Take Obelisk for example. He has a blue background and isn't a ritual monster, and Ra has an effect but still has the normal colored background. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by removing 3 face-up Fiend-type monsters on your side of the field from play. During your Standby Phase you may remove one Fiend-type monster in your graveyard from play, if you do this card is unaffected by card effects that destroy monsters.
