pleh... not up to your usual par, I'll admit. I recommend you just change race/empire to a Magian Mage; the Azlarn are a very coordinated community, having recognized that universal cooperation is the best way to achieve things, so there would be no semi-homelessness, assault-ish traumas, et cetera.

Description of Combat Style: What used to be a lack of, Zacharias defends himself most of his time whilst throwing witty remarks to taunt and aggravate his foes in order to break their concentration. He mostly uses his psionic powers to keep a good distance from the foe until he is ready to defeat them once weakened and so infuriated to do anything serious.

Brief Personality Description, In Prose: Most of the time, he actively tries to not show any emotion, but he is prone to fits of giggles due to internal damage. He tries to use witty sayings but, no one really knows when he is talking normally or is trying to be funny.

Description of Combat Style: Being an assailant, Ichagarias fights both with magic, and with a longsword. He prefers using wind and earth type magic, such as many variations of hurricanes and wind bolts, ropes et cetera, or earthquakes and rock rains. When defending he uses the earth wall. His hand to hand combat skill is moderate. Since he is not very strong, he uses a small amount of extra agility granted to him to his advantage. He always starts the battle calmly, trying to find any usable objects around him. In case there are no usable objects, Ichagarias attempts to distract his opponent, and then uses his most powerful magic, the Great Tornado. While his opponent is in the air, he would draw his sword, and finish the enemy when he falls on the ground. In case of his magic being blocked, he simply fights using his sword, but in this case he can hardly kill anyone.

Brief Personality Description, In Prose: Ichagarias is a calm, strategic person, using any weaknesses his opponents may posess. Likes giving orders rather than following them, although he isnt bothered with being someones subordinate.
