moneypony
they are new synchro monsters introduced in a yugioh 5Ds episode, nobody knows if they are really coming out or not you.you summon them by having a dark tuner and a non tuner monster on your field.you subtract the level of the non-tuner monster from the dark tuner and it must equal the level of the dark synchro, negative in this case. A●O●J
Dark synchros are basically negative versions of synchros. Instead of adding 2 levels, you subtract levels. Dark synchros require Dark Tuners. Most Dark Tuners are high levels of 8,7,9 etc. You subtract the regular monsters level and then you subtract the dark tuner to get a negative number.(Example: I have a Level 4 Dark Synchro. I have a Level 4 monster and a Level 8 Dark Tuner on the field. I subtract the level 8 from the level 4 to get -4, thus allowing me to Dark Synchro summon my Dark Synchro.) This means that most Dark Synchros have low levels. Stars are also on the opposite side of the card. There are only 3 Dark Synchros so far, and there only in Japan right now. There is an explanation on the Dark Synchros of how to summon them. Why they did this im not sure. Look them up on the wikia for more information. Link to comment
