Goku and the young reincarnation of Buu, Ubb, are still hard at work in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. All seems well, but unknown to the Z Warriors, an invasion is taking place. Not one with alien, but androids! These "Z-Droids" have been designed to look and act like the Z Warriors with 1 thing in mind: replace the Z Warriors by killing them.
