Guest
His cards give him advice on dueling and allow him to jump forward and punch you in the face with his fists. Don't tell me that's not awesome.
Exyst
Awesome that is. How I'd love to mug him and do it to others. But he'd do it to me first, Plotting time ¬_¬
Mutant Monster RAEG-HAPYP
That is awesome. Valon can threaten anyone with a punch to the face unless they give him their rarest card
Guest
Oh, and Saiou (Sartorius) was the smartest villain ever. He put his world-controlling plan into motion before finishing a card game with the hero.

ragnarok1945
Same here, Joey took a far greater beating in that duel than against his duel against Marik in BC (save for maybe being burned by Ra)

Phantom Roxas
Yes, but we're discussing Varon here, you could go start up a topic about Sartorious if you want.
ragnarok1945
though I DID wish he'd protect himself better. His deck barely had any spells/traps

ragnarok1945
when your opponent attacks your monsters you're going to be in even more pain, you don't want that do you?
Guest
Yes' date=' but we're discussing Varon here, you could go start up a topic about Sartorious if you want.[/quote'] Zane had the most pro opening move ever. The first time we see him duel, his first turn consists of the cards Mystical Space Typhoon and Cyber Dragon. He could have been running a top-tier meta deck from a year ago, with cards like those. Of course, then he's all like I RUN TEH CYBER LAZUH DRAGUN and starts to fail.
ragnarok1945
and how does Zane relate to Valon's deck? (Other than the fact they're both machine)
Phantom Roxas
Varon looks like Tai from Digimon.
ragnarok1945
I think Tai's hair is a little longer and not as cropped up as Valon's. Plus the fact Valon has a motorcycle :)
Guest
and how does Zane relate to Valon's deck? (Other than the fact they're both machine) I'm finding all the most evers, one at a time. Best deck, most pro opening move, most genre-savvy villain... ...and worst deck upgrade. That's Zane's too. We all know that Cyber Dragon is good, and Cyberdarks are not good, so switching from the former to the latter is a terrible move. Jaden and Chazz tried to win this award by adding Neos and Ojamas to their decks, but their decks - E-Hero Fusions and Armed Dragon/VWXYZ hybrid - were already bad, whereas Cyber Dragon is actually decent, so it wasn't as big a step down. ragnarok1945
well Valon's opening move against Joey did have a sloppy finish of leaving him with no monsters on the field and no cards face down to protect himself.
werewolfjedi
Oh' date=' and Saiou (Sartorius) was the smartest villain ever. He put his world-controlling plan into motion [i']before[/i] finishing a card game with the hero. AND after losing, he still goes on with it, where then we get the random monster summoning outside of duel, and he nukes them. he freaking nukes them. I bet he could have gone toe to toe with zorc himself in that form. course, then he has a change of heart and kills himself. why do the best evil villains kill themselves? Guest
Almost every villain is given some sort of sympathetic backstory and is reformed by the end. Pegasus, Marik, Dartz, and Siegfried are all villains, as is anyone who serves as one of the Big Bad's knights and steals peoples' souls.
Phantom Roxas
Except for Siegfried of course.
ragnarok1945
Actually during the closing credits of the sub, Siegfried did reform to some extent. Only Yami Bakura did not because he was Zorc and got destroyed
